Their bird food is quality and they avoid "fillers" that is common amongst bargain bags of seed at big box stores. Online ordering makes pickup easy, but I personally enjoy strolling through their cute store.

Friendly knowledgable employees gave me some great recommendations and some education I was unaware of, such as rancid bird seed, and using hot pepper to deter rodents. There was honey and hand lotion to sample, jewelry and even sympathy cards for those who have lost a pet. There is a rewards program and educational seminars where wild birds are brought to the store. I spent a lot of money and had no remorse due to my love for nature and wildlife and having the pleasure to be able to bring it to my own yard with the help of this business.

I shop for my dog and while I can't get everything I need there, I can get some of my items without traveling far or spending a ton of money. DD has been very helpful with special ordering an item I use regularly. I'm relieved to know it will always be there when I need it and it's a better price than Chewy and there's no shipping and handling charge. I appreciate their passion for dogs despite being a bird store and for carrying higher quality products based on current, relevant research from resources such as dogfoodadvisor.com. Yesterday Petco had a flood and no customer was allowed in the store…read more I know this because I went to the store to buy a baby ferret and they said no customer was allowed in due to the flood They told me the baby ferret was still in there, and I could come back tomorrow So today I woke up and I got to Petco 10 minutes before they opened so I can be the first one in the store so I can buy this baby ferret Since no customer was allowed in the store yesterday an employee bought the ferret, and it was the same employee who told me to come back the next day to buy the ferret If customers can't come in and buy the animals, I don't think the employees should because I was at Petco yesterday way before the employee even bought the ferret and I was ready to buy the ferret and they told me I couldn't come in due to flooding, but the employee bought the ferret because she was allowed in the store because she was a worker

They had several of these really cute mini ready-to-take-home aquarium/plant/shrimp setups in a tank that looks like a giant Lego brick, and several 2 to 3- gallon micro tanks were on display right up front. This seems to be a specialty! The owners and employees seemed knowledgeable, and they acted like they were as proud of their aquatic plants as their fish. I had a great time letting them show me around, and I walked out with a new plant and driftwood piece for my countertop water garden!
