I love their hot dogs when done correctly. The reason that their hot dogs are so good is because the buns are steamed. When we received our food, it was so disappointing that the buns were just taken out of a bag and put the barely warm hot dog in it. Paid for extra cheese on chili cheese fries, yet again another disappointment, barely any cheese. I won't eat at this location again when I'm in town. ​I had the most excellent drive-thru experience here recently--seriously, I can't remember the last time I had such fantastic service at a fast-food spot. ​The employee who took our order and handed out the food was incredibly friendly and talkative. He really made the interaction great. It was clear the staff cared about the order, and I truly believe our food was freshly made. ​For the food, I ordered the mini corn dogs and they were perfectly cooked and super flavorful. The root beer float was gigantic--it had more than enough ice cream, maybe even a little too much root beer! My daughter loved her veggie dog, saying it was well seasoned. A huge bonus: it came with a pickle that was almost as big as the dog itself! ​And finally, a huge thanks for the little extras: the staff was so thoughtful, they even gave a pup cup for our actual dog. Yum yum yum. Hot dogs, chili and ice cream oh my. Great variety of hot dogs, my favorite is the all beef Junk yard dog. They also have pastrami, tasty. Several types of chili cheese fries. Soft served ice cream. Banana split please. Oh yeah they just added tamales, my favorite is the green chili tamale. You lost a long faithful customer. Saw a commercial for the 5 for $5.95. My husband left immediately to go pick that up for us for a treat for dinner. You and your managers told us you no longer had that. REALLY?? I JUST saw the commercial. So, you told him he needed to buy the $10.00 combo...again REALLY? 6 dogs and 3 fries? We don't like your fries unless smothered in your chili. He asked to switch all 3 fries for 1 chili frie, would have been cheaper for you...but nooooo couldn't/wouldn't do it. I haven't been in a Wienerschnitzel for about 10 years. All the sudden after watching an episode of hotdogs from food trucks on the Food Network, I had a craving. When I walked in, I was greeted by the person behind the counter. I informed her that I have not been in a Winerschnitzel for a long time, and will need a little time. She said, okay, but did not offer or asked to see if I needed help with their menu. I asked about their combos and family pack. I also asked to see if I can substitute the regular fries with chili cheese fries. All I got was it is what it is. If I wanted chili cheese fries, I would need to pay for chili cheese fries. I decided to try this place after passing by it almost everyday as an undergrad. When I first got there the staff were super friendly and so nice, something unusually rare in fast food chains. The cashier recommended me to try the street dog and I tried the chili cheese dog as well. I was amazingly suprised and how delicious they both were.
