First time customer the service was poor, also the food portion was small for the amount I paid. I order the papaya salad, hoping it would be somewhat authentic but it was sweet- let alone some vegetables were FROZEN? I ordered two dishes from them and was told it would take "30 minutes"- it took an hour.... very disappointed, hope it gets better read more

Amazing! And so reasonable. Portions are huge...and they allowed me to bring my own bottle of wine (no alcohol served). Quiet and serene. Portions are crazy and healthy...all fresh veggies and not frozen. I don't live in Bismarck but I wish I had this restaurant in my town. PS... spicey is as described! We were amazed. I'm sure a lot of the Thai food is "Americanized", but we immediately said - do you do "authentic" and they pointed to a couple of "Northern Thai" and "Southern Thai" dishes. They were both amazing. We normally take pictures, but we realized that only after we had eaten. Absolutely fantastic. read more

We went to this restaurant for dinner and were promptly seated as a party of six. Our server was very nice but offered us to arrange our own seating instead of adding the extra chairs to our table himself. The restaurant itself was nice looking but definitely had some aging signs, such as the chair seats starting to crack. We ordered an array of dishes to share with the table and they came out in a timely manner with nice presentation. The portions were large and easily shared. We ordered two appetizers; spring rolls, and fried spring rolls, three main dishes a noodle dish, pad Thai. A Rice dish, drunk chicken, and a yellow curry. They were all delicious and fresh tasting. The sauces that came with the spring rolls were zesty and had a nice level of sweet to heat. In general i would choose to eat here again. read more

I am so happy that Bismarck has some great Thai food! And not only is the place sparkling clean and the service is great but - they have sooo many vegetarian options! I came here with my vegetarian aunt and carnivore uncle. My uncle very much enjoyed his chicken pad thai and tung tong and chicken fried rice. My aunt and I loved our tofu pad si-iew and the vegetarian paradise appetizer (it really is paradise - ridiculously good fried tofu and sauce) and fried spring roll. My aunt and uncle both, being native North Dakotans, are very spice-averse and were worried their food would be too spicy. It definitely was not and they loved it. Yes, some of us are spice wimps here in ND! Lol. I brought home some tofu pad thai for another meal for later and I can't wait to try it! We will all definitely be back here. It's great. Great Thai food. The service can be slow depending on who is working. The curry is more like soup and the rice ratio is off. I love the pad see ew and fried rice. The laab isn't great though, nor is the Thai tea. I've ordered from door dash as well and they have put a lot of care into their to go orders. read more

The interior looked nice and welcoming and people social distanced. We did a takeout order of Pad Thai medium and deep fried Spring Rolls. That is easily enough for two adults. I must say, the pad Thai here is on par with the best in town at Eat Thai in South Bismarck. If you like a bit less veggies and bean sprouts then Waing is the way to go. Taste is very similar to Eat Thai, which is a good thing for me. Medium has a fair amount of spice. Gave five starts for the pad Thai alone. Spring rolls had a lot of chicken. Little veggies and couldn't really tell they had glass noodles in them. They were good, just a bit bland with so much chicken. read more

I ordered the Pad Thai which was okay. I also ordered their Thai boba tea, which was not good. I don't recommend it. The bobas were not cooked and it was so bad. On a good note, the restaurant was very clean and the lady at the front was pleasant. read more

This is a great little restaurant that opened about a year ago. We are from out of town visiting family and pleased to find something other than pizza and burgers. Very modern and clean. The food is excellent. We had several dishes off the menu and all were very tasty. They are admittedly short staffed leading to longer wait times. But hang in there it's worth it. Only note of concern is the lack of face masks and no sanitation of menus and tables. We took our order to go. We'll be back next time we are in town. read more

We want to love this place so bad... Tonight we called in and ordered a pickup order of two meals. The waitress told us it was going to be an hour and a half or so (live close it's alright), went to go pickup our food and waited another 45 plus minutes. About 2 hours later, we have some pretty good pad Thai and a sort of soup I wouldn't get again but ate because I was hungry. read more

Ordered takeout. Dumplings, green curry, satay, fried rice and drunken noodles. The flavor in curry and dumplings was good. Wasn't crazy about the rest-satay flavor was overpowering and the rest was overly sweet-we prefer Eat Thai-more balance of flavors IMO. Overall it's fine. read more

This was our 1st time at this Thai restaurant as it is new. We had take out vs dine in. We had 4 different dishes. All were very good, we had medium spice level and they were just right for our taste. My only complaint was an employee was eating at the reception counter , one of my turnoffs in a restaurant , I think it just looks sloppy. read more

Count me out on this one. Really, the second star is just me being nice. The massaman curry with chicken was just ok. The laad na with tofu was just ok. But the basil stir fry with tofu was a salt lick with soy sauce on it. I'll be guzzling water all night. Seriously - avoid that one. Way, way too much salt. I mean, if you gotta use that much salt, the recipe should just go in the trash. The little "deep in the jungle" apps were kind of fun. But nothing saved this place for me. Just opened two months ago, this restaurant is not very busy yet, but the service was good, restaurant was clean, many items on the menu to choose from, I always order a papaya salad when I come to Thai restaurants, the sauce in the papaya salad was really good, but the portion was a bit small... the fried rice had the "wok hey", which is the signature of good fried rice. The curry rice noodles (Khanom Jean) were really good and spicy, tasted like a tomato based soup instead of curry that I am used to. The pad Thai Khai Hor was pad Thai wrapped in eggs, supposed to wrap in a thin layer of egg, but the egg was more like laying on top of the pad thai, but the flavor was still good. Disgusting unspiced, unseasoned, coconut milk soup sold as curry. Separated, gross and not worth anything but the trash. Ordered Chicken potato curry, cut a coconut milk, water, separated separated mess with undercooked potatoes, no spice and a couple of shavings of chicken. Seriously horrible. If you want curry go somewhere else. When I spoke to the server she very ignorantly told me that the curry was supposed to be watery... Not... Separated with coconut milk clearly gathered about a quarter of the way from the bottom? Yeah no. Just give it a miss, because if you don't and you get this trash you won't get a refund. Their food is good, but they service is not good right now. No one answers the phone to take orders and so we ordered online to have the food ready to pick up at 6:30 pm. The food was not ready until after 7:00 pm. If you don't have enough staff to treat your customers correctly you should change your hours or become pickup only. When we got our food home it was lukewarm and the curry had separated. Obviously they had the curries ready at 6:30, but didn't have the rice ready. This was our last meal at Wiang Thai for the foreseeable future. read more

This place is amazing. The food was a 10/10 the texture is amazing and the customer service out standing. I come here a lot and I've had no problems. I would also like to complement the the dine in. Lovely restaurant- very clean and tables well spaced. Spring rolls were AMAZING. Other dishes also very good and I liked that he brought me a shaker so I could adjust the spice. Loved that there were pictures of many of the dishes - so important in an ethnic restaurant. The waiter said he didn't usually do that job but the service was great! Liked better than the other Thai restaurants in town- so happy that Bismarck is starting to have some diversity!!! read more
