This place is amazing. It's one thing when you have food that's good but when you have customer service like a place like this, it changes the whole experience! I have never felt more comfortable and welcome at any other restaurant. The decor is such a cool twist on modern industrial. The vodka pizza was decent, but the garlic fromaggi is delish. Its perfect for garlic lovers! The only downside is that it is extremely greasy. However, they do make one of the best thin crusts I have ever had. As a person who loves leftovers, I would recommend not taking any of the pizzas home. This was a super fun restaurant! The atmosphere was so cool and the pizza was super good! The crust was nice a thin, but not too crunchy. My favorite was the old world, but the pesto chicken was a close second! The only downside was it took quite a while to get seated, but we were a big group. We gave Wicked Peel a try tonight and it was awesome! Might be the best Pizza I've had in Utah. Ordered through door dash and it was still amazing after being delivered. Even the kids loved it. We had a large pepperoni and the garlic formaggi pizza. We've been searching for a NY style pizza here and this is it. I'm sure some New Yorkers will argue that but I don't care. I've had a lot of pizza in my days, being from Chicago, loving Italian food and living in Vegas. Since I've been in Salt Lake I've also had quite a bit and I must say Wicked Peel comes in in the top 5 list. I will admit I don't visit as often as I'd like because they're pricey, but man do they make a good pie! The crust is my favorite, well seasoned, crunchy and slightly chewy. My go-to toppings are the Italian sausage (extra) with fresh basil and a drizzle of ricotta! I tried their breaded fried cheese triangles they were meh. I have not tried any pastas there, yet because I've been stuck in their pizza pies! I'll update with pics next time I go. read more

One and done! Their websitesbstates that they have TV's for sports so we went to watch football and eat pizza. We were told that they have not had any TV's for over 2 years but we decided to eat anyway. Bad choice on our part, while the wood fired crust was good thesauce for the pizza was bland with no flavor. We also had mozerella triangles which were soggy with grease and the marinara dipping sauce also had no flavor and was as bland as could be. Waiter was good and attentive and said he would make it up on our next visit but the food was overpriced and bland so there will not be a next visit for us. read more

I wish I could give 0 stars. We went here a while back and my daughter's pizza was burnt. Yes, I know the style of pizza sometimes has burnt edges or bubbles in the crust that burn, but this was BURNT. We asked the waitress if we could have it redone and she sent the owner over. She told us that was the kind of pizza it was and that she wouldn't fix it. We had 2 other pizzas that looked completely different so we pointed that out. We asked her to fix the one, especially since it was my young daughter's. She said she wouldn't and then told us to leave if we didn't like it. Well this was unpleasant. I called the restaurant and was talking to someone names Carson with a question(he was polite) I was placed on hold and a lady came on the phone who just said hello twice and then quickly hung up because apparently she couldn't hear me say hello back. I called back and said I was on hold and got hung up on. The same lady who did not state her name said that she tried to talk to me but I didn't answer so she hung up. She then said we cancelled my order and hung up on me instantly without giving me a second to talk or ask any questions. Worst experience ever! I would give zero stars if that was an option. We went to wine night to celebrate my birthday and the service was horrible & the staff was even worse. We had been there for an hour an 15 minutes before we were ever served our main course and never got the second wine flight or even our waters refilled. When we complained and asked for our drinks we were told we were acting belligerent and told to leave, although their bartender was the only person swearing and a man on staff made demeaning comments to my husband. I have never encountered such disrespectful, horrible behavior from multiple people at a business. To top it off, we were greatly over charged for the whole meal. We had been loyal customers in the past, but will never be back after the way we were treated. Save yourself the frustration and support a more deserving restaurant in the area. read more

Tried a variety of menu items as we were a larger group. Food meh- Server excellent. Manager was aggressive to staff and not approachable when a concern was brought to her attention. Very unprofessional and quite shocking. I will never be back. Mention to the server that the Alfredo seemed watered down, maybe from the pasta not drained completely. Didn't eat the pasta, ate the pizza, it was ok. The pasta was not removed from the check, manager/owner came to table and asked defensively "what's wrong with the pasta?" I explained.. she said angrily "all the ingredients are measured." It was down hill from there, she actually followed us out of the restaurant trying to argue with our party. Hands down the best pizza in the valley. From the opening Cheesy bread to the dessert pizza it was all amazing and I cannot wait to return. The owners are savvy enough to name the place after the tool used to pull pizza from hot ovens and you can feel that experience coming through in every dish. Even the marinara sauce for the mozzarella sticks was far better than what you are used to getting. Whether you stay with the standard Pepperoni or get adventurous with the Wicked Vodka you will not be disappointed with any of their pizzas. They know what they are doing with the wood fire oven as well and each crust was done perfectly, no over-charring or burned tastes like some other places. These are New York style pizzas, hand tossed, great outer edge crust but thin enough and cut large enough to fold in half for eating. My husband called in to place an order and was asked to be placed on hold. He was on hold for maybe 5 min and hung up, waited 15 min and called back. He was asked to be placed on hold again and he complied. He had waited for quite some time and decided to stay on hold. He then went to the restaurant, ordered, got his pizza and came home all before they took him off hold to help him. He told them what he had done and that they had him on hold for 33 min! This is a great place for family get togethers or just a casual lunch. As far as the pizza goes it was great, served quickly, and they have a great variety to choose from. I went with The Patriot and found that the 11" was a great size, although the crust was little burned and may have ended up more crispy than intended. The entrees are a little pricy, but I would definitely go again with family or friends read more
