Laurie Howard has tons of experience and knowledge. It's very obvious that she love what she does! I had old, tired hair down to my waist and decided I wanted a change. I wanted to donate my hair, get a new and fun cut, and a new color to change things up. I showed her what I was interested in and she explained what colors work best with my skin tone and what cut works with my face shape. She took it from there. I came out looking and feeling younger and brighter than I have in a long time! She even took care of the donation so I didn't have to this time! I've tried many salons around the area and have had marginal results. This salon is awesome and super fun - the ladies aren't pretentious but welcoming and treat you the way you should be treated. Laurie does an amazing job coloring and cutting my hair -I couldn't be happier. You contacted me only once by leaving a message in my Yelp profile. I emailed you back right away. I actually emailed you twice and my emails went ignored. I am a real customer whose hair (and friend's hair) were thoroughly messed up by your employee. Of course you won't find half a name and 1 initial in your payment records! If you wanted to contact me you could have responded to my emails or messaged me on Yelp. That would have been better than ignoring my message after asking me to contact you. You bothered to post an update to save face for the salon but couldn't be bothered to actually contact me or actually have me come back in. I'm sure some of your other employees do fine work. I came in for a consultation with Gina to get my color and cut fixed after a salon in the Heights hacked my hair and ruined the color. Gina & Laurie were professional, courteous, and educated me on what had happened and explained every step for how they were going to fix my hair. Gina was able to get me in the same day and work her magic. My hair now looks healthy and the color is corrected- the cut looks more flattering and not like it was hacked with a machete anymore. Worst hair experience I have ever had. Not only was I there for an eternity, my hair dresser was distracted the whole time, and I was left with unfinished damaged hair. Also, after another client left the salon, all the employees trashed talked her for a good 30 minutes. There is no telling what they said about me after I left, knowing they opening discuss their clients in front of other clients. Save your money, go somewhere with skill and moral. read more

First visit today and I will never go anywhere else, ever. Laurie performed miracles on my hair today. She knows what she's doing and knows how to work with thin hair.
