HOWEVER, I recently purchased a 2016 Land Rover Range Rover from Auto Kings November, 2025. The RR is a dream to drive and own! From my first call, Koby was very informative and helpful. He emailed me further information on the SUV and was honest and low pressure. I was then contacted on Koby's off days by Austin who was incredible to deal with as well. Auto Kings has a service department that inspects their cars and performs oil changes, filters, etc. and they prepared my Range Rover for my 800 plus miles home. This Range Rover was a one owner vehicle from Las Vegas, and Auto Kings often finds good, rust-free vehicles from Nevada shipped to Oregon. I wired the funds for the vehicle, priced at a reasonable, "no haggle" price and communication was easy throughout the process. Over the week after purchase, Austin, Derrick, Anna, Roz and Koby were incredibly helpful. Koby offered to arrange shipping but a trip to Oregon sounded like a fun weekend trip. My son and I made a father-son road trip through some of the most beautiful landscapes and forests in the country. Upon arrival, Koby met me with two sets of keys in hand at their new, beautiful facility. Modern, clean and filled with beautiful cars and trucks... On the way home we toasted the Santorini Black Beauty at Coppola Winery. It may sound like a sales pitch but I am a legitimate buyer who drove the distance for a quality SUV at a great price AND will contact Austin and Koby again for future purchases.

Diagnosed $380, new computer $2700, new valve cover $2,200, and now a new cam shaft $4200. I actually can't afford the cam shaft after the first two repairs so it's sitting in my drivewa I paid $12,000 plus interest and I'm $10,000 in the hole, and I still owe over $10,000 on the car. I'm crushed and beyond disgusted with Autokings. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. ZERO STARS SHPULD BE AN OPTION.

I should have read the reviews first about how this place treats women and the younger generation. It would have saved me 3 weeks. I brought my Subaru to the shop knowing the issue already. I have owned several cars, worked on several of them and have had amazing relationships with my previous shop owners, volunteering at their drive events, their car runs etc. I spoke to the gal at the front counter and it was agreed that they still had to do a diagnostic but the fee would be refunded towards the work if we moved forward. Fair. I drop off my car again letting them know that the thermostat was stuck and in need of replacement. When the thermostat got stuck the pressure popped one of the hoses off from my radiator and had made a smelly mess but that was not a concern. Then comes the call from the Big Man himself where he elaborates how he makes the big bucks to tell people like me that I am wrong and that my car needs new heads based off what he can see without taking anything off the car and smell. I very respectfully respond that the smell and looks he is seeing is the mess that I made with the radiator and that since the thermostat would need to be replaced anyways can we just start there. Warren's response NO, its a 3k repair or nothing. Again, knowing my car and now understanding that this shop has no intentions of working with their customer and post being tossed into an Mansplaining argument I pick my car back up. I let the gal at the front desk know I will wait at least 1000 miles after the repair from a shop I got in your 1 star reviews before posting this review. I did not however state that I will be telling everyone about my experience, and we all know the math between how people share experiences, we share our bad experiences much more often to help people steer clear of the same mistakes. Which is what I am doing now. I have had my thermostat replaced, I have a new great shop with someone that cares and listens to their customers and it IS NOT HERE! We have made trips to Portland and have more than a 1000 miles on the new thermostat. Needless to say just like I tried to calmly converse with Marshal about, no one is right all of the time, even Marshal can be wrong. And he was not only wrong but RUDE, AND A TOTAL SEXIST!!!! This shop is a good ol boys club only. If you are a female and forbid you actually know you car DON'T GO HERE. Your car won't get fixed and your feminism will be degraded. Don't get me wrong it is a great dealership with service just be ready to open your pocket book. It is not like it use to be and pay some money to have some one work on your vehicle. We use to love taking the vehicle in to get worked on. Anymore it is sad we don't take it in because of pricing. It is sad we have gotten to the point where you can't just take your vehicle in cause you don't want to work on it. Now it's you either work on it or you won't get it fixed do too you can't afford the part. Of the six items that needed repair their service department looked for reasons to deny rather than fix or even try to replicate the problem. For instance, the factory horn that can be seen thru the front grill on a Wrangler 392 appears to be rusted. Went back and forth with the service advisor on how that's a factory horn and he kept on insisting that its aftermarket. After many times going back and forth, turns out the plastic cover on the factory horn came off and exposed metal - still can't get an answer why this isn't covered under warranty. 2) the vehicle came with half-doors and soft top uppers along with factory full doors (Jeep). The factory soft top upper doors began leaking and leaving about 1-2 inches of water on the driver and passenger floorboard. First the service department claimed it's not covered under warranty because I installed a rack on the back half of the vehicle. When I pushed back, because the leaks were coming from the front, they pivoted to say the tops were aftermarket and Chrysler would not cover after market parts. Had to go back and forth again with the service writer. First he said he couldn't see the jeep came with those doors from the factory. Then he said they are not OEM. Upon pressing, he miraculously noticed the Chrysler emblem on the corner of the vinyl window. Pretty obviously you ask me. 3) alternator not charging battery. Service response was that because I added after market lights to vehicle, the can't diagnose and troubleshoot. 4) transfer case not engaging front axle housing. Known problem in the 392. Supposedly they found metal shavings in the oil. When I called bull they pivoted and said it's due to my aftermarket axles and Chrysler will not cover them. I call bull specifically because when the Jeep would not engage the front axle, I changed the oil and it was filthy dirty indicating a problem with the problematic clutch plates. The dealership didn't check the oil! I call bull. The vehicle was never driven with the new oil. A few more issues but I won't bother. I have never experienced such terrible service from a dealership. I would have expected them to be on the side of the consumer. I will NEVER bring my jeep back to this dealership in Bend. They lost a customer for purchases AND for service.

They called me to tell me that the car has two different areas in the engine that show signs that it is "seeping" and "may leak soon." It would be nearly $7k to fix these two "seeps." The car hardly has any miles and I've never had any trouble with this car. I had been looking at trading in this Toyota at Kendall for a new one, but forget that. I don't want to be tied to this service department. I know that they can't control what's wrong with a car, but $7k to fix two "seeps" is ludicrous. Update: The sales manager (Jason) called me and we talked about my concerns regarding their findings. He assured me that their technicians are ethical and well-trained. The "seeps" were found by their computer and that they always want to give you all of the info. "What you do with the info is up to you." As a result of his call (even though he's not on the service team), I bumped my review from one star to five stars. Admittedly I was frustrated yesterday and it's not their fault that my car has issues. It's just so stinking expensive to have auto mechanics look at your cars these days. My service manager Timothy was nice enough and they are efficient with the check-in and check-out process.

It appears that 3 are items that must be on a Kendall recommended service (ie: Dealer Money Maker) that is above and beyond the Toyota Maintenance Intervals. It appears that all 3 were for items that likely were not even manually checked / observed at the time of service. As an example, the cabin air filter was listed as needed replacement, even though it was replaced by me recently, and after checking it again today, appears to be brand new. I've lost a LOT of respect for Kendall dealer maintenance, and their recommendations.
