My $5 caramel sundae while in the drive thru
    Shawna C.

Been craving a caramel sundae all day. Stopped at the competitor in a nearby city on my way home from work and they were out of ice cream and had no cold desserts. My sister suggested wienerschnitzel saying they are really good. I was headed to the competitor when my daughter said actually, I'd like to get food at wienerschnitzel. So, I was torn. Do I get the sundae I been craving all day or try the one my sister loves. I decided to try wienerschnitzel. It was $1.50 more than the competitor, but the photo looked good. So, we ordered my sundae and my daughter's food. Well, at first glance, I was disappointed that the sundae didn't look like the picture; it looked smaller than the picture. I sent pics to my sister while waiting in the drive thru and she said that's smaller than what she receives at the wienerschnitzel in her area. Crying. Then, I taste my $5 sundae and it tastes great. I pretty much inhaled it. I dunno, maybe 6-7 spoonfuls. And, it's gone. Thankfully, it hit the spot. This, the 2 stars. But, 3 point reduction for not looking like the photos. Won't order it again. I was telling my daughter, I should just go to the gym next time i crave it cause clearly they wanted me to cut my calories.

And one of the ways you do that is to buy yourself a smoked dog topped with gobs of pulled pork, onion shreds, and a deep-fried pickle on top. Then you squirt some tangy aioli atop the whole deal. Once you get that, you can ask for some epic bacon Mac & Cheese as a side and your meal is complete. The service was excellent as the guys kept making some great suggestions that didn't have the air of the same 'ole inane chitchat. Plus, when you throw in some free bacon mac how could I think the folks working here are anything but stellar? All in all, this is a great hidden nook if you're in the mood for some great dogs with a decidedly Southern twist.

A nice gentleman told me he makes the best hotdogs around. I ignored two huge red flags: no people in line for these special dogs and the $19.00 price tag for a hotdog. I took the bait and ordered one. My only way to describe what I paid twenty hard earned dollars for is garbage. Cold bun, a lukewarm over cooked hotdog, wrapped in bacon, smoked to a crisp, stuffed with fries, cheese and sour cream. The hotdog was drier than a piece of beef jerky. Oh yeah, it was covered with dried out Korean beef on top. Again, dry and lukewarm. Tasteless. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

We ordered a chili cheese dog, chili cheese pastrami fries and a pastrami dip and two small fountain drinks. The total was $47.80. The pastrami dip was smaller than I remember and it was really soggy. I would recommend getting the dip on the side. It was 95 degrees outside and we were hoping it would be nice and cool inside. That was not the case. It was pretty warm inside the restaurant. Restaurant was clean though. The employees are on top of it when it comes to cleaning. After ordering we got a receipt with our order number. They were calling out the numbers, but it was hard to hear the order numbers being called out. One of us ended up having to stand by the cashier in order to hear our number being called out. The fries were a big portion and three of us could not finish them so we decided to take the rest home. I went up to one of the employees for a to go container. She said she would give me something. I waited and waiting. Four people were then helped before me that were behind me. The female employee never gave me a to go container. Another guest ended up getting one for me when she herself asked a different employee for a to go container for her fries. I honestly have no desire to go back anytime soon.

The store front is easy to find as they have a large visible sign showing "CHURROS" near the street. The items can get pricey, as I recently picked up just an ice cream with churros and bag of churros which ended up at $20. There's a $1 charge on credit cards which also seems a bit like charging the customer on any business transaction. The location is a decent size so it could definitely fit groups and such. Unfortunately my visit did not really go well, as after ordering and receiving a buzzer to let us know when the order is complete, we waited for over 10 minutes to have other customers place orders after us and receive their orders before our buzzer went off. Eventually, one of the associates noticed we had been waiting for a while and came to us to ask if we had placed an order already. For some reason, the buzzer was not programmed to our order, and I ended up asking the cashier for my receipt to confirm that my order was placed. This was frustrating as we had originally entered the store as the only guests and 3 other parties had entered the store after us and received their orders before us. Fortunately, the associates closest to us near the pick up order section noticed that we had been waiting for an extended period of time and came out to ask what we had ordered to help us make our missing order. I have no idea how our order was missed but it was not a great experience to wait in a store with no AC (only the front doors propped open for ventilation) and there was no real apology for the mishap. However, we're very appreciative of some of the staff members noticing that we had been patiently waiting for our order.
