Nice clean store with friendly associates. They have a nice range of frozen meat options ranging from beef to seafood to poultry.

BEST BUTCHER SHOP AROUND -- HANDS DOWN!…read more Dorfler's Meats has been my go-to butcher shop for the past few years, and honestly, I can't imagine shopping anywhere else. From the moment you walk in, the owners and staff treat you like family -- not just customers. It's beyond refreshing to go to a meat shop that truly does it right, from start to finish. The quality is unmatched. I happily travel well out of my way just to stock up on their incredibly fresh meats, top-tier seafood, and the ready-made, home-cooked meals that make weeknights (and weekends) so much better. And let's not forget the deli counter -- WOW. The sandwiches are next-level delicious, and the homemade salads are always fresh, flavorful, and addictive. If you're shopping for the holidays, Dorfler's is an absolute must. Their Prime Tenderloin roasts are unreal -- exceptional quality, fair pricing, and you can truly tell how much care and craftsmanship goes on behind the scenes. It's the kind of place where excellence isn't an accident -- it's the standard. The staff is nothing but helpful, friendly, and genuinely kind. From outstanding customer service at the counter to unforgettable meals at my family's table, we have nothing but positive things to say about Dorfler's Meats. Thank you to everyone at Dorfler's for all you do to stay open, keep raising the bar, and continue showcasing exciting, seasonal products that we look forward to all year long. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out -- HIGHLY recommend!

BUYER BEWARE! Most of the staff is rude and the entire business is a scam. Find a local farmer and…read morepurchase meat from them instead. Our household shopped at Dorfler's for 13 years. It always felt a little strange that they never had pricing visible. Every other butcher I have ever been to since childhood has always had prices visible. You would go in, order, and pay whatever they charge you at checkout. But the products were good enough and I was happy to support a local business. Over the years we have ordered a beef tenderloin roast during the holiday season when it is on sale for $34.99/lb. It has always been very pricey but (as far as we know) we were never cheated on the price and the product the way we were this year. We ordered one 3lb beef tenderloin roast. We were explicit when placing the order that we wanted one piece of meat that was 3lbs. The person who took the order was rude but seemed to understand the request. When we got the roast home I did the math because the bill was a lot more than expected. We were charged over $41/lb. When I called to ask about why the price was so high I was put on hold and the rude man that picked up next told me "it's trimmed. We charge you for the weight before trimming." This means Dorfler's supposedly trimmed off about 3/4 lb of fat. That is a lot of fat to trim off of a 3lb roast and if I was going to be charged for it why was the fat not offered to me as part of my order? Unfortunately, we accepted this explanation. The roast was wrapped in butcher paper which we did not open because we put it straight in the freezer for a week before defrosting it. We finally opened the butcher paper on New Year's Eve to prepare the roast to have on New Year's Day and were appalled that Dorfler's clearly lied to us. There were 3lbs of meat in two small roast each vacuum sealed in plastic by their distributor. This means that Dorfler's not only WAY overcharged us for the amount of meat we received, they also charged us for 3/4lb of fat they never really trimmed off. I am not even sure why they bothered with the butcher paper at all, except they probably charged us for that, too. If I could give Dorfler's zero stars I would. Also the obvious direct response to this negative review is a pathetic attempt to save face regarding your tenderloin roast "sale." Patricia W. is likely related. Why else would she disagree with facts? Dorfler's is nothing but a lying bunch of cheats who screw their loyal customers every chance they get. Some just haven't figured it out yet. And now they blocked me on Facebook. Keep it up guys. You are proving how crooked you are and how you can't handle the truth being told about your disgusting business of cheating loyal customers.

We tried the Boston Fish Market for my birthday dinner this year, and had a pretty good experience…read more It was on a Wednesday and the restaurant was not busy. We were seated promptly in the formal dining room which was nicely decorated. Our semi-circular booth was spacious and comfortable. There were different sections in the restaurant that were more casual, tailored to the different tastes of the clients. Overall, food was delicious and portions were huge. I had a Boston Clam Chowder and a Gulf Grouper as the main. I would usually order a salad, but I didn't this time as each entrée came with a large plate of homemade roasted vegetables and wild rice. The Boston Clam Chowder had real pieces of clams in it. However, it was just lukewarm. My grouper looked great and tasted flavorful, but it was somewhat over-cooked (and therefore not tender), which was unfortunate. My wife had a bowl of Lobster Bisque and an order of Stuffed Flounder that had crabmeat sandwiched in the fish. She absolutely loved her choices. Our daughter had a Charbroiled Walleye and liked it too. Her only disappointment was the garlic bread being hard and dry. Our daughter and I each had a Chardonnay Stags Leap which was good, while my wife had a Virgin Mojito and truly enjoyed it. Surprisingly, the highlight of the night was the slice of tiramisu that our friendly and professional server Greg brought to me! It had a lit candle for my birthday, and Greg teamed up with two other waitresses enthusiastically sang me a happy birthday song! The tiramisu was excellent, creamy and not too sweet. I am not a dessert person but really appreciated this. I have a suggestion for the restaurant: as the portions were so large and each of us brought home half of it, it would have been nice that they make the portion 40% to 50% smaller, and lower the average price of $40 per entrée accordingly. It might help attract more customers. Just my two cents. All in all, I had a lovely birthday dinner at Boston Fish Market. Ambience was good, and service was outstanding. We will certainly return again.

My ahi tuna was a tiny overcooked and kinda fishy. Portion was a lot of vegetables which were fine. My husband had halibut which was good, but only a couple pieces of asparagus. Last time he had potatoes and we both got green beans too. Coffee was lukewarm and tasted old When he made the reservation he said it was our anniversary. No mention of that at all either. Disappointed on this visit for the price you pay

The first time we ordered from here was through the website and we drove up to pickup the food. First, the app... perfect. Need gluten free food filtered? Yep! Need low carbs and zero sugar filtered? Yep! Did you decide to go into the store instead and need to turn it into a shopping list telling you which aisle and section it is located in? Yep! Honestly, it is fantastic. Next, it is employee owned. Everyone inside seems to care about making you a happy customer because they own a stake in it. Lastly, this place is massive! I can't rally explain to you how massive. It is 242,000 square feet of groceries. For scale, that is 15 commercial Boeing 737 jetliners inside or 395 full sized semi trucks or the entire New York City Central Park Zoo! It has every food you could imagine with every gluten free, keto, and zero sugar option my family craves. Want that Mountain Dew Voltage raspberry soda you thought was long gone? Yep! Want those Keto ice cream bars that taste better than standard ice creams? Yep! You got a customer for life. Well done!

In need of household goods, we made the trek and figured there was at least a few options available. We were wrong, this place is not a typical grocery store. It's a food emporium, with tons of aisles and plenty of choices. Was surprised they didn't have any manned stations (meat, deli, and fish usually have someone there with fresh products). This place just has more aisles. And while we might have one or two cases of a specific type of item, you got full aisles. And not just one aisle, but multiple. And many different brands and types. It's impressive to say the least. The discover only for card payments was a little weird. But not an issue since they take cash. Price was fairly reasonable as well. All-in-all, a fun trek for a mundane task. If you need to find a product, check woodsman's. They probably got it
