Worst experience ever. We came for dinner and the service was terrible. It was extremely slow. The waiter spilled an entire glass of water on one of our party. One member didn't get their half salad that was part of their meal until we reminded them 3 times. One person didn't get their salad dressing for their salad until the entrees arrived. One person got the wrong salad. It wasn't until the entrees arrived that they notified me that my entree was not available.and they didn't even ask if I wanted something to replace it. He just said "we're out of mozzarella so the captées isn't happening" and walked away. We had to flag them down to ask if I could order something and to notify them of the missing items - but by then everyone was eating their entree so I said I would just be fine with my salad. He gave me a disgusted rude look and shock his head and walked away. We had to flag them down for anything. We waited forever for our checks and any other type of "service". When the checks came we expected the person who got an entire glass of water spilled on their should have had their meal comped or at the very least a decent discount. I mean it was a completely full glass of water and she was SOAKED. But no. They gave her a 10% discount. A member of our party went to speak with the manager and was told "you're lucky I gave her anything" she then explained that the service wasn't good either and he said the service was "just fine." He was incredibly disrespectful and I can't believe he's a manager. I mean the whole situation could have been handled with much more respect - he was rude from the get go and offered zero apology. Then the waiter came back and said I have to reprint your receipts....they took the receipts and then went back and added gratuity on it. The sad part is we still would have tipped them but they did that only to be spiteful. One of our party asked the waiter the name of the manager and he in a very rude tone said well we've got three and she said the little one (she's a foreigner and meant younger) and then They got really rude and started yelling and told us to get out and escorted us out of the restaurant and told us "don't ever come back". We've been here plenty of times and have never experienced such terrible service. Love this pizza! We had the Quattro Formaggi, the Smokey and the Veggie Style. All were good, but the whole family loved the Quattro formaggi best, just simple good ingredients. Their marinara is delicious. The veggie style was my least fave though I expected to like it the most. It was plain except only the kalmata olives were what mainly gave it flavor. It's thinner crust, more reminiscent of true Italian style pizza. Cute atmosphere and great service. The only con: the price! $10-11 for a pizza that barely feeds 1! Also, they charge the same price for a kids soda as they do an adult! Rip off. My kids barely drank the small cup without refill. Next time I won't bother letting my kids get a soda. Yelpers recommended the garlic formagi pizza but it was too much for me. I wish I had gone with a classic pizza with traditional sauce. I will say the crust is perfection. Not thick like the pie and not super thin either. Just right. It had a nice crunch to it. Breadsticks were on par with every other I've had. The pizza and breadsticks came out blazing fast. Wicked Pizza. We discovered Wicked Pizza on a busy Friday night. If you are like us, this 3rd strain of covid has us tired of the same at home atmosphere. Heading into our 3rd year of masks, social distancing and quarantines it is even more of a treasure to experience a new atmosphere. Making the decision to be cautious and spend more time at home hasn't been a bothersome change in lifestyle. Yet, sometimes after a long week of work , it is healthy to reset by changing our environment. The experience of long lines for everything everywhere certainly keeps the reality of this difficult time in the forefront of thought. The need to change our environment increases. Our favorite restaurants give us that little something that we look forward to, that thought that says "this is such a treat to experience." However, after 2 years of frequent visits to our favorite restaurants, that "treat" feeling can lose its savor. That is where we found ourselves Friday night. We didn't want the same old favorite places. After a quick search of Pizza places we found Wicked Pizza. We parked and went inside. Clean, spacious and welcoming. So many places to sit and visit. Booth seating and tables. Tables on one side to watch the making of the pizza and pizza being baked in the pizza oven. There was a wait and the staff was fiercely working to accommodate those who were seated, those who were picking up orders and those who were waiting to be seated. The staff was busy but that didn't stop the cashiers tentative customer service. She took my name and number and said they would text us when our table was ready. She said it would be 30-35 mins. We received a text saying they would let us know when we could be seated. About 25 mins later we got the text and walked inside. The cashier was busy and the host recognized us and said ours was next. I wasn't expecting them to recognize us. The host was funny and energetic. Our waitress was the only waitress for all the tables. Now for the best part.... The food! The house salads were fresh and the ranch dressing so yummy. The patriot pizza was without a doubt full of flavor and perfect texture. Thin crust was authentic and the crumbled sausage was zesty and hit the spot. read more

Based on recommendation, we came into Wicked Peel while in the area. Super chill atmosphere and we loved the booths all over the place. We prefer them to table and chairs. The service was good. It seemed like many of the servers were very young. This is possibly their first server job. There was one server who was more "seasoned" but she was helping another table who couldn't figure out the mobile menu. Our server was kind, quick, and refilled our drinks (when we asked). She wasn't overly impressive, but she was good The food is what we came for. It came out quick and we enjoyed it. First we started with the garlic cheese bread and cheese triangles. The cheese triangles were just okay. Nothing special in my opinion. We all loved the garlic cheese bread, my 6 year old especially. He loved being able to dip it in the marinara. It was really good. And not too garlicky. We then had the pasta and meatballs. The pasta came with a side salad. It was a traditional Italian side salad, and we weren't too fond of it. Okay, but nothing too great. The sausage and pepper pasta was very good. It was a little spicy, it not overwhelming. The ingredients were fresh and tasted great. It also came with a piece of garlic toast. Also, good. We also ordered 2 meatballs. They are so individually. They are so good. So meaty. We've had meatballs from other places that seem to limit the meat and use bread and egg fillers. These guys have proper MEAT balls. Good flavor and excellent with the marinara. Overall it was a great experience. We were glad we were in the area to try. read more

I wish I could leave ZERO stars..... I went to dinner last night with some women in my neighborhood. The waiter accidentally spilled a FULL glass of water on one of the women in our party. It was an accident, we didn't make a big deal. The service was slow, but we were staying busy chatting. The salads came, I had asked for a couple things be omitted from the salad. It was wrong, another salad had the wrong dressing, one didn't get her salad that came with her meal. While delivering the salads the waiter told one of the ladies that they were out of mozzarella, so caprese pizza wasn't happening. He didn't bother to let her order anything else to replace her meal. Drinks were left empty. We had to flag him down for everything. By the time we were able to flag him down to ask about an entree to replace the caprese the rest of our entrees were out. We asked for our checks a few times. We got our checks and the person who got the water dumped on them (and was still wet after a few hours of being there) had received a 10% discount. Really? So a member of our party approached the manager and asked about it. He said "I was the one who approved, it she doesn't have to get anything, it's just water". The lady then let him know our service hasn't been that great, the manager then told her that "our service had been fine. " The lady told him we wouldn't be back. (Not because of the server, but the managers treatment) We all gave them our cards and checks for payment, he then came back and said, sorry the manager needs to adjust the checks and I need to reprint them. He came back and the change they made was they added 20% gratuity. He said, parties 6 and over need 20% gratuity. Their website says parties over 7 say there is a 20% gratuity. We then asked our waiter for the managers name, our waiter told us there are 3. One person in our group said the small one (language barrier, meaning younger one) and our waiter said, he's a grown man. He's not little. Then proceeded to throw all of our checks on the table. I was in the process of returning them to each person when the manager stormed over and told us to leave and that we had to go out the side exit. Get out and don't come back. I stayed behind trying to get cards and he was yelling at me to get out, I asked if I could get my card. He said that's your card isn't it? I said actually no, they were all thrown at us and I'm still looking for mine. He continued to yell and tell us to get out, didn't give us time to review our charges or even sign the receipt. I've NEVER been treated so poorly in my life. Update: I happened to take a picture of my initial receipt from the first copy and noticed this morning they charged me for a salad that was INCLUDED in the meal. My husband went back today to get a refund, they told him how horrible we were, and told him that we would have to collect the money from someone in our party. read more

We have driven past this place so many times saying. We need to try it out. Tonight we finally made a great decision because it was awesome. There was no wait on a Friday night at 6:30. We were sat quick in a clean, quiet, spacious booth. Our server, Mark, was attentive, extremely nice and had a killer mustache. He deserves a big fat raise with the service he provided. I loved the simplicity of the pizza and the prices were even better. We will be back Very soon knowing a place close to us is this good. Unfortunately, I'm updating my review from 4 to 1 stars after a particularly poor experience here, and then a worse customer service experience from the owner. At this time, I can not recommend that anybody eats here. I ordered a delivery pizza, and there was a long strip of sharp plastic baked right into the cheese, which caused my daughter to choke. It clearly resembles the top of a bag, something you would find in a restaurant kitchen, but it was firm and sharp from being baked along with the pizza. You can clearly see the warp in the plastic from being exposed to heat. I photographed the piece of plastic, threw away the rest of the pizza, and immediately contacted the owner through Facebook. I was given a number to contact, and I spoke with the owner. I was not rude, my intentions were to make her aware of the situation so she could make sure it wouldn't happen again. Also, an apology wouldn't have been too bad. First, she made me feel like she did not believe my story in the slightest, and you could hear it in the tone of her voice. She kept telling me that it was entirely impossible that a piece of plastic like that could make it into the pizza, due to her "strict" quality control. I was given plenty of reasons why this could not be their fault in any way, shape, or form. I was a little flabbergasted. As a business owner myself, mistakes are always going to be made, especially when food is involved. You apologize, correct the mistake and make the customer happy, and then make sure it doesn't happen again. Second, she asked me for more proof, going as far as telling me to bring the piece of plastic in so they could inspect it (I still have it in my possession, but was a little disgusted at the conversation at this point, knowing it was going nowhere). It felt as if she was challenging me the entire conversation. I understand people might try to take advantage of you as a new business, but I felt this was pretty obviously their fault. Finally, I was not given a single apology for the experience, nor did she offer to replace the pizza that contained the plastic. Not once did she apologize or take a hint of responsibility for the incident. You would have thought I had complained about something that was completely unrelated to her business and her pizza kitchen, such as the fact that I was upset about the weather and it was somehow the fault of Wicked Peel. Overall, I'm exceptionally disappointed in the way this was handled, and I don't have much faith in this business. I also don't want to have to worry about each bite I take, and wonder if it's going to lacerate my mouth or throat. The only good thing about this incident is that my daughter was not injured, or else I would be seeking legal action against Wicked Peel. read more

I am glad to have come back and report the service was GREAT... fast, friendly and everything came out as expected. The pizza... every other pizza joint in the SW corner of the valley is either delivery cardboard or buffet style cardboard. So nice to have a pizza joint that is local and authentic and delivers on good, quality NY style pizza. Also, try to save some room for dessert... it's an orgy in your mouth. You're welcome. What a horrible experience! I ordered a glass of Rose, and when served it didn't taste good and was warm (mind you I am extremely versed in wines & travel regularly to wineries) when I shared that I thought it was to warm I was treated so rudely by the bartender (owners daughter) suggested I put ice in it & walked off... the wine was taken away. I ordered a beer instead to ensure that I was still paying for alcohol. Regardless of feeling the way I was treated was wrong I chose to try & let it go and enjoy our meal which was definitely sub par. When I received my bill both drinks were on it. When asked for the Rose to be removed, the owner came over and was extremely loud so all customers could hear her! Saying is 'there a problem'!?! I shared with her my experience & how I was treated. She said that once alcohol had been served to your table in Utah that it can't be sent back??? The wine glass was still full? Regardless, to argue with her about the wine was pointless even though I was the customer. Not only was the wine awful but the way we were treated was inexcusable and horrible.
