We called for an estimate and got one scheduled at our earliest convenience. The rep cam out to…read morethe house, took measurements and wrote us a variety of quotes. One with a tear off of the original roof, one with shingles right over the existing roof and estimates with and without our outbuilding. A complete description of the shingle products followed and we were allowed to keep some of the sample colors for a few days to make sure we chose the right one. The estimates were not the cheapest and not the most expensive, they were just right. We signed the contract and scheduled the work. The crew consisted of a few hard working, courteous men who cleaned up all the debris when they were done. The roof was done quickly and looked great. We even had a chimney inspection done after the new roof was put on and everything around the chimney was in perfect condition and sealed up properly, according to the inspector. I would highly recommend them. In fact, someone from my neighborhood hired them after our roof was done and so did a co-worker. Both had commented on the high level of professionalism and the great job that they did.

The quote I received to do the work was fair--this is a smaller, and, in my experience, honest local company that is not out to gouge you. Once they were able to show up and do the work, they were fast, professional, courteous and efficient. A crew of 3 guys tore my rotten clay tile roof off, and replaced it with asphalt shingle in just 1 day----- on a 25 x 25 ft Greendale original home with a pyramid hip roof, plus a small adjacent, 10 X 8 ft utility room roof, plus a cleaned up the yard fairly decently as well, before leaving that day. (The dumpster remained till the following day though--but it was also removed quickly at jobs end) The company has been professional during every step of the process. The crew cleaned up fairly well, but there were a few things --some tile chips and debris here and there, 2 or 3 roofing nails left in the driveway, some tile and debris on the front porch overhang, and some scrapes on the siding where tile had scraped when it was pushed off the roof--(which were easily removed with mineral spirits) , and a piece of scaffold equipment still up on the roof near the chimney which was possibly left for inspection purposes. I can't complain though --considering the monumental mess with piles of debris this job created. Owner Keith sent a follow-up guy to clean up these things to my satisfaction and the guy made sure I was happy with everything was A-OK before he left. The cleaner that was used to remove the scrape marks worked like a charm--with no marks visible after. The house looks exactly as it did before the job began except now it has a new roof! This company prides itself on doing a good job and getting Angie's List rewards, it means a lot to them. I thought the price for the job was fair. Also, they provide a 10-year warranty on their work, and the shingles themselves have a 50-year warranty on them, in case there are unforeseen issues ahead. They deserve the solid reviews they get. I would hire them again. And may do so for an attic insulation job, which they also specialize in.

We've since used them for a bathroom remodel, installing new windows, and redoing the master bedroom closet. They use quality people and work at a fairly good pace for a contractor.

Unfortunately I have a low pitched roof so during the recent heavy rains, we've had some water seepage probably due to too much water on the roof. I have emailed Rob's roofing about the leaks on several occasions and each time, they come out and take care of the offending leak. They even went as far as to remove an edge vent that was preventing the natural flow of water off my roof which was causing water backups and leaks. They installed regular vents in it's place and that solved the leaking issue. We've had some torrential downpours over the past month or so and the attic has remained dry. So, Rob's roofing does stand by their product. No run-around or excuses. They came right out and fixed whatever needed fixing.

That was a big deal to us with kids and dogs.
