Awesome service, friendly and showed tremendous integrity. We changed our plans after arriving and did not expect any sort of refund, however was immediately given one without asking. Bill and staff went above and beyond to accommodate our needs and wants during our three night stay. I will be back.

Small area to stop, rest, and have lunch along the way.

Average convenient store for small town. Small choice of sweat tops and hats. Did give away free bumper stickers. Staff very friendly.

I was visiting Cotter for a few days and was excited to have the opportunity to float this portion of the buffalo river.

This was a great find for a short little vacation on the lake. From the moment of booking on VRBO,…read morethe owners were in contact with all the details needed for check in and a great stay. The resort is remote about 18 miles out of Mountain Home, but that is a charm as there is very little light or noise pollution in the area. There are 6 cottages of varying sizes to accommodate your needs. I stayed in Cottage #2 which has a spectacular view of Bull Shoals Lake from the porch as seen in the pictures. The cottage is one bedroom and very cozy. A fully funding functioning kitchen is useful for a long stay if you don't want to go beck into town for meals. The sitting area is in front of a large picture window with the same great view. A small dining table with chairs sits in one corner and the queen size bed in another. The bathroom is quite small with a color scheme from the 70s, but that is not an issue since you won't (hopefully) be spending a lot of time in there. The ceiling fan is extremely noisy, but that was turned off with the click of a switch. The owners are extremely outgoing and friendly! I was met at the car when I arrived and given a quick rundown of the place before settling in. Even though it rained for a lot of my trip, I thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet and beauty of the surroundings. I highly recommend the resort for even a day or two of relaxation, but it is also a good place for an extended stay for some quiet rest!

The first thing we noticed upon our arrival was the change in cleanliness at the resort.... keep in mind it was never bad, it just keeps getting better! Patty and Charlie are the nicest people you'll meet and willing to lend a helping hand to get you settled in. They are very welcoming and you can tell they are putting their heart and soul into the resort! We always come because the lake is clear, the water is clean, and it's a great area for fishing and wake boarding. In the mornings the water is super calm and it never gets overly crowded. The resort has a pool and great views if you are looking for a relaxing vacation, and I know you can rent boats around at some of the docks. There are brand new grills, nice decks, and the beds are comfortable with new linens. We always visit this resort and are very excited to see it in such great hands!!

Lake Taneycomo - We ALL love the fire pit and enjoyed each others company just talking or chilling out! But then again, who doesn't like a fire?!

One of Branson, Mo greatest gems is this pretty little lake…read more Some of the best mornings of my life have been spent on this quite little lake; guiding kayak tours in the spring and summer months, admiring all the adorable, chicks, ducks, Heron, turtles, fish, Canada Geese, and bald eagles-it was wonderful to watch the seasons change with the chaning colors of the leaves and the changing colors on the breasts of all the waterfowl; saying good morning to all the polite and funny fly-fishermen at dawn; giggling at the beavers who would sometimes scare the cr*p outta me by splashing into the water while I was admiring a Great Blue Heron; paddling my kayak through the icey waters, myself and my kayak covered in snow, during the winter. What I really loved, during the super-hot summer months, was when they would do a dam release and the cold water from the bottom of Table Rock lake would turn Lake Taneycomo into a super-cold 40degrees stream, creating this beautiful foggy mist, making morning kayak trips gloriously romantic, refreshing, and a luxurious treat. Some may think it's a stream or a gentle river upon first inspection because there is usually a bit of a current. This is because they let do "dam releases" from Table rock lake which regulates the lake levels of Taneycomo. So, even though it moves like a river it is technically a lake since it is dammed on both sides. SUGGESTIONS: Bring a kayak. You'll see so much more. You'll never disturb the little critters. Youll get to sneek up on happy little turtle families. Make more friend with the fly-fishermen by telling them where all the great fishing holes are without disturbing the fish. Bring a camera. Enjoy!
