Went in to drop of my Amazon return & the guy there was super nice ... than I thought tooo late for the bread BUT they have awesome soup so I pick up 2 quarts... I'm telling ya ... soooo good ... plus even this late this store is always busy

Sure it's $$ but you get the best of the best. If you are a Amazon Prime member open up your app and use it when you check out. You usually get a discount on items a plus. The wine section is pretty good and staff is cool. They have a parking lot. Party on

Would 100% not recommend going here for your grocery needs during the pandemic! 1- line out the door 2- non sanitized carts 3- too many people inside once you get there, I ran into TOO many people 4- once you get to the checkout... TWO CASHIERS OPEN: which meant that all of the customers waiting to get in, and those that are crowding the store.. are now standing on top of you. No thanks! Go to TJ's instead.. they even smile, and sanitize your hands before and after you enter the store!

Fresh swordfish featured from June 27th - July 10th, yet they were out of it . . .

I received a flyer in the mail a few days ago from Whole Foods, and on the cover, as well as the first page inside, there are photos featuring swordfish (harpoon-caught, fresh not frozen). The flyer is dated June 27th thru July 10th. I stopped in today specifically with swordfish being my goal to cook for some guests tonight. The fish monger tells me, that was last week's ad, we have no swordfish today. I told him it was on the monthly flyer that comes in the mail, and he knew nothing about it. I wished I would've had the flyer with me so I could've shown it to him. On my way out of the store, I also stopped at the service desk to ask them if they had a copy of it, and they said they never see those flyers, but that all of their sales run weekly. They were clueless about it. Now I have to come up with an alternate dinner plan. Also, ever since Amazon took over, this Whole Foods has gotten worse. The produce isn't as nice as it used to be, and also, several items that I used to frequently purchase are now discontinued or were out of stock today. How can you be out of whole wheat hot dog buns the day before 4th of July weekend? Why was there no breakfast food in the hot bar this morning? Why did the bakery discontinue single serve hoagie sticks? I could go on about some other items also, but I am sure you're tired of reading my rant. Can I get some cheese to go with my whine?!?!?! :(

    Picking out all the cheeses:)

I really liked this location of Whole Foods. First impression was the parking lot - it wasn't crazy and dangerous like the East Liberty one. Instantly impressed! We went on a Saturday and the parking lot was busy, but not full at all. This location reminds me of a Giant Eagle Market District inside. I was glad to see they had the fresh guacamole that is made in the store. It's so fresh and reasonably priced. I also picked up some odds and ends of different types of cheese. Similar to Penn Mac in the Strip they have little chunks of ends of cheeses for a few dollars. It's a fun way to try cheeses you aren't familiar with. I also bought a whole wedge of brie because they had a discount on all the brie cheeses. Their deli and hot food section was really neat and clean and had great options. This location also had self serve fresh pizzas for sale by the slice. I had never seen that before. I was excited to browse the wine because I was expecting natural or organic wines since it is Whole Foods. It was the same basic selection as Giant Eagle Market District. It is convenient if you're in a hurry, but I wouldn't look here for a special bottle. The cashier was friendly and the lines were not long. I would definitely stop here again if I was in the area.

This is the only WF I've encountered that has this crazy yummy gruyere croissant. I'm guessing no actual French person would grant this the salutation of croissant, but it is so delish. I live in Shadyside so not near this wonder, but would like to make friends with anybody that transports my way occasionally for a croissant exchange program :-)

The customer service area is very poor. I asked for help and got none. The hot food area is no better. Disappointed.

Once again, no vegan entree on the hot bar. No vegan entrees for the meal deal. If I could give them zero stars, I would.

It is spacious and plenty of room to pull in and out of the lot unlike the East Liberty location.

It's crazy how time flies!…read more My last review for Eden's Market was in 2013. I stopped in here recently on my trip to the area. I was so relieved to see that it still existed. It was perfect for stocking up on some simple healthy grocery basics to tie me over during my brief stay. I got some vegan smoked gouda, some coconut aminos, and some natural spring water. The smoked gouda was perfect for making some quick snacks on my flight home and I took the coconut aminos in my checked luggage to enjoy once we were back in CA. The owner is always eager to help offer advice or help you navigate the store. I was particularly impressed with their growing CBD tea collection. If you're looking for some healthy vegan, paleo, or gluten-free snacks this is your spot. Trust.

Tucked away off the side of busy Mt. Lebanon, Eden's Market is WAY too easy to miss. I was looking…read morefor this shop though because they partner with Ugly CSA, and I wanted to pick up my bag of veggies from local Pittsburgh farmers. (As for a book comparison, Eden's Market puts me in mind of A Room of One's Own by Virginia Woolf.) Eden's Market offers a bunch of specialty items for gluten-free folks, and they partner with local farmers for meat and other offerings. While I'm not gluten-free, I have a few friends that are, and this find will help me take better care of those friends when I host them. I also loved that I was able to find some sustainably made toothpaste and other household essentials. They carry different toiletries and more as well.

Disclaimer, I'm not a regular shopper at Fresh Thyme Market - not because the store is bad per se,…read morebut because it's pricey. Fresh Thyme is an organic food supermarket chain, so I'll stop in occasionally to see what's new and/or to treat myself to some "fancy" groceries. Because of the cost of their items though, I'll shop here for supplemental goodies after getting my main haul elsewhere. (For me, Aldi and Trader Joe's are stops #1 and #2. Places like this, Giant Eagle, and The Fresh Market are where I go "just because" or when I want to splurge on groceries.) When I do stop in I always explore the baked goods and frozen foods - usually there are items and brands in these sections that aren't at other stores. (A lot of items are gluten free, too, which I know makes a difference to a lot of people.) I generally skip the produce and deli sections; the selections in both are decent but I can find these things elsewhere for less. And here's something I've never had to say about a grocery store before: I ALWAYS walk right past their supplements section, which is (in my opinion) unnecessarily large. I could talk at length about my problems with how supplements are (not) managed in America, so before I bog down my own review we'll move right along! Final thoughts: their selection is fine, and in theory it's great that they sell a variety of "healthy" things. In practice though, the food products are overpriced, and there are enough vitamins and supplements on sale that I almost question whether or not this should be classified as a grocery store. While I'll pop in and out of here occasionally, I'll never be a regular shopper.
