I wanted to redo my kitchen counter & island. I was considering granite or quartz & picked out what I wanted, but then I saw the excellent reviews on yelp of Wilcore. I made an appointment & Laura was extremely knowledgeable in helping me choose the Corian & gave me a computer drawing & estimate. I knew that day I was going to have Wilcore do the work. I choose what I wanted for the counters & island. Brad came a couple of days later to measure & I learned he is the owner of Wilcore & had worked with his father in the business since he was 8 years old. So I knew the measurements would be accurate. Brad suggested I pick out a coordinating color of Corian so a border could be made to go around the whole perimeter of the island so the seams would not be noticeable. I was a little hesitant because I had never seen anything like he suggested. But he was correct. It is beautiful. It looks like it would be in an upscale model home. I LOVE it. The installers were excellent & cleaned up when the job was finished. I would highly recommend Brad & Wilcore. I will certainly have Wilcore do my bathroom vanity tops when needed. read more

We contracted with Home Depot to have the countertop on our island changed. Home Depot subcontracted the job to Wilcor. They installed the wrong color. After a bit of convincing and us making a trip down to Elk Grove Village they admitted they got it wrong. Brought the right color out. Put it on and left a hole in the top of the countertop the size of the drill bit. They just left without saying a word about it. I called the owner and he had them come an pick it up and take back to the shop. They brought it back repaired but did not install it centered to cover the drawers. Again, they just left. I do not trust them to come back and do it right. I do not trust them in my house. Shoddy from beginning to end. They may have been a good company at one time but I do not feel they are honorable or have any integrity, now. read more

I had every countertop in my house replaced (9 pieces in all, including integrated sinks and backsplashes). Brad came out to measure the same day I submitted my request. He was very polite and communicative and explained the entire process up front. One day later he called to schedule our install at my earliest convenience. I chose a date only two days later and booked them for 9am. Paul and Bill showed up right on time to perform the install. They were fast, courteous, and professional. I was working on some drywall missing when they came and they were happy to work around me, despite me being a bit in the way. I'm also interested in learning how installs like this work, and both Paul and Bill were happy to answer my questions and show me how they did their work. Brad's measurements were extremely accurate, and every piece fit perfectly, even the ones requiring tiny notches to fit my trim work. The countertops and sinks were installed quickly and the end result was really impressive. I highly recommend Wilcor and their team; if I had any countertops left (which I don't anymore) I would absolutely use them again. read more

I chose Wilcor to install the Corian kitchen countertops in my new custom home. The installers were prompt, professional and did and excellent job. I was very happy with the result. Unfortunately when I later installed my drawer microwave, I discovered a small difference in the overhang of the counter just above it. Many people wouldn't notice something so minor, but I have an eye for detail. When I called Wilcor about this issue, the owner came right over to personally check on it. Within a few days his crew had corrected the issue at no charge and my countertops are now litterally perfect. I couldn't be happier. Wilcor does top-notch work and they stand behind it. I called for an estimate of kitchen countertops. The salesperson NEVER showed up and NEVER even bothered to call and say she wasn't coming out. I took a day off of work to get the estimate. After waiting until the follwing afternoon, I called to find out what happened and the same woman answered the phone and was RUDE to me!!! Instead of asking what she could do to accomodate my schedule and come back to gieve an estimate, she complained to me that I wrote a negative email to COSTCO who referred me. NEVER EVER WORK WITH THIS COMPANY. read more

We had Wilcor Solid Surface install our countertops over ten years ago. The did an excellent job, prices were very competitive, the install was on time and the quality of the work was top notch. This year my daughter got married and as we were sprucing up the house I mentioned to my wife we should have the countertops buffed out. She thought I was nuts, not the first time she thought that, because the wedding was only three weeks away. I said have no fear Joe is here. I called Brad Raemer the owner of Wilcor on a Friday and by the following Friday a service technician, Dan, came out and in two hours, (we have a lot of counter tops) buffed the tops out. The counter tops looked outstanding. I had forgotten how great the Corian product looked. The best part, my wife was thrilled with the end result. She fell in love with her kitchen all over again. I could not be HAPPIER! Brad came in and measured, very professional! He told me it would be a week or so before the countertop was installed. I found out my contractor would be leaving town and called Brad to let him know I was in a pinch as far as scheduling. He scheduled installation that very morning to alleviate any scheduling problems with my contractor and anxiety on my part. Dan did the installation, exact, clean, and quick! Wilcor replaced the counter tops in my kitchen - an old house where nothing is squared, level, plum, etc. I chose Corian because of all the quirks in my house. Some adjustments had to be made but with their patient work, the counters are level and there are no detectable seams. Brad and Dan are very helpful. They made sure I was satisfied with their work. Recently I had a problem with my bathroom counter top so I called Brad at Wilcor. Within 3 days I had a new vanity countertop and sink. Dan did a beautiful job installing and sealing the new countertop to the existing vanity cabinet and tile. Wilcor cleans up thoroughly after installation is completed. I trust this company and would definitely use them again. read more
