I just visited the wild berry tea spa for a facial and hair treatment. Let me just say this is the best facial I've ever received and I've been to plenty of spas. The atmosphere was very enchanting and there were treats and a pot of tea in the seating area waiting for me off the treatment room which you have to yourself. I scheduled the serenitea for both my husband and I for a rainy Friday morning, it was the perfect escape. Julie is so sweet and knowledgeable. She explains everything step by step and has such a calming presence. The scalp massage with peppermint oil with the facial is amazingggg. The ambience is great, lots of candles, calming music and everything is so cozy. Between the atmosphere, the facial and bonus aromatherapy, it's so easy to relax. They start out with tea (which I loved mine, even was going to purchase some but Julie added it as a gift which was so sweet) and treats, such as little pastries, fruit and chocolate. Then progress into telling you step by step what your treatment is while working with you to perfect the treatment for your particular skin type. Then comes the actual treatment which I cannot rave about enough. You truly feel like royalty here and it's such a personal experience, perfectly tailored to you. The "serenitea" 60 minute facial included a scalp and foot massage and extractions. I was there for over an hour and had a great cup of tea before and after the treatment. Getting a facial or a massage I take pretty seriously since I'm pretty self-conscious but I stublmed upon Wild Berry Tea Spa and did some more research and found a video of Julie talking about getting products ready for a previous facial. She seemed so sweet and seemed like someone I could be comfortable with. And my expectations were met! I haven't had many facials but this will be the place I go from now on! The place is located on the south side and is a shared location with another business. It was a little confusing figuring out where I was going but once I found out that it was her inside of there it was pretty easy. I got the 2 hours of bliss. It was my birthday so normally I wouldn't go all out but hey it's my birthday! Before you get started Julie talks to you about everything that's going to happen while you're drinking tea she made and served with cookies. After she explained everything She asked if it all sounded okay. I told her she was great for my Controlling personality. There weren't any surprises I knew exactly what was going to happen. She is into tea, as the name indicates. She has a lot of teas it's a little similar to an apothecary in her room, which I like. Tea based products are used during the facials and lots of coconut oil! I like that during the facial she does extractions. The last place I went to I enjoyed but I wanted them to deep deep clean my face. She did just that and never made me feel embarrassed. My favorite part had to be the scalp treatment at the end! She pours a tea into your hair and massages some sort of cream into it. She said I could leave it in overnight or wash it out before bed. I decided to wash it out before bed and my head the next day and even 5 days after feels awesome! I'll be going back and treating myself more now that I found someone who uses natural products, is so sweet, and where I feel comfortable! read more

I came to Wild Berry Tea Spa while I was on my Birthday Vacation and I wanted to treat myself to relaxing massage and facial treatment. I can not say enough great things about my experience here. I was able to set up my appointment easily online, I came in for an hour massage and an hour facial. I ended up getting a better package when I got to the spa, 2.5 hours total between the massage and facial. I was severed chilled water, a freshly brewed pot of African Tea, some delicious fruits and dark chocolate on a tray for me to enjoy throughout the 2.5 hours of relaxation. Summer the massage therapist was amazing, I have a chronic pain in my right arm from years of playing sports and she was able to release the tension relax the muscles to the point I wasn't in pain. Summer was very professional and attentive to how my body responded to the pressure she applied and made the entire session go smoothly and easily. Julie did my facial treatment and was just as professional and attentive the entire time from start to finish. I walked out feeling healthier mentally and physically than I had in a long time. The facial treatment gave me a wonderful glow and took a few years off my face which is hard because I am rather young. Haha. This spa is worth the trip, it's worth the money spent, and it's worth treating yourself to the wonderful atmosphere and some of the best treatment a spa has to offer. It was just the two of so it felt really personal and we talked about my skincare concerns, she then led me to the room and the sitting area where she had fresh brewed tea and cookies and with fruit.
