I looked at their website and was amazed at how much product they carried, so I had to go check it out. Wow. They have so many cute wigs! I saw at least 6 I wanted to try on, being pretty sure they would work. But no....they won't let you try any full wigs on (because of Covid). I just can't justify to myself buying a wig that I can't try on knowing the store policy is no returns on wigs. How do they sell any? Plus. ... covid restrictions have been lifted by the government. The customer service was friendly and very helpful. I'll be back when they change the "try on" policy. Maybe they could implement a by appointment only for full wig try ons. I've been here on two occasions and I had a good experience both times. This is a large beauty supply store with haircare products, real & synthetic hair and accessories for days. I came here on my first trip looking for crochet locs-- they had a variety of lengths and colors and the staff was very friendly and helpful; it was a successful trip. On my second trip I brought my oldest who loves rocking different hairstyles-- she was able to find everything she was looking for. It's now our go to beauty supply store. My experience here was okay. I was preparing for my very special day. My graduation and needed a wig like ASAP. Went in the variety was great. But definitely up there in price. The wigs are behind a counter (must be an Austin thing) so it's hard to see the price. Since I only really needed the wig for graduation I didn't want to spend too much but ended up doing just that. The cheapest wig I was able to see was $50. I've been to a ton of wig places and I've never seen that before. I've seen wigs as low as $20. Even though I was offered help pretty quickly. I felt very rushed. It was just us too. The lady would tap her fingers on the counter while I looked at wigs. When I wasn't sure on the color she insisted that was the one I wanted. Didn't offer any help whatsoever when I asked for advice. They're not letting us try on wigs at this time so the least they can do is let me make sure I'm 100% happy with my purchase. Especially since wigs are final sale. And they even take the wig to the register. What is up with that? You guys don't trust your customers? Is it really that bad here? I'm very new to this area. I like this hair store because they sale a lot of stuff and has everything that I need. The hair store is clean and organized. The prices can be high depending on what you get. It's not always easy to find what I'm looking for because they have a lot to choose from. It's not usually easy getting help quickly because they have only one knowledgeable person working. Today the store was busy and a lot of people had questions, lol. I stood in line for at least ten minutes before I was checked out. They need to have more knowledgeable associates that walk the floor and ask people do they need assistance. read more

I foremost would like to say that I am deeply hurt. I am so so hurt. I don't understand how people don't get the simple concepts of customer service. How to treat your guest with respect. How to understand your guest and always put them first. "Guest are always right." (Even if they aren't). My family and I always shop at WIGS AND BEAUTY IN PFLUGERVILLE to get our lashes and edge control (Edge booster to be exact.) Today after sweating out my kitchen (aka. Edges) I decided to drive on down to WIGS AND BEAUTY. When I got there, I got the original combo, "my number 3 lashes and small travel size edge booster". I purchased my items, went home and attempted to apply my edge control. When I opened it, it looked pure white (supposed to be clear) with white balls in it. If you wear edge control you know this happens when it has been exposed to air too long. I politely drove back up to WIGS AND BEAUTY and ask the owner (or whatever position he is, I will have a picture attached) if I was able to switch it out. He began to tell me "you didn't buy that from here", "ours don't look like that", "I need proof that you bought it" (and I remind you, I spoke to this man and asked him many questions minutes ago when I made the purchase) and he continued to plead that I was not there. He asked me for my receipt and I told him that I wasn't given one. I told him that I paid credit and my signed receipt should be in the stack and he said "I don't know how long ago that was so I will not go through the stack." He then said "well who checked you out" and the lady that checked me out was not out there, so I explained her to him and he said she's on break and I would have to wait till she came back. So, that is exactly what I did. I continued to wait and he continued to think of trials and tribulations to put me through so that I could feel like boo boo the fool. My older sister finally came and asked what was taking me so long and he explained the same thing to her. Meanwhile, there are several guest standing around, watching this ignorance. He then said he would need to watch the VIDEO CAMERAS to prove that I was there for this $2.99 edge booster. I waited, we all waited. Finally they found me on the camera making a purchase, and he said "you didn't buy the item!" Then the video carries along and you see a red tube of edge booster in my hand and me successfully making the purchase. He finally then allowed me to switch out the product but told me that next time I would need the receipt. I would have recorded this whole experience but I was too busy sobbing because I don't understand why people don't have a desire to treat people right. Especially when you are receiving business. Yes, like many people said in the store "it's only $2.99" I definitely get it, but these hair stores need to understand that you have to actually care about your guest. You can't just win $300.00 off me (knowing the hair don't cost that much) and then treat your customers wrong. I stayed to prove a point and show his other guest how he was making me feel. I was embarrassed, humiliated, and hurt. These hair stores are exploiting the Black dollar and its times up. I would also like to add that me being a regular there, (the Black woman) (pictured below)that always checks me out (when I buy the same items) didn't even vouch for me. Watching me upset and frustrated. Now, I didn't assume she would vouch for me because she was black, but because I know she knows me, and my sisters and what we get. If you are ever in town and need some lashes or a quick wig, think twice about going to THE WIGS AND BEAUTY IN PFLUGERVILLE. They lack customer service, they have no loyalty for their regulars or new customers and most of all they are greedy. You lost my dollas for a $2.99 item, couldn't be me. read more

Very disappointed. I spend at least $150 a month in this store. They recognize me when I come. I purchased a ponytail for my daughter and she decided that she didn't want to try it. It was in original packaging, untouched with tags. As a frequent shopper, I simply asked to exchange for something that I would wear as the one that I purchased was for my 10 year old. I did not want a dime back, and would never even considered asking. The representative was unwilling to even consider. She did not even look at the ponytail and pointed to the sign. I understand policies and absolutely understand why they are in place. However, satisfied customers are invaluable, and conversely, dissatisfied customers can be detrimental. I went in to exchange a bag of hair I purchased from wigs n beauty three days ago (I grabbed the wrong color). So I go in today and the price of the hair increased by $7. In three days. The workers go on to explain that it was an error or something in the system and explain to me that I have a total. After an exchange. Pretty fucking odd and annoying right???? This was a horrifying experience, to say the least. The manager at this store falsely accused my daughter of something she didn't do. She embarrassed my minor for more than 40 minutes while my minor waited for me to come to the store. She made several derogatory and degrading comments towards my daughter and myself. I'm beyond disappointed and extremely saddened by the whole situation. I never wanted my child to be a victim of racial profiling. The store manager also repeatedly showed the video of my minor to many other customers, even though she was aware that my daughter was a minor, and the angle of the camera was from a back view, entirely. The store manager would not even let the video play all the way through, she kept stopping the video on the part she wanted to stop it at. Which unfairly didn't show the entire situation. I called here and asked if they sold tape extensions. The girl who answered the phone said, yes, and I even asked for a color choice, and she said they had some in that color. So I drove over there and walked in - they had a big selection so I asked if I could be directed to the tape extensions. The girl replies, "We don't have them." Me - "Uhhh, I called and specifically asked if you did and you said yes." Cashier replies nastily - "No, you said clip in extensions" with a dirty look. Uh, no I didn't. They day I was there only one worker was on the floor and the other Asian ladies were so busy collecting $$ they forgot about customer on the floor.
