Prices are still reasonable, which already puts them ahead of a lot of burger spots lately. On July 3rd me and my fiancé went to the Habit to grab lunch , after we placed our order the power went out and they were unable to make our order. They said they would write down our information to issue a refund, we called them a few days later and they didn't know what we were talking about . We have contacted customer support multiple times with no luck. Multiple other customers were affected as well. The lack of communication is disappointing and frustrating. Love this habit location! It's in a really busy shopping center, but I can always find a seat indoors or outdoors, and I love the freshness of the food. You can order on a tablet if you prefer not to talk to a human being. My favorite thing on the menu is the tempura green bean fries because they are so crispy and pairs well with ranch. You can also customize your burger if you want it lettuce wrapped or in a certain way. They also have delicious salad options as well. The line was long and only one person was taking orders. It looked like there was a kiosk to order at, but didn't seem to be working. I've been a loyal customer at this location and even supported them back in January when they completely ran out of food. Didn't write a yelp review of this huge mistake. While other customers were walking out, I chose to stay and order because I understood things happen. Unfortunately, loyalty doesn't seem to matter here. Today, I simply asked for a manager's number to discuss being charged for ranch. I've never been charged for ranch with my onion rings or sandwich before, and considering the prices, I don't believe sauces should be an extra charge. The shift manager Jaslyn intervened and returned about five minutes later with Stacy's number, stating, "She's aware of the situation and won't answer you right now, so call another time." That was frustrating enough, but it got worse. Jaslyn told me they've been charging for sauces since the beginning of the year and that there's a sign posted. I politely asked where the sign was because I hadn't seen one, could have been my mistake. Jaslyn looked and couldn't find it. Then she changed her statement to "we had a sign", past tense, and became noticeably rude. She even asked another employee where the sign was and still couldn't produce it, yet continued to respond to me with attitude. To make matters worse, she then attempted to give me a grammar lesson about the word "had" after changing her story. That level of condescension over a simple question about a posted sign is unacceptable. One thing she was correct about: Stacy didn't answer my call. We'll see if she calls back. It's unfortunate because I used to enjoy coming here, but after this interaction, I won't be returning to the Redlands location. We've been coming to this Habit since it opened and the past year or so has truly been so bad? it's not so much the food but the quality has gone down compared to previous years and so has the service, particularly the night shift leads who have the crew clean up and stack chair on tables an hour before closing sweeping and moping while customers wait for food, cleaning the ice cream machine and claiming it's down and snickering with their colleagues about turning away customers. The Chicken and fries weren't the best either, but it's okay. I didn't expect it to be since it's a burger place. The service and staff were nice and polite. The ambiance inside was good, but if you got good weather, I would definitely recommend eating outside because it's nice with everyone just relaxing by the fountains and pond. Reference the attached pictures. The lettuce was incredibly wilted and slimy. The sides are supposed to come with ranch (per online & posted menu) but the Redlands location never includes them and when you ask for them you're met with attitude. I don't like being met with a struggle every time I go to pick up my food. I think my family and I are pretty much done with these chain quick service restaurants. I drove down to the Habit Burger near me in Redlands, CA because I had received an email offer for a free Chicken Club sandwich and the offer was also in my app, so I assumed it was good like usual. But then the manager wouldn't accept it because he said they are a franchise or something like that? But I've gotten other offers there before. So I came back home upset and frustrated. Diane and I ate here for the first time on a Saturday night. The place was packed with patrons, but we scored part of a large high-top table, so stayed warm inside. For the first time ever I decided to order a burger wrapped in lettuce instead of a bun, and found my Char Cheeseburger to be satisfying and very fresh. It was a nice mix of warm meat and cold vegetation. Diane really liked her Crispy Chicken Sandwich, which was moist rather than dry. And regular wiggly French Fries were not very crisp but nevertheless quite good. The restroom and dining room needed some maintenance. But staff members were friendly and helpful. I have to admit I had never had a burger at the Habit before today. Their Tempura Green Beans have always held my attention and for good reason; They're totally yummy and craveable. Today I had a burger. I went for simple; a single patty, mayo, ketchup, tomato and pickles in a lettuce wrap. IT WAS DELICIOUS!! I worked at the home of the "protein style" burger years ago. It was great. But this is better. I purposely left off the grilled onions because I wanted to see if this burger could stand on its own two feet and it did. Burger, veggies a bit of condiments and we were there. Best burger in years. Thanks Habit! I will be back!! And the folks working there were nice, efficient and seemed to enjoy their work.
