I moved to the area in July of 2022. I had been looking for a Functional Medicine Physician. I had read on the Whole Health site all about Dr Porter and I thought she was just the one I needed. To my dismay everything took a turn for the worse due to her care. Her focus on one part of my bloodwork resulted in other areas of my health being ignored and becoming dangerously low due to her treatment plan. My first visit was $500. That was for a quick visit with the doctor and purchasing a few of the supplements she recommended. I have no issue with Dr. Porter. However, being an RN and being in the medical industry, I didn't appreciate the attitude of the MA. It's for that reason I chose not to go back for my follow up visit. She was short and snappy when taking my medical history and the sad part is she was training someone. I couldn't get over her poor attitude in an expensive cash based slower practice. I always say, if you aren't a people person you shouldn't work in medicine. I submitted my claim to insurance and none of it was covered. Hope the MA found a better attitude or new job. read more

Dr. Porter is a thorough and knowledgeable professional. I have suffered with high cholesterol and hypertriglyceridemia for years and had no success managing it with low fat diet and exercise. Dr. Porter ran a much more complete blood panel than was done by my internist. Based on those results she prescribed a diet that restricts carbohydrates. She took a lot of time explaining things and answered all questions that I had. Though it seems counter-intuitive, with continued exercise and the new diet the cholesterol and triglycerides are now near normal. I visited my previous internist for annual physical. She was surprised with the improved numbers and no longer felt I needed to go on anti-cholesterol meds. I was told by my neurologist that I must take Vitamin D- I am very pleased that Whole Health offers the dose that he prescribed and that it's available in a single capsule. The available doses at the drug store required that I take 14 capsules to attain the dose he prescribed. I highly recommend Dr. Porter! read more

Dr Porter is a truly awesome doctor! My husband had not been feeling great for several months (had no energy, kept having cold like symptoms and just didn't feel great) this was pre Covid so we reached out to Dr Porter and my husband had an apt the next day! Dr Porter did several tests and found out the cause! I never like to complain or leave a bad review but this is really not good..do not come to Whole Health for an appointment that may involve lab work, two months I've been trying to get a certain test run and the first time, they could not find my vein after sticking me 5 times and told me to come back, a little annoying but I tried to be understanding. I got in again for the following month and the girl who was to draw my blood came in without saying what she was doing or verifying anything (which is what safe and professional practices do) and just started with the blood draw, after I saw all the vials she was filling I finally asked if she knew that I was only getting one lab drawn and she did not, she didn't even have the right order and drew 5 more vials than she needed to before checking with me. Once again annoyance and made me feel like they didn't know what they were doing but I tried to be understanding and tell myself maybe it was just a weird fluke thing. A few days later I get a call from their office saying they got my test result back but something happened to it and they need me to come back and have it redrawn. I was honestly shocked but asked what happened and the woman on the phone could not tell me... I went online to their portal to cancel my upcoming follow up appointment and kindly informed them of the frustration and that I would not be back, I went to get my records and results from their portal and they had already inactivated my account within five minutes, and both office workers during this process (Emily, Stephanie) were passive aggressive, did not seem to know what they were doing, and just were not helpful whatsoever.. big disappointment and frustration and definitely will not be back. I had high hopes as I went to them years ago and they were great but something has happened along the line and it really should not be THIS hard to get one lab draw... so save yourself the trouble and go to Quest or somewhere else. read more

Dr Kinga Porter helped me after over 10 years of unexplained infertility. I paid cash for my visit and submitted it to my insurance - very easy process. My nutrition and hormone labs were covered by my insurance directly. All the supplements she gave me are GMP certified and was MUCH cheaper than IVF or a fertility spec visit! After my second miscarriage we did all my blood work and changed my diet and supplements based off results.
