I always received an email to schedule, but I didn't always notice that it was from them because there was no business name displayed. After some time, I called to get the service scheduled again. I took the day off work so I could be here on the scheduled day, and they showed up in the window that was promised. Their service vehicle was a mess on the outside, with paint peeling all over the front etc. It's just something worth mentioning because it makes them look a little less professional. I went over the grounds to describe the issues that I am having. I really needed to get things taken care of and was happy that they were here to perform the spraying. They were here for about 30 min. or less before I was told that they would have to come back some other time since their sprayer was not working. That was disappointing since I needed service sooner rather than later. Great, now I have to get back on a schedule and back in line and wait. I have no idea what was treated before the sprayer broke, or if anything was treated at all. This kind of information would have been nice. I received a VM from the office to reschedule - No apologies for the inconvenience of my taking off work for this appointment or anything. Just a "call us back to reschedule" type of thing. The last thing I need is to take off work again with the potential of the job not being able to be completed. I am going to go with another local provider and hope for the best.

very nice company. And didn't charge me for anything I didn't need. I would recommend them.read more

It is an accredited zoo and the enclosures are very well maintained. Animals are normally visible, some shy, but that's to be expected. For a free zoo, the size is amazing. There's also tons to do- a train that goes around the zoo, a carousel, and even stingray feeding (my favorite). Food is OK- nothing crazy. Water stations are available and you are allowed to bring in your own food and drinks. Plenty of available restrooms and rest/seating areas all around the zoo. I adore this place. My family member has a membership so we get to ride the train for free. If you're in the city and you skip the zoo, you're seriously missing out!

There's no doubt that the St. Louis zoo is one of the best zoos in the US! At the zoo. I went with to the Animals Aglow lantern festival with some friends and we loved glancing at all of the beautifully decorated lanterns around the garden. I love that they included all different types of lanterns--mechanical lanterns, musical lanterns, ornate, and simple lanterns. I can tell that they really thought about the entire design when they added each of these installations to the zoo. They were also easily accessible to kids who have physical disabilities, which is a huge plus. One of the things I wish we had available when going to the zoo is a digital map that tells us where we're going, because even though I've been several times I always get lost lol. BUT I am today years old when I found out they ALREADY have a digital, interactive map that directs you to all of the exhibits in real time. (Found that out on their website!!) I wish I would've known this sooner but it's awesome that they created this concept! But what can I say, I love the Zoo and am looking forward to their other exhibits and amenities opening this year!!

Grant's Farm - In the courtyard

    Grant's Farm

What a fun afternoon!…read more To my surprise, Grant's Farm does not charge admission. What they do charge for is parking. $27. Yikes. If possible, prepay online for $18. And, don't worry, there are plenty of things to spend money on: personal tours, food and drink, feed for the animals (not the horses), trinkets, camel rides...you know the routine. Once parked, you need to decide on where to visit first. There are the stables on one side of the parking lot and the deer park tram on the opposite end. We started with the stables. The stable itself is beautiful - pristine. Peaceful even. There were 4 of the gorgeous Clydesdale "big boys" there when we visited. All but one were 3 years old - huge, and not yet full grown. You may pet them though signs warn of the possibility of biting (the horses biting you, not you biting the horses!) I saw a caretaker scratching a horse behind his ears. I tried it and that big guy about melted right there. I wouldn't call it magical but it was pretty darn neat. We then walked across the parking to catch the tram ride through the deer park (many more animals besides just deer) , we arrived at the Tier Garden. Here, you will find animal/bird shows (just go in without expectation), animals to pet and feed, camel rides and free beer. WHAT?? Yes, 2 free Budweiser products for those over 21. There is plenty of food for purchase too. (Skip the soft pretzel. Calling it "soft" was false advertising.) We spent about 2 hours here but you can spend as much or as little time as you want. Grant's Farm is a must see when visiting STL. Good luck finding a better deal - $27 for a fun afternoon for 4 adults - heck, just the free beer was worth it. And having a Clydesdale melt in my hands was absolutely priceless..

Once the tram stops, there is lots to see. The goat pen was full of goats which you can feed. Then there are chickens, rabbits, alpacas, camels, cows, and a lot of other animals you can visit. Of course, there are the Clydesdale horses that you can get up close to. They are huge!! Great experience for any age.
