Finally got a chance to stop by and grab a hotdog from here. Overall very friendly and cool location. There are some tables and chairs for you to seat and eat. I ended up ordering the suicide dog. The toppings were good if you like crunchy chow mien and spicy sauce. Definitely something different and I liked it. I did also get a chili dog to go. Definitely very tasty and under $10 dollars you can get a hotdog and a drink. Only thing was I wish they would put like a street hotdog option like with bacon wrapped around it and peppers. Definitely will be returning to try more.

Pretty damn good. I drove by this place since it was nearby my hotel and was immediately intrigued. All of a sudden, I was craving a chili dog. It was a quick stop through a drive-through, place your order, pay for your food and immediately my chili dog was ready. They basically only have hot dogs, but lots of options. They also have a few tables if you wanna eat it there. My chili dog, which I got just with chili and cheese was delicious and hit the spot. Craving satisfied. Would definitely go back for a quick bite to eat.

Huge hot dog fan here so I was pretty stoaked to see this was across the street from my hotel. Stopped by for lunch and grabbed a hot dog and it was good! Picked up a Chicago hot dog and the service was great. The gentlemen working the counter was very friendly and after take my order, the hot dog was out in about 3 minutes. The hot dog was packed with tomatoes, pickles, red onion, celery and celery salt. The bun and weenier were of great quality. Very tasty hot dog. Got a 7 up with the hot dog and it cost me $9 bucks out the door. If your in the area and craving a hot dog, keep this place in mind. It won't dissapoint. Thanks Brown Bears for the tasty hot dog today, till next time!

I walked up and told the owner that I have been wanting to come here for a while and he says "Well we have been here for 15 years, so you've had plenty of time." I told him that I was a slow burn. We both got a laugh. Hot dogs were incredible! Loved my sauerkraut dog and my son thought that the bacon dog was great. My wife asked me to bring home a Suicide Dog but I failed to see her request for less hot sauce. The owner said it was too spicy for him and she needed to wash her hands after eating it. While driving home, my eyes started to water from the spice from this hotdog. By the time I got home, my eyes were red and it looked like I had been crying. Told my wife it's because I missed her. She didn't buy it, took a fair amount off of the dog and enjoyed the rest. Great place! Great owner! Great food!

I usually don't make reviews but I had to for Brown Bear's hot dogs. Been here a couple of times and I finally brought my family to try it. Our food came out fast and delicious for everyone! My personal favorite is the BBQ dog! The owners are always welcoming whenever we go to order. Would recommend to people who want to try some solid hot dogs and support a family business! S/O to the owner who was a good sport and got in our selfie

I couldn't finish them. They are filling

They serve an excellent hot dog. They are the same size as a Costco hot dog and use great, quality toppings.

I love the chili cheese dog. It's delicious. I get ones with onions, no pineapples. By far one of my favorite things on the menu.

I thought it would be a regular corn dog spot (which I already love), but finding out it was Korean corn dogs made it even better! When we walked in, the first thing I noticed was how clean the place was, always a great sign. There were a few people ahead of us waiting for their orders, but everything is made fresh, so the wait felt reasonable. I ordered the spicy corn dog with spicy beef, and my husband went for the spicy mozzarella corn dog along with dirty fries. The dirty fries, tater tots topped with Flamin' Hot Cheeto dust and a spicy sauce, were definitely a fun twist. Watching him eat his corn dog was entertaining enough because the cheese pull was amazing. I liked my spicy dog with spicy beef, though the spicy sauce was a bit too sweet for my taste. My husband really enjoyed his, though, so it definitely depends on your flavor preferences. Overall, we had a great experience, and the quality and freshness stood out. This won't be my last visit, next time I'm trying the potato dog and the kimchi fries!

I decided to try this restaurant while passing through Fresno, and I'm so glad I did. The reviews…read morespoke highly not only of the food, but also of the people--and they were absolutely right. From the moment we walked in, Cindy and the entire team at The Berrock Shop welcomed us with genuine kindness and warmth. The environment was so warm, comfortable, and inviting that after a long drive, it immediately felt like a place where you could relax and enjoy yourself. It's clear they care deeply about the experience they create for every customer. The food was delicious, thoughtfully prepared, and exactly what we needed after being on the road. But what truly stood out was the hospitality. It's rare to find a place where you feel less like a customer and more like family, and that kind of experience stays with people. This is actually my very first Yelp review, which hopefully says something about how strongly I feel about this restaurant. I will gladly go out of my way to stop here again. And for those who live in Fresno, I would absolutely encourage you to support this local business. Restaurants with this kind of heart, care, and welcoming atmosphere deserve to be celebrated and supported by the community.

I had three items off their menu, the patty melt, chicken pot pie, and the shredded roast berrock…read more The patty melt was the least offensive thing I ordered, being just alright. it was a bit overcooked at the edges, so the crust had a burnt taste. Patty and onions were decent. Pot pie was edible, but not great. The whole thing was dry, and the crust is a quickbread crust instead of a pie crust, which made it worse. They try to make up for it by giving you an extra serving of gravy on the side, but if you know your food is dry you should fix it instead of putting a bandaid over it. The Berrock was the absolute worst. I bit into it and it just tasted like salt. I thought maybe it was a fluke so I got into the meat portion of it and took another bite. Pure freaking salt. It's like someone decided salt is the only necessary seasoning for their food. I couldn't even taste the flavor of the meat itself over the taste of salt. I ended up throwing it away after two bites. If the best this shop can do is "it's okay" then I've zero reason to come back.
