So my 4-star review is limited to those 2 individuals. I cannot say the same for other staff members. One of the individuals who sits you down to get you ready was not hospitable and bed side manner was terrible. I have a very small mouth and always request the smaller xray process. While my hygienist has never had a problem with that request, she refused to do it and it was a more than 30-minute process to get her to understand. She even moved me to another room and caused my appointment to be moved to after another client because of this. One other issue which anyone might want to consider is cost. I believe they are higher but they cannot charge more than my insurance will allow. So, if you do not have insurance you might want to compare prices.

My hygiene assistant, LaShante' and hygienist, Heather were great, friendly, and knowledgeable. They made my visit so comfortable, pleasant, and actually fun!! My dentist, Dr. Beckton was outstanding! She had taken care to explain everything after my examination. Awesome! Glad hubby found this office! My only reservation was with the front desk person who oversees the insurance/benefits activities. Not a pleasant experience.

If I had read the reviews I probably wouldn't have gone here. Thankfully I didn't, because I was…read morevery satisfied with Dr. Pinker. I had to have a tooth extracted, it was becoming painful. Long story so I'll condense it. The office was very clean and I found the staff to be very nice and helpful. The hygienist, Kerry, put me at ease, while getting me prepped. Dr. Pinker was professional and took his time making sure that the area was numb. When he started working he explained what he was doing each step of the way. It all went smoothly, with some minor discomfort when he was removing the two nerves. Explaining that the other nerves were very close. Nothing major. He cleaned up the area and then put in a couple stitches. I wasn't sedated but had a few numbing injections and laughing gas. Two suggestions I would give him is, come in before we begin to prep and introduce himself. Because I think it'd be nice. And secondly, perhaps they should call the next day and ask how the patient is doing. I've always had the doctor or dentist do this when I lived elsewhere. Just a nice gesture. But, otherwise, I'm very pleased with my outcome.

Well a couple months later the tooth fell off so i went back to see Dr Pinker and he told me he does not remember this and will not replace my tooth. How can a surgeon not remember what happened when he pulled 3 teeth out of my mouth that day. So i lost a $3000 tooth because of him.

Again, I wanted to make the appointment, and my friend had 30 minutes to meet me before his next appointment. It was a schedule conflict, but I wanted to keep the appointment! There was nobody in the lobby. One patient exited during the brief time I was there. My friend and I sat waiting for my daughter discussing shutters; he was with me. My daughter's cleaning was less than 15 minutes long. When my daughter exited the hygienist's office, I was told that front staff would make me the next appointment shortly after. So, I waited with my friend and daughter. I was called to schedule the appointment. Few minutes later, a heavy set, most likely Latina (I am Latina, too) came out from the back to tell me that we could not be there--meaning my friend and I discussing the shutters. Again, there was NOBODY else there. This woman was beyond condescending. She did not identify herself. I was made to feel like a crime was committed. I am disgusted by the lack of respect I received. Here I was telling my friend what a great dentist office is Flagler Dental Associates only to be humiliated by this woman. I called to speak to the office manager. She is out for a week. Whoever this woman was may have cost the practice four clients plus a new one and his family. We will see if the office manager calls me. With so many dental offices to choose from, customer service and respect should be common sense.
