I am filled with anxiety and sadness today. please consider adopting from another rescue. I had a terrible encounter this evening with a representative/staff member named Jill. my family is going through a job loss and hardship right now. everyone knows how this inflation is costing everyone and I had Jill texting me demanding a neuter immediately or I can relinquish my pup. I can't afford it right now, we are struggling. My pup is thoroughly adapted in our home, happy, healthy, fed and safe. I can't imagine life without him. Jill is demanding, rude and inconsiderate to life's hardships. She wants licensing and order to be top priority. no other means considered. I'm baffled, hurt and just trying to survive right now. Giving us time is all I asked for. Being rude is enough to push me over the edge with what we are dealing with at this time. So many pets needing rescued and she wants to text and push her authority. If trouble arises, they will only judge whatever decision you make unless it is keeping the animal (even if it is harming those in your home). They made up lies about me and acted hostile towards me every time I pointed out a lie they made.They took four dogs from me because my dog food was in the back of the truck and the truck got wrecked.I didn't want the dogs to starve because of such a freak accident on Christmas eve.I washed all the puppies off hours before they came and took them and they went around telling everyone they were covered in pee and poop when they weren't.They also took pictures of my home.I don't live in a mansion,but what right do they have to throw stones when they live in a glass house?They could've just helped me with dog food and let me keep the dogs.They just wanted them so they could charge 250 per dog.I wish I could give them a zero. read more

These people patrol on the weekends looking for loose pets! My daughters dog got loose and while she was out looking for him they chased him into someone else's house. They obviously had a chip reader with them because they called my wife, That would have been all good, but then this woman wouldn't give her the information of his whereabouts. She decided she needed to do a background check on my wife. She had to scour through her facebook at least four years back to find out how we found the dog! Then try to lecture my wife on the dogs weight (He's a Chihuahua) and had been checked by a very reputable veterinarian that said he was just fine, that's just they way he is. Then a couple of days later a friend calls telling us that she's still asking questions about my wife! That's stalking now! I told my wife to file a complaint and possibly a restraining order! This is ridiculous! We take excellent care of our pets and these people treat us like criminals! Beware of these over zealous dog catchers! I would have given them less stars, but that's the lowest that can be applied! Sorry about the rant, but these people rubbed me the wrong way.
