By Thor's hammer, this is the best sausage I have ever had! As I did with others, I scoped out some trucks attending WonderCon 2019 and came across the amazing looking dogs served up at the Viking Truck. Saturday I hopped in a super long line around noon but it moved pretty quick. I was up to order in maybe 10-15 minutes and the food was ready after 5 minutes! I ordered the Broadsword which is a 1/2 pound Hungarian sausage with sauerkraut, red cabbage, bacon, cheddar, paprika aioli, and deli mustard. Well, they say size doesn't matter . . . but when you see this sausage, you will forget every Dodger dog you ever ate! This thing is huge! QUE "THAT'S WHAT SHE SAID" JOKES But really, for the price you pay, this one "hot dog" is a meal in it of itself. The sausage is cooked so damn good, it has such an amazing bite and crispy snap, while the interior is plump and juicy. The cabbage and sauerkraut is steamed well with a great crunch; deli mustard has a nice kick; cheese is warm and gooey; bacon is crispy; the aioli is delicious with another hint of "kick" and the bun is thick and soft. Honestly the only "bad" part was actually the bun. I believe it was a pretzel bun and to me it wasn't the right fit. Sure it's big enough to hold the gigantic sausage, but I think it's just too thick when biting into everything. I would definitely order this one again though but would love to try more next time! read more

Giant hot dogs! What's the wurst that could happen?! I've been to this truck several times during my yearly trips to the anaheim convention center. Never disappointed if you're hungry this is the place to go. Don't let it fool you that these are hot dogs, the quality of meat and presentation here is far more than what you can find at typical hot dogs you may find. I ended up getting the broadsword which was a 1/2 pound dog sorted with tasty seasons and bacon. Worth it. The only thing I'd tred lightly for is that they (like most) may be more expensive than normal if a convention or event is going, which of course most trucks do anyway.
