I want to call out one bread in particular -- the Danish style rye bread that they make once a week. Was Wednesdays under the previous owners. Seems to be Thursdays now. Way back with the original owner, a Danish exchange student brought in a family recipe in hopes she could get this taste of home. They have been making it since. We needed lunch, and after talking to who I believe is Tim, the head baker, my hubby and I took his recommendations and couldn't have been happier. My husband's name is Kevin, so he ordered "The Kevin," which is turkey, cheddar, house-made coleslaw, and pickles. He DEVOURED it! Then wanted another! I ordered "The Laurie," which is roasted beets, Laurel Valley cloverton cheese, black pepper, arugula, and a balsamic drizzle.... People...! THIS is my new favorite sandwich of all time!
