I'd never had PT for anything before in my life so therefore had no real expectations. To try to make a long story short, I was amazed at the improvement I made with the guidance of Tori Lopez, the clinic manager. Results easily exceeded expectation both in pain reduction and final results in body movement. Tori gently led me while quickly adapting to any changes with me. I can't recommend her clinic enough!! I already had some cortisone injections and now was ready to begin to strengthen core and lower back muscles. Preston took plenty of time to talk with me and see exactly what and where my pain was. Began a treatment plan and have had several treatments with his team. Sophia, Blaire and Hanna have worked closely with me providing the correct instructions on my exercises. They are all very caring and give one on one attention, which other facilities don't always do. Another thing which I greatly appreciate is that they are always on time with their appointments. They respect my time as a patient, so I know when I will be finished and can plan other things with certainty. The therapy office and treatment areas are very clean and sanitized after each patient. I had to experience a few of his rants of him commenting in various topics and it revealed a pretty caustic and poor attitude. However, there are positives, he does spend a lot of time doing manual manipulation and massage, which is a plus. My experience of his abrasiveness is consistent with one of the other reviews. I've switched practices and am thankful to be in a more positive environment to continue my rehab.

So I started to search around to see who would be able to have my insurance cover it. Vista Physical Therapy in Alliance gave me a call back and let me know they accept my insurance and that it would be covered. So I signed up with them for twice a week with my $25 copay. I walked in one day at the beginning of February (One and a half months after starting with them) and saw a weird balance on my account. I got worried because, I am already on a tight budget with everything else as is. So before I went in, I had them look to see what that was. The woman at the front assured me it was a mistake on the address for the insurance company and that everything was covered and good. She told me to just make my copay payment. So sure enough, I went for another month without anything being said to me about it. I paid everytime I went in and have an emailed receipt for every visit. In March, I get a call. Apparently, my insurance never covered occupational therapy and only would cover physical therapy. So they told me my balance was over $3k. First off, I confirmed with them 4 different times to make sure it was covered. You don't sell someone on a $25 copay and then come back and go "oh by the way, it actually wasn't covered and its going to be over $100 per session". Thats the business' mistake and the appropriate thing to do would have been to say "Hey, we messed up. Thats on us but going forward this is what you would need to pay per session". I would have never spent over $1k a month on 2 times a week when I already owe thousands in other medical bills. I've already spoken to a medical lawyer. I am very appalled by the situation and the way they handled it. I would like to note that the only reason I have 2 stars is because my therapist, Tori, was great.

They are truly an amazing group of talented PTs and…read moreit's because of them that I've been able to make a recovery and restore my regular mobility. I came to Premier after a complex Total Knee Replacement and had previously been going to a different clinic (ATI). The prior clinic did not prioritize 1:1 patient care and I ended up left with a knee stuck at only 90 degrees range of motion at 4 weeks out - leaving me unable to walk normally and requiring me to go back to the surgeon for a Manipulation Under Anesthesia. It was divine intervention to find Premier after that! I called the day after my MUA and spoke with Dr. Brad (clinic director) who was incredibly kind and immediately helped work me into the schedule and get a solid recovery plan in place. He was even open to partnering with another Pilates-based clinic as I wanted to do some sessions there as well. Brad, Ryan and the entire Premier team were always open and willing to do what was needed to help me get the best outcome... exactly what a patient wants/needs after going through such a hard surgery! Dr. Ryan Vick is amazing and I highly recommend! He made our daily PT sessions fun and is SO skilled at what he does. He proactively incorporates new things to try and adjusts as needed, and you can tell he has a big heart and genuinely cares about his patients. Dr. Emily is also wonderful and always coming up with new exercises to try -- her positivity keeps you going! The techs/front desk staff (Parker, Bri, Yumi) were also consistently helpful and kind, and helped keep all appts running efficiently and on time. After 5 weeks at Premier, I gained 44 degrees in range of motion to reach 134 degrees flexion - which has put me back to work, functional daily living and activities. I had to return home to San Francisco (was in DFW area post-surgery to recover with family) and it'll be hard to find another PT place here that will ever match up to Premier! If you're deciding between different PT clinics, stop searching and come here!!! They are truly the best!
