Sept 8, 2024…read more Recently I had Jeff Nolan come out to my property near Avery to view some repair work needed on a building. Jeff was courteous in our meeting and agreed that he would do the repairs and send me a work order via e-mail with a cost estimate. Regrettably, Jeff did not furnish me the cost estimate at all. I waited a week for the estimate and made several phone calls and left messages on his cell phone asking if he had made the estimate yet. After a week had passed when I heard nothing from Jeff he sent me an e-mail saying he decided he couldn't do the job until next year. This was in conflict with what he told me when we met at the property a week before. i had to come 82 miles on the day we met to discuss the work needed. Jeff did not act in a professional and organized manner in this negotiation. He was not business-like and pulled the rug out from under me and made no attempt to get me satisfied. I could not recommend him as a contractor because he apparently does no employ fair business practices. However; We're finding several issues with this install, the molding is coming away from the walls, we've found bad patch work, and even manufacturers defects.It is too late for us to have these issues corrected therefore, I'm informing folks about this so you can be very VERY DILIGENT In inspecting your installs. During our consultation we looked at different samples of flooring. We were educated on the differences between the types of flooring we were interested in which were, hardwood, luxury vinyl and carpeting. After learning about the differences in flooring, we narrowed our decision down to carpet and luxury vinyl. We received the quotes for both carpeting & luxury vinyl fairly quick. They were both reasonably priced which we were very happy with and we decided on the luxury vinyl. We originally were going to go with a pattern that had some grey hues to it but did some research online and found a deeper color vinyl that we fell in love with. We called David and asked if he had that specific tile available. He didn't have it in stock so he ordered it for us!!!! We were very happy that he was able to accommodate our request. David arrived on time the day of installation. The rest is history. We will be using Sierra Carpet to change the flooring in our remaining rooms, hallway and staircase. We bought our home 4 years ago now and were ready for a change. The carpet we had was 9 years old. Now we have the most beautiful flooring in our living area. See the transformation of the room in the pictures. David your work is amazing, we haven't stopped talking about how the work you did has changed the look and feel of our family room.
