I was in town checking on my grandmother in Mobile and visiting family in Daphne. While spending time with her, she mentioned wanting to get her fish tank set back up. I decided it would be the perfect Valentine's surprise to bring her aquarium back to life. I stopped into the Daphne location just to "look around," and that's when I was greeted by Heath -- "like the Heath bar," as he joked. From the moment I walked in, he was welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate. He told me he owns four tanks himself and absolutely loves aquariums. And it showed. I have never owned a fish tank in my life. Heath patiently educated me on everything -- which fish were compatible, what setup would work best, what to avoid, and how to make sure my grandmother's tank would thrive. He even said, "I hope your grandmother likes my selection," which was such a thoughtful touch. After surprising my grandmother (she cried, by the way ), we realized her old tank equipment wasn't working -- the filter and light were both out, which probably explained why it hadn't been running. I initially tried going to a Petco location off I-10 in Mobile to grab what we needed, and unfortunately, it was a completely opposite experience. I waited nearly 20 minutes after asking twice for assistance. It was frustrating and disappointing. That's when I said, "You know what? Let me just call Heath." And I am SO glad I did. Even though the Daphne store was about 20 minutes away, it was 100% worth the drive -- and I would make that drive again and again. Heath immediately told me it would be smarter to purchase a full kit instead of piecing parts together because it would save money in the long run. When I arrived, not only did they have great sales (50% off some items and 20% off others), but Heath had everything already pulled and ready for me. A wonderful young lady greeted me when I came in (I hate that I can't remember her name, but she was fantastic). Heath came out from the back, smiling, and said, "I've got it ready for you." I remembered one more item I needed, and without hesitation, they helped me with that too. The entire team made me feel comfortable, supported, and confident in what I was purchasing. Today, my grandmother has a beautiful, fully functioning aquarium again -- and she is so happy. And I'm happy because I didn't have to overthink a single thing. That's what exceptional service does. Well done, Heath and the entire team at Pet Supermarket in Daphne. You didn't just sell fish -- you helped create a special memory for my grandmother and me. I was standing there in tears, distraught seeing her suffer, yet Dr. Leonard's focus was baffling. After a very brief exam, the doctor spent the majority of the time talking about how "awful" her ears were and how "dirty" her teeth were--despite her having been groomed recently and having a dental cleaning last year. It was incredibly heartless to focus on grooming while my dog was in a medical crisis. Dr. Leonard told me the best option was a $5,000-$5,500 surgery or a four-day stay in the clinic. I felt dismissed and hopeless during the worst possible moment. Fortunately, the vet tech, Magen, was the absolute sweetest and kindest person. She actually listened and recommended a steroid shot and medication. I opted for Magen's suggestion, and within two hours, my dog was walking on her own. I will never understand the lack of empathy shown by the vet, but I am so grateful for Magen's heart and expertise. I know we have a long road to recovery but I am thankful for trying other options and hopefully avoiding surgery . I will not be returning to Dr. Leonard.

Pricing is no where to be found on site or app. When I inquired about pricing I was given the rates. You are asked to select what your dog is "allowed " to participate in during the stay. It is implied that playing fetch, woodland walks, and swimming are included in the "Woof Lodge". Nope. $10 per activity. No where mentions pricing or that the "added" activities were not included and charged for each one. A $40 one night stay cost me $70 plus tax. Almost double what it quoted. The handler Julius was good with my dog and nice though. The only reason I brought my dog here vs other boarding options was for the "play" and interaction they "offered" for a little more than traditional boarding pricing. Fool me once....

I was looking for something local to do for spring break and found this on google. I absolutely loved it. They have so many things to look at and we stayed for a few hours. Inside they have aquariums with reptiles and fish, tons of interesting things to look at and learn and the staff are more than happy to answer any questions. Outside are multiple walking trails that are beautiful with facts about different trees posted on them and QR codes for further research. We saw owls, hawks, geese, alligator, turtles, all types of birds, and so much more. There is a beautiful lake with picnic tables beside it where you can have a picnic and I fully intend to do that next trip. This is a hidden gem and I can't wait to go back.
