This was honestly back in 2018, but I still remember my experience with this dealership and saw this dealership come up again so decided to write this review. Place sucks. Blonde lady up front was terrible. Saw a BMW I liked and drove 40 minutes to check it out cash ready. Told her I'm gonna have my buddy that works at jiffy lube across the stress (literally 2 min drive) put it on the lift and she said no I can't do that, I said okay I'll just take it for a spin. Went anyways and go figure my buddy found leaking oil, blown gasket, and repairs that'd cost more than what the car was selling for. Bullet dodged. No thanks to the blonde lady up front. read more

I wish to give zero stars if possible. Saw a '99 Camry with 156k miles in good exterior condition, clean report with no accidents. Visited the dealership, checked the car, had engine check and brake lights on. The lady at the reception (Leya or whatever her name was) said that the vehicle doesn't have any problem other than an AC issue. She was rushing from the start to the end and said that the car was serviced recently but didn't have any records for it. Told me that they would give a $200 discount for it with an unknown AC issue and the out-the-door price would be $3600. Test drive went well but the lady didn't allow me to inspect it at an auto repair shop. Being desperate to buy a car, I took it. Two inspections in two days proved the car to be an absolute wreck from the inside. Completely rusted braking system and fuel lines, leaks everywhere, and the car took a while to stop making it very unsafe to drive. Repair costs were not worth it at the point for such an old car so I contacted for taking the car back. All they could do is offer $1000 for it. All this happened in the space of five days. I understand the research behind the price but a customer's safety should be an absolute priority. How can you put a car for sale and allow it for a test drive with engine and brake issues? None of this was mentioned in the car sale description. In the end fighting for my own fair money was exhausting and I gave the car back in a week. They will defend themself by pointing out the customer's lack of knowledge but is it greater than safety? Services like these would take someone's life someday just to earn a few thousand dollars. I have seen some other reviews from dissatisfied customers and I won't be surprised to see they reply to my review with some illogical argument to make their point. To others, stay away from such dealerships so that you don't learn this lesson the hard way. It is wise to put some more money and buy better cars from brand authorized dealerships. In the end, Widerange LLC has a wide range of shitty cars, so stay away from it! read more

Tried calling this dealer today. Asked about a vehicle that a buddy showed me. I asked once and she replied "What". Second time I let her know a buddy sent me the add and I wanted to know if it was still available. She started talking to someone else. She then replied "what did you need" I started to say the same thing when she yelled at me "Yes it is here". I had to hang up. I have never been treated so rudely. Especially when all I wanted to do is buy there product. Not at all surprised after reading multiple reviews from multiple sites. Horrible customer service. The woman was extremely rude. No customer service skills what so ever. I asked to test drive a car and she asked me if I saw the price. What kind of question is that? Then continued to tell me prices are not negotiable. I test drove a car that smelled horrible, had a dry rotted tire and brakes were iffy, so didn't drive far. I contacted dealer Thursday last week said I wanted to see vehicle said I couldn't cause closed Friday sat put app end didn't hear back till Monday evening would have bought Friday. Got financed texted me Tuesday I was with a customer myself she sold truck before I could make plans to get over there .I have been in auto business 40 yrs never treated so poorly in my life won't recommend anyone buying there at all . I purchased a vehicle from this LLC and it turned out being a nightmare. They would not let me test drive the car was interested in until I went to the bank showing I was serious about the vehicle. Clamming that it was so nice and low miles they did not want it being test drivin much. after three weeks the engine started ticking real bad. On my way in to have it looked at a car in traffic said my back tires were wobbling. Turns out the cam is totally wore out in the engine. They used valve quieting additive so you wouldn't here it. For the wobbles the car had the wrong model breaks on it which made a couple of the screws were sticking out so that the rims were not on straight. The car was an expensive premium price and I got stuck with a Bill of $7,000 to fix it, Which I don't have because I just spent cash on a scam car that cost $15,000. read more

I would strongly urge anyone looking for a positive experience while looking for a quality used vehicle to look elsewhere. I was at this dealership on March 29th, 2018 at approximately 10:00 am to look at a light blue 2012 Nissan Juke (no not for me) that was advertised at $7,495. First impressions were terrible. The weather was rainy and the lot was late getting open so we had to circle around a few times waiting on the salesperson to move cars and allow potential clients onto the lot. Once finally on the lot there was NO customer parking and you had to just park where you could find a spot. Plus the lot was over filled with vehicles. When I say the lot was packed I mean this tiny little lot was so crowded that it reminded me of a bunch of fat guys on free donuts day at Long's Bakery. I understand having a healthy inventory and wide selection, but this actually prevented potential customers from walking around a vehicle they may be interested in and checking it out from every angle. The salesperson (a w/f with blonde & pink hair) knew NOTHING about the car other than the year, miles, and the fact she thought it was "cute". I asked about engine size and condition; she didn't know. I asked about the transmission; she didn't know. I asked about a few different options I knew were available on some models and she did not know if they were on this particular vehicle either. Aside from not being helpful she was also a bit pushy asking right away if we needed financing or if we would be paying cash. After moving the car so we could walk around it and a quick test drive through the neighborhood I noted the car had a few cosmetic issues that were strangely absent in the online photos (weird how that happens) and the car had a few potential mechanical concerns. I noted these as we drove along and planned to point them out after the test drive. Sadly, based on the earlier interaction, I didn't have a lot of confidence the salesperson would be able to address my concerns. Returning to the lot I noticed another female employee had arrived and the two were sitting at their desks chatting. After a minute or two the salesperson we were talking with earlier asked what we thought of the vehicle. I advised her I thought it was likely just fine and was interested in talking more about it. Based on the cosmetic issues and concerns I noted while walking around the car and driving it I felt the asking price of $7,495 was a bit high and said so. I asked the salesperson what their best cash price, including sales tax and any fees, was while reiterating I was looking for an "all in" cash price. The salesperson said her "all in" price for the vehicle was $8,100. Actually what she said was "I could probably let it go for $8,100". I was more than a bit surprised that she gave me the full asking price plus sales tax and about $80 in fees as their "best price" for a cash customer. However, I honestly believed it was just an attempt to begin the negotiation process. I noted my concerns with the vehicle and talked about the fact that price was full asking + tax + fees and not much of a "best price". This is where the experience REALLY started to go down hill quickly. The salesperson became quite rude and stated something to the effect of "Well, we just lowered that price from $7,995 so it's a really good deal" when I noted the asking price was $7,495. To this I replied "Okay, that may be, but I don't know that and now you're asking $7,495 and I'm interested in talking about it. The salesperson, in a condescending tone, asked me what I thought was fair. Figuring a good starting point was a few hundred below asking and they pay the sales tax (about $500) I said I was thinking closer to the $7,000 range out the door suspecting we would meet around $7,200 - $7,300 cash and call it a day. At this the salesperson's co-worker laughed out loud and stated to me "You're crazy, there's no way". The salesperson became a little hostile and raised her voice saying she still had to pay sales tax and there was no way she was letting the car go for that. Realizing there was no point in continuing to negotiate to reach a deal based on their unprofessional behavior my son and I thanked them for our time and started to walk out the door. As we were doing so I could hear them remarking back and forth about how ridiculous my offer was with me and my son both still standing in the office less than 20' from them. The car is still on the lot more than a week later. Based on the lack of knowledge and professionalism exhibited by the staff of this lot, all during an approximate 30 - 40 minute interaction, I'm guessing there are a lot of people who walk away from here refusing out of sheer principle to pay any price for a car from Widerange LLC. read more

Buyers Beware. Very rude, unprofessional. Bought Mercedes. Electrical problems immediately. Never fixed. Major Oil leak. Cleaned oil but did not fix the problem even though was told it was repaired. This dealership is nothing but scammers and have an excuse for everything. In a very short period of time of purchasing vehicle had to replace alternator, serpentine belt, battery, tires, and tie rods. Still dealing with the electrical and oil problem. Went along with someone who purchased a car. Widerange offers decent cars at pretty good prices, but I left with a bad taste in my mouth. The business is poorly run. 3 stars is generous. The owner is obviously cutting corners to pinch pennies. The inside of the dealership is bare bones: white walls, a couple of desks, and some chairs. There was only one saleswoman working on a busy Saturday afternoon taking care of all the sales and showings. After I let her know that the bathroom was out of soap the saleswoman joked that the owner is so cheap he won't buy soap or trash bags, and both had been out for days. Gross. The cars were not detailed inside, no prices or information were listed on the outside (though they are online), and some had no wiper fluid to clean off the wintery windshields on our test drives (and none around to refill it, we asked). No car wash was provided with a sale. The saleswoman Heather was very unprofessional. Joked inappropriately, told us about personal medical information, interrupted sales to talk with and look up information for new customers, talked quickly and in circles, etc. All this meant the sale paperwork took two or three times longer than necessary to finish. We were very ready to leave. The cars seem fairly priced, but I'd hesitate to go back because of the way the business is run. Their main concern is obviously making money and not taking care of their customer. I'd be nervous about the long-term quality of the vehicle they were selling me. read more

I didn't even want to give them 1 star but since that is the minimum it will let you do and leave a review I will give them the 1 star. I walked in to look at a couple different cars they had on their lot and found 1 that I wanted to test drive so I went inside to test drive it and that's when I decided I would not be buying a car from this lot. I went in and told the lady that I wanted to test drive the car. She instantly asked me if I would be financing or paying cash. When I told her I was paying cash she rattled off the cash price for the car and that it would have 9% sales tax and a dealer fee attached to that price (which I had already expected because this is not the 1st time I've bought a used car) and asked if I could do that and I told her if the car was worth it we could then talk about price. She proceeded to add everything up and give me the total price out the door and asked if that was still in my budget. I told her once again that I would be willing to pay what the car was worth but I needed to test drive it. As she was getting the keys she made several slick comments insinuating that I could not afford the car and walked out the back door with the keys to the car and pulled it up to the door. By this time I felt insulted and didn't even want to buy a car from them. The lady was so rude and acted like I was bothering her that I will never step foot back on this lot. read more

After a day of looking at so-so cars in my price range all over Central Indiana we made our way to Widerange and were flabbergasted with the quality of the vehicles on offer at my price point. Other cars we had seen were scratched up, missing interior parts, had bad carfax reports and rude sales people, but Widerange was a breath of fresh air. The car was spotless, fully loaded and the saleswoman was absolutely lovely. Their mechanic was out that day and couldn't get the headlight repaired (the single defect on the car, it really was impeccable) before we left so she gave me the part and deducted the cost of having it repaired at home. It was a wonderful end to a previously stressful experience and I will be recommending them highly in the future. read more

This happened about a week ago. I was interested in a car that I saw online so I called the lot to see if they still had it and their hours. They said they opened at 10:00 and I said thank you. After driving about two hours to get to the dealership, it was around 9:45, and they hadn't opened yet. Once they got around to showing up and opening up the lot, we asked if we could look at the car that I saw online. Immediately she said that the car would be $6,500, online it was listed as 5,500 (which was our budget). We looked at the car anyways, it was a 2008 Audi A5, and it was in very bad condition. The front bumper was completely split in half, there was rust on the door, and the inside was very much torn apart. We went inside to ask if we could text drive it. She said "just so you know, it's $6500. Can you do that?" I said that I didn't know if I was willing to go that high and that I wanted to drive it first. She laughed and said it doesn't make sense to let me drive it if I can't go that high. After going back and forth for a while she let us test it. The car took longer than it should have to start and the engine sounded really bad, the driving was the same, just as bad. When we got back she reassured me that you have to let Audi's warm up before you drive them, which isn't true. I talked it over with my Dad and came back in. Before I said anything, she immediately said "it's 6,500". I said that I wouldn't buy it for that and then explained to her the problems that I previously pointed out. I said that I didn't think she would get that much out of it and that I would buy it if she could get me out the door for a thousand dollars less. She laughed at me and said that she guaranteed she would get that much and that someone had previously made a deposit but switched it for a "much" nicer car. I said that she could just be saying that to get me to buy it. She laughed again and said that it was just my opinion. I said thank you and left. I would highly recommend not buying from this lot if you want a good car purchasing experience. At one point she stated that they don't just pick up any car that they can, but based on the condition and the price of that one car, I disagree and would go as far as to say that they are pricing things so high just to hold on. BUYER BEWARE!! My husband bought a car for our college student to commute to and from classes...that was just 4 days ago. The saleswoman, Leah, told my husband the car only had cosmetic damages and the A/C needed re-charged. Imagine our surprise, when we took the vehicle to get serviced only 3 days after purchase and are told the vehicle needs a new transmission, radiator, brake calipers....the list goes on. In other words, the vehicle is unsafe to drive, so my daughter took the vehicle back today for a refund and was told they would not return her money. (The car was paid in cash) This is an unscrupulous, despicable business. Leah is very unprofessional and when confronted with her deceitful practices, she really showed her true colors. You would think a business would do the right thing, but in this so-called business' case, you would be WRONG! read more
