Seriously, it was great and i hadn't even gotten my hair done yet! When I came back for my appointment, despite the ORANGE that would NOT leave my hair, Rianna kept me optimistic and explained every step to make sure I would not be disappointed if the orange decided to sit in my locks forever. What made the experience truly enjoyable was the conversation. I've sat in my share of salon chairs, and many MANY times, your hair stylist wont talk to you or connect with you and get to know you, much less explain the process going on above your head. Rianna and her super kind assistant Abby were beyond friendly, got personal and candid about their lives and made me feel like I was amongst friends, which I was desperately in need of. Best part of all, the orange was CANCELED! They turned my orange hair into beautiful ashy silver hair. I nearly cried tears of joy. Everyone working there was super sweet, helpful and they act like a big family. The whole atmosphere just screams inclusivity and love, what more could you ask for? I can't wait for my follow up appointment and I could not be happier that I left my home and ventured to this place. No regrets and not a single negative comment.

Joanne was so friendly and knowledgeable, I decided to get my hair done too and I loved it. When I heard she was opening up this location I was so excited. Since then myself and my two daughters have gone multiple times. Our hairstyles are always on point. The weaves are undetectable and they last for a long time. They also have quality hair for a great price! The prices for the service is also very reasonable. They do hair for all ages. I'm in my 40's and my daughters are 22 and 12. Since we have been going the gift and the curse is that our natural hair has grown like weeds so we don't get the sew ins as often as we use too. I love the fact that we are not only given the service, but educated on protective styles and products that help our hair grow as well as not break off. The service is AWESOME! Positive and fun environment, energetic staff, no inappropriate conversations or drama. Very classy place. They offer you snacks and beverages as well as show customer appreciation with discounts and giveaways. They even have a private area for those who may not be comfortable getting the service or consultation in the open, and they also have an area to help you pick the hair that suits your needs. The location is convenient and no matter who's chair you sit in you are bound to leave happy. The customer service is on point! Can you tell I recommend this place!

Unprofessionalism. The Salon employees people who act like they are doing you a favor by doing your hair. They charge outrageous prices for service that is to be kind lacking. Every time that I have visited the Salon in the last six months I have left almost in tears at the disappointment. They charge nearly $200 for a frontal lace front install. The technician, Charlene was rude and disrespectful on each, and every occasion that I had to do business with her. On occasion, I have had to reschedule my appointments due to illness, but I always called to reschedule. Instead of treating me with respect and understanding, they were hateful and unprofessional. I hope that this review will at least dissuade one person from going to this unprofessional shop. They use their language or dialect of Jamaica to talk about people right in front of their faces. They are hateful and should not get your business.

I've had my hair and make up done for every major life event since I was 14 done at this Salon! From several Weddings to proms and graduations! Anitra even taught me how to do my make up when I started my first real job after college! They're amazing! I actually lived in Florida for a couple years and would fly home to see Courtney because I don't let anyone else touch my hair! I had told her since I was a kid that i was going to grow my hair down to my butt and then chop it off and donate it, she was so excited to help me right before I moved! I've had my nails done here a few times as well and they always come out gorgeous and last forever! Including for both my proms. My entire family now religiously goes to this salon. Today I was in for a facial with Kristen, my mom sees her regularly and the minute she saw my skin from the constant mask wearing she said I needed to go see her! I honestly don't think I'll see anyone else for a facial ever again! My skin is so clean and feels so good now! It was super relaxing I really thought I may fall asleep! And she was so sweet and easy to talk to, it was like chatting with someone I've known forever! Everyone that works here is always so sweet and so friendly! Which was an especially big deal during my awkward teenage years lol! They always made me feel beautiful and confident and continue to do so to this day! I can't recommend this place enough!

The atmosphere here is like that of a petty high school with overaged working women in Alex and Ani bracelets- with way too much attitude and not nearly enough class or skill, which is not really surprising because you're out in South Jersey at a place trying to pass off as high-end when it's really not. This is definitely not New York City. The seat I sat in was dirty with some hair and something that was stuck to it. They also overcharge without telling you they're doing "treatments" as I believe someone mentioned below. I didn't ask for one during my washing and was given and charged for one. Furthermore, my colorist was handling me and a client who needed a cut and dry at the same time- this is strongly advised against during the pandemic. Hard pass if you want good, non-overpriced service and to stay safe during this time.

This is a review of the massage services…read more I desperately needed a massage but on a budget so of course I hit up Groupon. I chose this location because it was close to home. My appointment was for 12:00 on Sunday, which was perfect. It was my birthday weekend and I had plans the day before. I received a call that morning asking if I could move the appointment to 1, which was only slightly inconvenient so I agreed. I arrived at 12:45 as I expected that there would be forms for me to fill out. It's in the great Creek Rd area so you can get a massage and hit some of the local stores and maybe even have lunch. Parking was a bit limited in the front of the salon but I got lucky. I was immediately greeted and given the clipboard to fill out. The only uncomfortable item about this is that as these forms do, it asks medical information. When I returned the form to the salon receptionist she was reading it. Not exactly information that I wanted to share with someone outside of the massage therapist. I don't know if the owner was there as she didn't introduce herself. That would have been nice since I was a new customer. The therapist arrived just slightly before 1:00. I expected he would have been there sooner, especially since it was cold out and cold hands don't make for a fun massage. The Good and Great: Jeremy is an EXCELLENT massage therapist. I've had massages at some of the best places Ritz Carlton, Arizona, Caribbean, etc and he is very talented, attentive, great pressure and communication. I got a swedish and expect that a deep tissue would be even better. After the massage he explained his technique, the benefit of massage, etc. I will likely go back and I've already recommended him to others. The not so great: - So the massage room is at the rear of the salon. If you're looking for a fancy spa experience, this isn't your place. Although he has relaxing music playing you will hear conversations from the salon. I went on a Sunday when there weren't many customers, so it may be louder on a busier day. - The room smelled like hair spray, hair products, etc. It could definitely use an aroma therapy mister. - The room temperature. Since the bed isn't heated the room should be warmer. They need a heater in there during the cooler/cold months. Or heat the oils. But there were definitely moments when it would have been nice to feel warmer.

I had my hair colored by Rose, and she completely missed the mark--it looked nothing like what I…read moreasked for. I spent over eight hours in the salon for foil highlights and a cut, a service that should have taken around three hours. It got so bad that the owner had to step in to take Rose's other clients that day. Later, I received a call from Alicia apologizing for both the poor results and the horrible experience. She admitted it should never have taken that long and offered a redo of whatever I wanted to make up for it. Fast forward to when I called to schedule the redo--I was told the earliest appointment was three months out. Then, despite being promised that the next service would be fully covered, I was informed that I had to pay for the cut because my complaint was only about the dye. Even though my experience was awful and I was treated poorly by Rose, I agreed to pay for the cut because I needed it before getting my color fixed. A week before my appointment, they called to tell me that the stylist for my cut was out, but they could still do the color. However, if I wanted my original stylist to do the cut, I'd have to wait another two months. When I expressed frustration, I was rudely told that they are a "pre-booking salon"--as if I hadn't already waited three months. They expected me to get my color done first and then wait two more months for the cut, which isn't how balayage works. I asked if someone else could cut my hair before the color appointment and was told no one was available on that day. Eventually, they squeezed me in a week earlier, and I paid $80 for the cut. On top of that, I was upsold an oil and deep conditioner for $125 because they claimed my hair was dry and coarse. Finally, when I came in for my "on them" redo of the dye, I was charged $30 just to have my hair blow-dried, so I wouldn't leave looking like a wet dog. I thought this was supposed to be a complimentary service! And to make matters worse, the junior stylist who did the blow-dry didn't even do a good job. On top of everything, the redo dye was a balayage, and when the stylist started, she told me that achieving the look I wanted would take multiple appointments costing nearly $300 each time, plus an additional $60 if I wanted it blown out before leaving. She was able to do some balayage but said she mostly just needed to fix the terrible lines and blend my hair before she could actually create the look I asked for. Like an idiot, I booked another appointment because I'm getting married and wanted my hair to look good. But two weeks before my next appointment, I found out through a Facebook post (not from the salon) that the stylist no longer works there. Was the salon even planning to tell me? Were they going to wait until the last minute--or not tell me at all? The whole process was supposed to involve two appointments spaced six weeks apart to achieve the balayage look. Now, thanks to their lack of communication, I'm left scrambling to figure out what to do before my wedding. This entire experience has been a nightmare from start to finish. Their attempt to keep my business was a complete joke, and I will never be returning.
