    Brisket spoiled!!!!

Bought $30 worth of brisket for my elderly 96 year old father for Rosh Hashana. How dare they sell it spoiled. If I allowed him to eat it ... he would have been sick from it , all alone , wheelchair bound. Shame on you Glicks.. Never again P.S. had to be discarded . Not even ok for the dogs.

Some people might say " hey your in delray for few weeks that's in middle of nowhere" Well if it's in middle of nowhere at least they have good places with good food. Just hanging at the rents condo for a few weeks and was looking for something to eat. I had some chicken salad and tuna salad this past Monday. Silly me I thought the $6.99 price was for 1 lb of chicken salad but this place charges that for actually 1/2 ! Lb. Why? I'm no expert but i think it's because the nearest kosher store like it is in fort lauderdale which is like 40 min away. I had the pastrami wrap...you got to give them kudos for cutting it so small. It wasnt till I was halfway thru it that I noticed that I was eating the paper around the wrap also. But it still turned out great and at $9.00 is a really good price and is $ 15.00 cheaper then what Essex on Cony in New york charges for their pastrami sandwhich which despite me eating some paper turned out to be just swell

Obviously it was sold to The Grove, another Kosher Market in Boca Raton. There are remodeling the store. Also the price have increased, either because of the sale or just inflation. Best selection Kosher prepared foods, deli, and grocery items.

Love this place. So much really good prepared food. Lots of pretty typical things like chicken teriyaki, meatloaf, eggplant parmigiana, etc. but also lots of smoked fish, lox, sable, whitefish salad, and so on. Some more unusual things that you're not going to find at Publix too that are just yummy. The store also has a small amount of fresh meats and fish, and a small grocery store with typical items like cheese, yogurt, bread, etc. Because everything is kosher, it's all pretty pricey, but if you need kosher, this is a great place. And even if you dont, it's still worth coming into. They have some delicious things.

Ignore the Snowbird "Kvetchers" and "Yentahs" - Glicks quickly stepped up and became our "Go To" spot for Kosher Rations. "The Team" - Max, Victor, Max and Erica are very unique, friendly and kind. I can't seem to remember everyone's name - Nevertheless, since moving to the region this past Summer of 2022 - I have quickly become a regular at this location. I often visit Glicks 2-3 times per week. My wife and I love the Rotisserie Chickens, the Eggplant and the Homemade Pasta Salads. My wife also loves the Pea Soup. Glick's has a very respectful stock of the necessities. The Cashier staff are unique and friendly and always go out of their way to say hello to me. Appetizing / Fresh Good sections are typically stocked well and clean. I've never had any quality problems. Prices recently have gone up - but, what can you say. I suspect many of Glick's patrons voted for "Old Man Joe" and all I can say is that "You reap what you sow" - so shut up with your complaining! Wish they could continue the "In Season" display and set up all year round - but, I get it. The French Canadian clientele are amusing! Overall - the scene towards Shabbos can be amusing. Plenty of parking available - However, just be vigilant in the parking lot. Glick's Customers aren't the best of Drivers. Shabbat Shalom!

IN 1 LINE: BEST CHICKEN SOUP IN TOWN! I feel a cold coming on, so where do I go for that good ol' "Jewish Penicillin"? I need some food for Shabbat, so where do I go? I need some comfort food, so where do I go? I need to prepare for the holiday, so where do I go? =GLICKS! Some favorites include: chicken soup, split-pea soup, string-bean almondine, tzimmes, coleslaw, knish They also have a large selection of Israeli brands (and even the famous, Elite popping chocolate)!

    Turkey Chops!

Drove from North Miami a couple of times to get turkey chops (yes, turkey chops) from here. It's one of those things found normally in the Northeast but we got to Florida and none of the butchers knew what I was requesting until I found Glicks. The staff here are the kindest and today I had to write a note to let them know. I called earlier today to ask if they had the chops and the butcher said they just sold the last package. I told her I am coming from Miami and she said "let me see if we can make more for you." She got back on the phone and told me to come through and they would have them for me. Meanwhile, I was at another kosher "Grove" market where I've gotten the chops in the past, but the new butcher looked at me as if I was speaking Greek when I asked for turkey chops. NOTE to GROVE butchers in Surfside and all kosher and individuals that consider themselves meat butchers --study your craft! This is a common cut of turkey (comes in white or dark meat btw). So I drove 57 minutes to Delray and seems I may have to do that again if I want turkey chops. Thank you Glicks Kosher Market!! Bought all they managed to make for me. So kind!! Maybe do a butchers workshop for your colleagues as part of the "Grove Kosher Market." They need it. And I can't forget the fresh bagels and doughnuts are so good!

I'll admit... my expectations weren't very high, but wow, was I pleasantly surprised! The Crispy Beef is an absolute MUST! Hands down the best dish we ordered. The Chicken & Eggplant was delicious, the Mongolian Beef was full of flavor, and the Chicken Fried Rice was really good. It was a little light on veggies, but they definitely didn't skimp on the chicken. A special shoutout to the Crispy Noodles with Vegetables. I loved that they packed the sauce on the side, so the noodles stayed perfectly crunchy until we were ready to eat. Such a simple touch that made a big difference! Honestly, everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and exceeded our expectations. There wasn't a single dish we didn't enjoy. If you're looking for great Chinese food in Boca, Bambu is definitely worth trying. Just remember it's kosher so no pork lol We'll absolutely be ordering again!

To my surprise, as I approached the store, I noticed the place was very dark. I tried the doors, but they were locked. I peaked into the dark tinted windows & from what I saw it seemed to me like a place that has closed down permanently. Wow, there were no signs, nothing to state they are out of business or just temporarily closed. My Uber driver already left so I had to call for another one. It was disappointing that II spent all this money on a place that closed its doors & sad I had no way to get anywhere else but back home, since I wasn't going to spend more money on uber to go somewhere else to eat. From the…read moremoment you walk in, it's shelves upon shelves of everything you could possibly need, and plenty you didn't know you wanted. The kosher wine selection alone is impressive, with rows and rows to choose from. The prepared food section is a standout with a dizzying variety of pre-made hummus, salads, soups, and other take-away options. A huge selection is available of Israeli products (even shampoos, date syrups, Bamba, and cleaners). Kosher meat is readily available, and the house-made sushi is excellent. There's also an in-house burger bar and made-to-order juice and açaí bowl station, which adds to the "one-stop shop". Their challah deserves special mention, and in my opinion, some of the best store-bought challah in the area. If you're after the coveted raisin challah, get there early on Friday, because it goes fast. Speaking of Fridays, be warned that the store before Shabbat or a holiday is absolutely nuts. Aisles get crowded as people scramble for last-minute Shabbat needs. Everything for Shabbat is here, including candles, challah, food, plates, wine, chicken soup, etc. If you forgot to put on tfillim that morning, that is also available. Seasonal holiday items are also brought in throughout the year. To my knowledge, aroma is not affiliated with the ubiquitous Israeli Aroma coffee chain (oh how I miss their ice coffees). Is it pricey? Yes. But that's typical for a kosher marketplace, and the selection and convenience justify it. The fuits aand vegetables seem on par with other non-exclusive kosher places (like Publix, Aldi, etc.) Parking can be a bit chaotic depending on the day, but it's generally manageable. The staff may not always be warm and fuzzy, but they're efficient and usually helpful.
