I could hear her just fine, so we tried a couple times before I was asked to pull up. Apparently they were having issues with the box. I went with an Oreo shake that caught my eye. It was around $7 and was really creamy and thick. I love that it had oreo pieces in it. Only thing is the straws are super cheap I ditched it. Yesterday, I went to buy a funnel cake at the National City location. I had really been looking forward to trying them, but it was a horrible experience. The staff is very rude. I said hello, but no one answered; when I placed my order, the entire staff acted terribly--they handed me my order without saying a word, just opening the window, setting it on the ledge, and closing it again. In the parking lot, I opened the bag to try the funnel cake, and things got even worse; it was all a jumbled mess and raw. I went back to tell them, but they snatched the bag out of my hands and slammed the window shut with a nasty attitude. They kept me waiting for about 15 minutes without telling me what they were going to do. I decided to just leave and let them keep my money; I was already very upset and didn't want to get any angrier. Stay away from this location. I recently learned that Wienerschnitzel restaurants are independently owned, and unfortunately, this location is the worst. Rating should really start at 0 and have negative stars! I visited the Highland Avenue location in National City, CA, at approximately 11:24 PM and was met with an incredibly disappointing experience. I ordered two of the $6 deals, which included two chili hot dogs and one chili cheese fries. Not only was the food cold, but the service was the worst I have ever experienced as a Wienerschnitzel customer. Two employees were present--a man named (Eric) at the register and a woman preparing food. When I received my order, Eric gave me only three mustard and three ketchup packets. I politely asked for a few more, only to be told there would be an additional charge of $1. I asked how many extra packets I would receive for that charge, but Eric could not provide a clear answer and stumbled through his response. When I pressed further, he finally answered in a rude and condescending tone, saying: "I don't know--whatever I pick up with my hand." That was enough for me to decline. By then, my appetite was gone. The food was cold, the interaction was unprofessional, and I felt completely disrespected. I ended up throwing away the meal--nearly $20 wasted. This experience was beyond disappointing and does not reflect the service or quality I have come to expect from other Wienerschnitzel locations. The restaurant location was very clean and the tables outside with the busses close by you could get your order and still be able to meet the bus. The menu boards they surprised me with the banner flags and the small sign that said foster freeze Ice Cream I knew that the Wienerschnitzel had something special planned. I looked at the menu boars they had with the many pictures of the food having to wait with a few others not a bad line when the guy took my order and he let me know about the specials. I had ordered a 12 pack of mini corndogs, and a 6 pack of Jalapeno peppers they were hot dogs with a large Pepsi to go. The whole order had cost me a total of 18.60 with tax when you haven't had lunch the closest place to get food and not go hungry on the way home for the day was the New Years Day. The food was nice and hot and well-cooked and the same flavor of the first days when Wienerschnitzel had finger foods and some of the best starters. For one of the best locations and the traffic flow that was going through the Drive Thru they were doing cars and getting them taken care in a few minutes this is one quick location. As a Yelp Reviewer I have found many Hot Dog locations and yet there are not many that have the best menus and the pricing that the Wienerschnitzel locations have and the combos they serve with the best drinks and the cold foster freeze Ice Cream to go along with them. read more

We hadn't been here in some time so we decided to stop by. I use to love this place but now it seems they're very overpriced. No more options to order the chili cheese dog, chili cheese burger and chili cheese fries in a combo. I got a combo of 6 chili dogs with three fries. It would have cost an extra 60 sense for each chili dog to add some cheese. As it is they barely added the chili. Every single chili dog looked like this. Just barely a bit of sauce. I use to love these things with their messy chili beans. Honestly I make them better at home but hey we were out and craving. The Mac and cheese does taste delicious but you better hurry up and eat it or it gets hard pretty quickly. Stopped by here for the kids. It's always as expected which is a good thing. It never disappoints when you don't have great expectations, but that said, it ALWAYS meets basic ones. First, I ordered delivery and they didn't include 4 chili cheese dogs. Second, I get that prices have gone up due to many reasons but charging over $5 for a single chili cheese dog that is just a standard hot dog on a standard bun with a slopped on splash of chili and a slice of American cheese is not close to $5. You can actually go to a grocery store and buy an 8 pk of hot dogs, and 8 pk of buns for under $5. This is just plain greedy opportunistic price gouging on the part of the franchisee because they can easily blame tariffs or some other BS! The pickle spears were the standard size cut lengthwise is thin slices and you only get 1/3 of a standard size pickle spear!! Back to the kraut. There should be enough kraut to cover the polish sausage and on one sandwich there was about a tablespoon of kraut while the second sandwich had even less. If I'm gonna pay over $1 for some kraut, then give me some freaking kraut!! At worst this Wienerschnitzel location is operated by thieves! So I just for out the gym and decided to get some food, I usually avoid winersnizel cause I came one time and ask about the special, this dude lied to me saying there wasn't any, and gave me an attitude, but today I drive by and saw their daily deal ( jalapeño poppers) so I decided to get it.
