The food has always been good at Schlotzsky's in Beaumont and in Lumberton locations. Except for today. My husband and I went to the Lumberton location. He got the small Original and I got the small Beef Bacon Smokecheesy. We ordered it to go. When we got home, we discovered that a juicy pickle had been put in the bag. The little plastic bag that it was in did not have a seal of any kind and pickle juice had leaked out in the paper bag and into the carpet of the car. Glad it wasn't placed on my fabric seat. We unwrapped our sandwiches and were shocked at how little ingredients was in the sandwiches. It almost looked like there was nothing but the buns. I knew there would not be veggies in my sandwich, but I did expect to have a decent amount of beef, bacon and cheese. My husband's Original was ordered without onions. There was very little cold cuts or veggies on the sandwich. It seems the prices are increasing, but the product is decreasing. We have to drive from another town to go to Schlotzsky's at either location. It appears that we will need to drive a little further to Arby's to get the meat!! read more

I love Schlotzsky's but this location is terrible. The drive-thru girl was flat out rude! She actually yelled "sorry?" As though she couldn't hear me as I was ordering. She clearly hates her job and it shows. We weren't offered any additional items such as chips or drinks and every time I ordered another item she she would abruptly ask me "is that all?!!!" We waited at the drive-thru window for our order around 10 minutes. She basically tossed the bag into my car window. Our sandwiches were cold upon arriving to our location which was about 10 minutes down the highway. We will avoid this location from now on. All around disappointing! read more

I always went to the Beaumont Schlotzky's and loved it, so when I heard a few years ago they were making one in lumberton, I was really excited. The food there is great, and the service is amazing too . I never have to wait more than 5 mins for my food around dinner time. They are super fast so I can eat quickly if I'm just really hungry and need something good but fast. read more

Okay, normally Schlotzsky's in Beaumont has always been a reliable go-to for sandwich or a salad. Service is always spot on, restaurant is clean and staff is courteous. Yesterday we tried the one in Lumberton after church. Experience was horrible ... food not up to Schlotzskys standards and service was shy of pitiful. We ordered two sandwiches and a salad. Though the place was not yet crowded with the typical after-church rush--perhaps now we know why--but it took almost 10 minutes to get my salad. Unfortunately we waited another 10 minutes for the sanwhiches before my wife went to the counter to ask. There were our sandwiches sitting there. When the hostess was asked if they were ours she reacted as if she was being bothered. No excuse for bad service and no reason why food should deviate at a chain like Schlotzsky's. I really hate to leave bad reviews for restaurants because I've worked in restaurants and I know how it is. But something needs to change at this location. 9/10 times my order is wrong!! I don't know if it's just because there's a bunch of younger kids working that don't pay attention, or are not being trained properly, but It's so frustrating. I love the bbq chicken pizza, but in my option.. Beaumont makes it wayyyy better. Lots more sauce and toppings. I will say the manager I spoke with tonight was very polite and wrote me down for a free salad for next time. Ordered Schlotzsky's via Waitr, 2 broccoli cheese soup ice cold, they didn't even try. Also ordered flatbread that comes with avocado spread throughout. Avocado was 2 slices placed in the middle. Schlotzsky's must have been real busy for them not to have the time heat soup or dice up avocado. Maybe since it was delivery they didn't bother. read more

I called last night from the signal light at 421 & Hwy 69 at approx. 8:50pm and ask if they were still open, the girl working said yes and nothing more, I told her I was at the light and that I would be right there. When I pulled in the parking lot I parked went to the doors and realized that I had to go through the drive-thru. By the time I got to the drive-thru ordering stand & pushed the button it was 8:59-9pm The same girl that I spoke to a few minutes prior said I'm sorry we closed at 9 o'clock. I said I just called you and she was like I'm sorry very rudely. Why couldn't she have told me that they closed at 9pm on the phone??? Could have saved me a trip there and all the hassle. I won't ever go to that establishment again. If that's the type of people they want to employ then it's not for me. read more

Three stars given due to staff not obeying health guidelines by drinking from soda cup then placing it very near customer's drinks near drive thru window. The salads are nauseating and are not filling. I don't know if it was the quality or particular combinations of foods, but I do not care for them at all. Years ago, I used to get their macaroni and cheese, which was the best ever. Now, they only serve it with other items in it. Huge disappointment. I've tried other items that my boyfriend or family have ordered, but I've never been particularly impressed. You need to put the mediterranean pizza back on the menu. Your Beaumont location is good about making it if you ask. But I went to your Lumberton location and they said they don't know what goes on it. How can you not call the Beaumont location and get what goes on it. This is my new favorite deli in town. I had forgotten how good Schlotzsky's was, because I had not eaten at one in years. However, I tried out the new location in Lumberton and was thrilled by it. I have now eaten here multiple times in the last month or two. They have an excellent gluten-free pizza and gluten-free bun for their sandwiches that works with my dietary restrictions. read more
