We got 3 specialty dogs, a drink, and chili fries only for 23 dollars which is about average for any other fast food places these days. Located on Redlands Blvd in a plaza. Wanted to pick up something different for my son to eat after school. I thought of Weinerschnitzel because I always bought him food from there when he was younger. He'll be graduating soon, so I thought it would be nice to bring back some old memories for him. I bought a plan corn dog, mini bite 6 piece corn pack and watermelon lemonade drink. My son loved the drink and guzzled that down first. He popped the mini corn dogs down and it was done in a flash. Okay I've been too the Wienerschnitzel in Beaumont and Yucaipa. Beaumont is always amazing with friendly staff, Yucaipa is a hit a miss but still with amazing staff. Redlands is a big fat No! My mom, step dad, and I went today and the lady was so beyond rude it literally had us leaving with our mouths open. So we got the simple ice cream cones, and it literally was smaller than 1/2 an inch above the cone itself. We were joking around and laughing because it wasn't a big deal whatever, we can deal with getting "jipped" one time. Then when for let shoved the cones onto my step dads hand and said with major stuck up attitude, " I actually gave you more than I was suppose too so this is it." The clerk put in the order as al a cart items then only discounted for $6.35. I was overcharged and the coupon was not honored. Last week my husband and I ate some of their chili cheese dogs. We got very sick right after eating them. I called and talked to the shift manager. We were concerned about the chili being dangerous. We thought if we warned them they could start a new batch so kids won't get sick. So we talked to the shift manager and she couldn't care less about my call. She acted like I was wasting her time. I've come to Wienerschnitzel once a month or so for several years. I went through the drive-thru over this last weekend. The lazy girl at the window couldn't be bothered to hand me my drink, she stood there holding my drink inside the window with a braindead look on her face. I had to reach INSIDE the window to get the cup. But, the lazy girl was too lazy to put the lid all the way on the cup, so when I sat back down in my car, the lid popped off spilling lemonade all over me and my brand new car. The lazy girl did the same thing with my second drink, so I had to get out of my car to retrieve it from the lazy girl. Ive come here several times in the last 30 days. I've enjoyed the last few times I've come, so I returned again today expecting the same great meal. The chili cheese fries I ordered had about 20% of the fries covered with chili. I suppose that even a speck of chili and cheese would qualify it as chili cheese fries. Mine looked nothing like any of the pictures. I asked if they could please add some chili to the fries since 80% of the fries had no chili. I was told they would charge me if they did that. But they did offer to make them again. So they threw it out and made a new one. The 2nd one was only slightly better. I normally go to this location and have never had any issues. Customer service has always been good and the staff is pretty nice. Tonight however was a different experience. Staff was friendly, however it appears that there may not have been a manager on duty at around 6:30 this evening. I asked for a Classic Burger aka Deluxe Burger (which has always been a favorite and I was happy when they brought it back). I ordered one with cheese and onions and one with no cheese. I did laugh when the cashier asked me if I wanted a cheese burger with no cheese. I couldn't help myself. I received a patty with a bun and nothing else in it. The cheese burger managed to get the cheese and the onions. No lettuce, no pickles, no special sauce on either. I think there needs to be some additional training. Maybe we didn't get any of the extras because I laughed. Anyway, we were quite disappointed.
