When this location is more convenient than the Delray store, I have no problem stopping in. This is one of the best Whole Foods in the area... always clean, with excellent produce and a consistently strong selection of fruits and vegetables. Side note: if you haven't tried the Organic Adriatic Fig Spread, it's definitely worth checking out. I was first introduced to it during a Whole Foods demo where they paired it with cheese on a cracker, really great with lots of things, even vanilla ice cream. We had had lunch in the same shopping center and decided to stop by to check them out. We usually go to the Whole Foods stores in Pompano Beach and Boca. And we have our favorite departments. We started with the produce department on entering. Everything here is beautifully arranged. And the organic fruits and veggies are very expensive. I was looking for a few small non organic yellow onions, but they did not have any. I wound up getting one large one. We browsed the cheese section. We like getting the little bits of different cheeses. They have different types in very small wrapped pieces. This gives us a chance to try new to us cheeses and see what we like. We found several to take home with us. We also stopped by the olive bar to get some large cerignola olives. We usually get the green ones but grabbed a couple black ones to try. The bar is priced by the pound. Then to the bakery department. They used to make vegan ginger cookies that my husband loved, but discontinued them. We found nothing similar here but we did find a new to us variety to try. Honey graham brown butter sounded interesting. Glad we stopped by. My Friday ritual has become calling Oscar or John when Whole Foods opens at 8 o'clock. They shuck and put aside two dozen oysters for me at a dollar each. I process roasted garlic, Parmesan, olive oil, basil, spinach.... Putting a teaspoon of the stuffing on each shell. I put them on a low broil for 10 minutes and they are to die for. I shouldn't tell everybody about my Friday night oyster dinner because I'd hate for them to run out. read more

I feel like I am still pretty new to the "Whole Foods Market" and really enjoying it and understanding how it a works. I see that the stores follow the same model from location to location so I am sure that the reviews will be pretty much the same except for the location specific items. This store in Boyton Beach is pretty amazing and very much a mirror of our store in Long Island, NY This store is perfectly located in a very large lot with a huge parking lot. The lot is busy and we had to look for a space since there are so many people here. The store is very big and very bright. They really make it a welcome place to do your shopping. Besides your standard groceries of canned items, boxed items, bottles and cans, they have an AMAZING meat and fish counter. Plenty of choices of both fresh and cooked items are right there. There is also a wide variety of sauces and spices so there is something for everyone. They had a very impressive collection of select cuts of meats. There fish diplay and inventory is very complete. They have an amazing selection of fresh sandwiches. They also make fresh sandwiches on demand in their very complete deli. There is also a major selection of soups, salads, warm and cold food. Clearly you can spend hours here. There Sushi stock is very complete and looks extremely tasty. This Whole Foods Market is a true delight. There is plenty of free parking and there are some other nice stores in this little shopping center. Today I went in to turn in an amazon return. I absolutely LOVE that feature. The produce looked so delicious that I decided to shop a bit and pick up some things I didn't need :). The meat and chicken all looked delectable and compared to other grocery stores these days, the prices weren't too bad. I did the self checkout where I learned that I could link it to my amazon account - - - I have no idea what that really means but I'll bet it's a good thing! read more

Each time I go to the prepared foods department to pickup something for dinner etc. I find the selection and sides to not only be sparse, but look old and dried out. Nothing like the store in Delray. Whoever is running this department either doesn't care, or doesn't know how to manage it. I hope something is done to address this problem. read more

This place is clean and the staff is on top of things but whoever decided to not keep on top on cleaning the bathrooms was not on point. I don't remember going to a Whole Foods where there was only 3 bathrooms total. It was a very hard pass since there was a line of people complaining about how these bathrooms were. The two that I have been to around here have "rooms" where you can wait and stalls. But here people were waiting and complaining. They are near the eating area just like all of the stores but I wouldn't want to hear the people complaining while I'm eating or working. The store was nice. I was in this Whole Foods for the first time today and used the self-checkout. I had a bakery item and didn't know how to ring it up as the only options were 'Hot Bar', 'Salad Bar' or 'Olives' if you didn't have a bar code. So I ask the young man supervising the self-checkout how to ring up a bakery item, and his response was 'well I need to know what item you have in the bag first.' ??? So I said, well if you're not here to ask, how typically would a customer pay for a bakery item in self checkout? He again replied, 'I can't answer that until you tell me what item you have in the bag.' This happened again a third time. I finally tell him that it was something with guava in it as I honestly didn't remember the name of the item. He finally revealed that I needed to hit the 'search' button on the screen. My friend, why not tell me that the first time as it was the correct response for ANY bakery item with no bar code?!? And why not have a 'bakery item' option on the screen?!? Folks..... Not rocket science. I found his lack of help very irritating, insulting and passive aggressive. I will try to avoid this location going forward. read more

This is a very large beautiful store - new. I have eaten here a few times. They did not appear to have any of Chef Chrsty's I-m LEAN in their refrigerated bakery case when I visited in the beginning of October 2025. I did have iIssues with CORPORATE PRACTICES, GALLAGHER BASSETT stopped communicating with me & TEAM LEADER LIABILITY took over - he was a calculating man - NOT A POSITIVE EXPERIENCE. I chose to stop communicating with him except to share the REVIEWS that disappeared- but the photos remained on here that I took. We are not always allowed to share our truths - by email or a recorded Gov't phone. The incident was of a FOREIGN OBJECT found in Chef Christy's I-MLEAN Organic Raw No-bake Vegan Orange Twist Brownie in my mouth - thank goodness I did not swallow it. I did get sick / ill and am still dealing with that in my own way. It is a shame - I have chosen to be a Loyal Customer of Whole Foods for over 20+ years - I am an ORGANIC GIRL. The corporate team did try to intimidate me - it was most disappointing. My goal is simply to alert the GENERAL PUBLIC of ways that these things fall thru the cracks. They are trying to cover-up their LIABILITY of sitting by and watching - they did not have have a policy in place - they let the customer do what they want but then choose to laugh at them. They believe that once a Whole Foods employee opened a complaint with Gallagher Bassett (WFM) that all would be taken care of and they refuse to speak with you about anything. I was shocked - this happened to me - I did not do it to them. The Team Leaders in the store need to be aware that when it is NOT the customer that caused this problem - they should be smart enough to change their tune. Very bad business not to be adaptable. Gallagher Bassett wanted to buy me off with a $150 Gift Card - I said NO DEAL. So nothing was resolved on the corporate side. I did want to share that a store and their corporate decision makers do not always have the GENERAL PUBLIC'S or their Loyal Customers best interests at heart. The Team Leaders did not choose to reach out to their organic food distributor KeHE about a problem with a FOREIGN OBJECT found in an Organic Food Item that you used to carry in your stores with an expired permit, nor did they choose to pull that product off their shelves for the GENERAL PUBLIC'S SAFETY thru out Florida or the USA, nor did they reach out to the FDACS to have them do their investigative findings of what happened during manufacturing - Food Safety, nor did they choose to reach out to the FDA with a label stating a business closed since 7/2023 and no valid food permit with the manufactured at address on the FDA approved UPC Product Label with the incorrect manufactured at & caloric count - the three tiers are not what the product was approved as - FRAUD on the owners part. It is deceptive of all the particulars that should have been in place to distribute the product KeHE did to Whole Foods - negligence for selling it that way. It is FRIGHTENING that they are only concerned about their Liability and not the GENERAL PUBLIC'S welfare. We deserve to know when we are no longer important to a business's concern for FOOD SAFETY. Supposedly, after approx. 58 days later they say No Store Carries the product any longer. This is you & your family's HEALTH & WELL-BEING. You choose to VOTE with your dollars. I was not reimbursed for my time nor the products that made me sick, nor the transparency of sharing everything with the Team Leader of Liability. Driving to the other STORES to alert all parties where product was and was not. KeHE their Organic Eco-minded distributor told a Fla Dept of Agriculture Inspector that they have NO PRODUCT left of the 5 Year FROZEN Shelf-life items of Chef Cristy's.... the audacity!! This was repeated to me by the Inspector. FDACS Inspector on a recorded line shared with me she reached out to MANUFACTURING in Broward County - which would have been Chef Christy herself (they did their own manufacturing at 2 cafes they owned). She said to me, "The OPERATOR said they don't have a business anymore. Then he also relayed to her the DISTRIBUTOR alerted Whole Foods in July 2025 by a letter to remove product from their shelves. I believe the Fla Dept of Agriculture was also lied to .... that would be PERJURY. I do not know whether they verified and requested a copy of the Letter given to Whole Foods - that would be a very important piece of the puzzle if in fact it happened that way. Unhappy with the lower quality fruit options compared to other stores in the area. The prepared food is non existent and oddly smells like stinky feet. I was so excited to be able to get fresh and healthy items just around the corner, but I can't. I have drive to Wellington or Boca. What's the point of putting a store in if you're not going to invest in the same high quality product? Online is no better because the food comes from the same store. At least the Fresh Market allows me to choose the store I want and pay a surcharge for delivery because of the increased distance. read more

Went to local store for our weekl/Christmas seafood items and it was nice to see all the different seafood. But when we got home that feeling changed. The bones in the Seabass were displeasing more bones than meat. $40 dollars down the drain. Mow on to the grouper disgusting the smell of bad seafood as soon as we unwrapped it. $80 dollars down the drain. Thank goodness we didn't put it right in the freezer and unwrap it on Christmas Day. Don't like throwing away money that is earned with many hours of work. Never again will we shop at whole foods. read more

Came to this location twice times to order a whole vegan pizza but was told by 2 separate employees that the pizza dough has milk and eggs in it. I usually order vegan pizza from the Delray Whole Foods with no issues and even use the prepared dough to make my own pizzas at home. Being very confused by this, I went to customer service to get things cleared up and Tracy was a big help in clarifying that the pizza dough is in fact vegan and even checked the box and ingredients with the prepared food supervisor. This location is lovely and Tracy was a huge help but the pizza employees need to be better educated on what they are making to avoid confusion. read more

I get this store just opened last week but come on. You want to make a good impression on the people coming into the store. Barely any hot food out and tons of people were looking for it. Half of the chicken packages in the poultry section were open (nasty) I didn't find out until I got to the register and it basically spilt on me. Store has a terrible layout as well. Two frozen food sections very hard to navigate through the store. No good flow for traffic carts. Staff were very obnoxious, gave me a hard time when I explained I didn't want something and wanted to remove it from my order. Over all would I go back no never, rating 2/10 and that's being generous. You would save so much money and get better food at Target across the street. Hope this helps. read more

Worst Whole Foods store I've ever been to. It's a small sized store, parking is minimal and a nightmare. There is no room in the isles to pass other shoppers. The prepared foods section was pathetic, with only 4-5 choices of food available. The deli area had long lines and was slow moving. The cold food section and the bread sections are tiny and offer minimal choices. The sushi offered here is low quality and has limited options. Overall, this was the worst experience I've ever had at a Whole Foods. I ended up not buying anything and just leaving. I'll never come back to this store ever. Even trying to drive out of this location was a nightmare, with cones blocking off traffic and rerouted traffic. I'd rather drive further out to the Boca or Wellington Whole Foods stores for excellent selection of items, plenty of shopping space, and no parking headaches. read more

After a super long wait for the opening, they finally opened. The store is small compared to some older Whole Foods stores, and they do not carry many items that the other stores stock. They do have a lot of staff working the store but that does not help if you carry less items. The west front entrance is a joke and the north exit is behind the bulding. Realy? there is enough room for an front exit but it is blocked by cones. I believe the architect only had a half of a brain. Now maybe things will change but for now, if you need to do a full shoping spree, you would need to go to larger Whole Foods store also. read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION. The area manager and GM should be ashamed to call this their store. The staff I interacted with were just straight up rude. I saw a woman making pizza cough on the food she was making 3 or 4 times. Prior to that I asked a question about the pizza and she never even looked at me and gave me a one word answer. The pizza slices that were ready were 2 slices of cheese and 1 slice of meatball ricotta. 3/4 completely empty stations. Additionally, at least half of the staff were either talking to other staff or just sitting on their phones. Will never return to this location. Back to Linton in Delray. Horrible experience at Whole Foods Boynton Beach today. Needed to return a $16 bottle of hairspray for credit and was refused. The pump did t work. The clerk asked for my receipt. Does anyone keep a receipt from weeks ago from a supermarket? So we got a guy named Ryan involved. He said he was the store manager. He would do nothing and told me to leave the store or he'd call the police. Keep in mind I never asked for cash. Ryan actually intimated that maybe I never bought the item there despite the fact that it is sitting on his shelf (which he made a point of confirming). Is this his idea of customer service. I have spent untold tens of thousands of dollars w/ Amazon (Prime member) and Whole Foods. I was a regional manager myself in retail for 30 years. I would never allow this from any store manager or district manager. I left the hairspray on the counter and had my wife leave her cart behind with probably $200 worth of groceries behind and left the store. After all I didn't want to get arrested. Okay, having been to at least 20 Whole Foods in close to ten different states, I feel like I'm being generous giving this one three stars. We went in hoping to do a realistic full grocery shop and were really disappointed that this location simply did not stock a number of the items we were realistically expecting to find at Whole Foods (example: organic whipped cream). Furthermore, the staff, while nice, did not seem knowledgeable and a few of them even apologized either because they didn't know the answer to our question or because they did not have what we were looking for. Needless to say, we had to stop at two more stores when we left to complete our list. Speaking of leaving, the exit is so counterintuitive - located behind the store where delivery trucks go. I was going to leave two stars but they sent us a coupon and our cashier let us use two simultaneously so I added a third star. read more
