I'm amazed with the major authors this small town bookstore brings in! The shop itself is so cute and has much more than just books - little gifts, cards, candles, etc! I sometimes think to make my TBR list around their author events! It's a woman owned business to boot! She's also hilarious and has a gregarious personality!

Thank goodness I do not live any closer to this bookstore, because whew the selection is top tier! It is a quick walk over from the courthouse which is pretty convenient and there are a few restaurants and coffee shops nearby too. Since they have so many author events, they have so many signed copies of books in store even if you missed the event! The booksellers are so nice and helpful too!

I love this bookstore! I was introduced to them when I went to a book signing they were hosting at the Historic Artcraft Theater. It is a house turned bookstore and they have a great selection of books, stickers, candles, bags, cups, and just about everything else you want from a book store at a reasonable price. I especially love how all of the cookbooks were located in the kitchen area that still looks like a kitchen. The staff is great and very friendly.

Drove all the way to Franklin to visit Wild Geese Bookshop for a Let's Be Friends - Indy book swap. I have never been to Franklin before. It is SO cute but this book shop, you definitely have to check it out. It has so much character, amazing books - including very trendy and popular authors, it's clean and the owner is on site and amazing. Recommend!

This is a quaint little book store. On the table in front of me, as I walked in, were Girl Scout Cookies for sale. This building used to be a house obviously, so the front room on the right is dedicated to children. The front room on the left is for the adults. Don't forget to check out the back room on the left because you may not notice it until you check out like I did. I was a little surprised to find an AUTOGRAPHED COPY of a Jack Carr novel, "In The Blood" with his Navy SEAL James Reece character. If you have Amazon Prime and have watched "The Terminal List," then you are familiar with the James Reece character played by Chris Pratt in that TV series. "In The Blood" is the fifth book penned by Jack Carr featuring James Reece. I had not seen this book featured in any of the other five bookstores I have visited this week in their Current Publications section. So I was pleasantly surprised to find this book and it is autographed; a bonus for me. I did find a street parking spot in the same block on a Saturday but it was the last one. When I came out though there were two available spaces plus the one I was giving up. The next block was completely empty so there was plenty of parking, just not right by the front door.

Wild Geese is one of my "must stops" in Franklin. Tiffany and her crew are so accommodating and kind. The selection at Wild Geese is incredible for an independent bookstore. I can always find something there that I have to buy! The events they host are some of the best I've been to, and they always do a great job of selecting great authors! If you are a reader in any capacity, Wild Geese is worth the stop. They have books (obviously) stickers, candles, tote bags, tshirt, care packages, cook books, bookish items, and anything else you could dream up. I LOVE looking at their cards too, I always stop there first when I need a card!

An adorable converted house turned into a magical bookstore. Everything about this place makes you want to stay a while. There are 4 different rooms, including a children's books room and more of a crafty goods / knick knacks rooms. They offer both new reads and classic favorites. One aspect I loved was that several books around the shop were featured as "staff picks" so you could read about why the staff recommended these books. I was really impressed by the sales associate working there: she made it appoint to talk to everyone & had a great way of making connections & relating to everyone. It's enjoyable shopping in a place where workers genuinely enjoy their job. It's not a cheap shop though and there is no discount book section, so you might leave empty handed like me, but it was still extremely enjoyable!

Wild Geese is such a lovely little bookshop! Don't be fooled by the size of the space. The shop has a wide selection of books, including a variety of books by BIPOC and local authors, that spans many genres and audiences. They have gift items in addition to books, like local treats, enamel pins for book lovers, and super cute greeting cards. COVID safety note: they're only allowing five people inside at a time to allow for social distancing. I'm really looking forward to visiting again the future!

This is a charming little bookstore located a block off the main square in downtown historic Franklin. You'll find a mix to top sellers, recipe books, small clever gifts and a children's section in the back of the shop. It's a fairly small bookstore but they're able to place orders for you if something is not in their current inventory. My friend was able to pick out a quirky historic book as a Christmas gift. Prices seemed reasonable and in line with other independent shops (which are hard to come by in central Indiana). The children's section in the back is quaint but charming. It only would make sense that cozy and sweet Franklin would have an independently owned bookstore. Looking forward to future visits when I'm in town.

Ordered the Gosling box for my friend's baby. The shop picked out items for the box so it was a fun surprise for her and me!

This is a cozy little bookstore with barely enough room for a person to navigate the racks but I…read morelike it. It feels so intimate especially with the books laying on the shelves flat instead of standing up. This way you can read the titles easier instead of having to lean your head over to read the spines. This bookstore is well organized. Our old friend Ken said it best! The books are grouped by genre first, then alphabetical by author within the individual genre sections. I had no problem finding my favorite authors, Lee Child, Michael Connelly and Harlan Coben. For Karen Marie Moning, I had to ask, but the staff knew exactly where she was without having use a computer. She was on the very bottom and we had to get down to the floor to see her books. No wonder I couldn't find her selections. But fortunately the staff is very knowledgeable about their shop and very willing to help you. I was pressed for time so I didn't get to shop for as long as I would have liked to, but I found one gem for only $5. I had to rely on Books In Series Order dot com slash "Author's Name" instead of my usual typed lists (they were not as up to date as I would have liked). I'm near the end of reading all the Reacher novels and Harry Bosch novels have been completed. I'm beginning to buy all the Harlan Coben stand alone books I've skipped over in the past. I'm finding the newer Moning books to be very rare finds in her Fae series. I gotta come back here when I have more time. I just know there are more treasures hiding from me but I'll find them because I am determined.

This is an adorable shop! It's tucked into a small strip mall surrounded by several strip malls…read more(behind PNC, and to the north of the new Starbucks). I've always wanted to go, but didn't know what to expect so I waited. How silly of me! It's bright and clean and is full of books - both new and used (mostly used, of course). The prices are very fair and there were some great deals. Even new bestseller books were a dollar or more cheaper than the manufacturer price. A great deal of: - romance (historical romance paperbacks, especially) - children's books (used and new!) - westerns - Young Adult - Large Print - and basically everything you can think of! The woman worker provided great customer service - she explained how everything is set up and the multiple sales that were going on. I told her she had an adorable store and she told me it was her mother's! How awesome to have a family owned local bookstore in the neighborhood! I will definitely come back. Today I got some pirate bookmarks as a gift but there's a lot more to check out. You could be in here for hours looking at all the books.

There were alot of books to choose from. we were all able to find something . After which we went in to take a look around. They had a wonderful selection of childrens books, rare books as well. Its a medium sized spot but they fit a childrens corner in. I was pleased to find vintage Richie Rich and Sugar and Spike comic books for 1.00. This was certainly a wonderful place to stumble upon which had alot of gems inside. The vintage type writers were a really cool touch as well. Everything about this place was inviting and warm. At the cash register I came across an assortment of stickers and if you know me, you know I love stickers..Of course I grabbed a couple to complete my purchase. There is a space right by the door that has a sitting area, the leather chair was so comfortable but it was thw huge leather ottoman for me and the chess set that makes you wanna learn to play, if you do t already no how too. I could spend hours sitting and reading. Finally it was time to go but I will most certainly be back to see what other treasures I can find. Until next time Indy reads!!!
