So glad I was able to check out this store! I drove past a few months ago but they were closed. The store is pretty large and laid out in very organized sections. Some of the sections did have chairs and tables stacked near them so you couldn't do down some of the aisles. They have an ongoing deal of buy 3 get 2 free. Most of the paperbacks are about $4 and the hardbacks depend on if they are newer or not. They mainly have used books but they have a few new books. The store staff member said that if we signed up for the email list that he would give us an extra book for free so it ended up being buy 3 get 3 free. A great spot for books in Greenwood

Aisles and aisles of great books

This is a tucked away used bookstore with something for everyone. The prices are excellent and you can find tons of dvds amid the books ranging from newish to history to fiction to comics to gardening. The store is rather big so there is a lot of merchandise, but it is wildly scattered and you might find Jen's in a myriad of spots. We bought several books and got two free items - buy 3 and get 2 free is their policy! It was a bit like a goodwill type bookstore but because it had a bit of everything you could roam for quite some time. Scattered throughout are comfy reading chairs and some couches, plus the music heralded back to my growing up years which was fun. It is a great spot for some used books if you have time to browse.

Entrance near Steinmart

After dinner, I noticed an independent bookstore in the shopping center I was in (near Steinmart). I believe it is owned by the same folks who run the Books for Sale shop in Southern Plaza on the south side of Indy. What first caught my attention was that this place was huge! There were all kinds of books, some filed by category on regular shelves, but also tables where some special categories or fan favorites were placed. They also had vinyl and tapes/cd's as well. There were comics and graphic novels, lots of kids books, and just about any other category you might think of. The only problem with used book stores is that they may not have that one item in a series that you are looking for. But, there is a lot of turnover and if you want the discount prices, you have to be vigilant. And speaking of discounts, the rule of thumb is that if you pay for three items, you get a 4th and 5th items (the lower cost ones of the bunch) for free. You don't have to get them all in the same genre or shelf either. Anywhere in the store that has the signs on the book shelves are eligible. Seemed like a good deal. I thought the books I was picking up were priced very affordably as it was, but to then get the freebies was like a great deal! Plenty of parking and there are even a couple comfy spots to sit down inside the store. Seems like the guy inside was friendly and helpful and he was able to direct me to some items related to what I was looking for. Check them out! Review #2286

This is a cozy little bookstore with barely enough room for a person to navigate the racks but I…read morelike it. It feels so intimate especially with the books laying on the shelves flat instead of standing up. This way you can read the titles easier instead of having to lean your head over to read the spines. This bookstore is well organized. Our old friend Ken said it best! The books are grouped by genre first, then alphabetical by author within the individual genre sections. I had no problem finding my favorite authors, Lee Child, Michael Connelly and Harlan Coben. For Karen Marie Moning, I had to ask, but the staff knew exactly where she was without having use a computer. She was on the very bottom and we had to get down to the floor to see her books. No wonder I couldn't find her selections. But fortunately the staff is very knowledgeable about their shop and very willing to help you. I was pressed for time so I didn't get to shop for as long as I would have liked to, but I found one gem for only $5. I had to rely on Books In Series Order dot com slash "Author's Name" instead of my usual typed lists (they were not as up to date as I would have liked). I'm near the end of reading all the Reacher novels and Harry Bosch novels have been completed. I'm beginning to buy all the Harlan Coben stand alone books I've skipped over in the past. I'm finding the newer Moning books to be very rare finds in her Fae series. I gotta come back here when I have more time. I just know there are more treasures hiding from me but I'll find them because I am determined.

This is an adorable shop! It's tucked into a small strip mall surrounded by several strip malls…read more(behind PNC, and to the north of the new Starbucks). I've always wanted to go, but didn't know what to expect so I waited. How silly of me! It's bright and clean and is full of books - both new and used (mostly used, of course). The prices are very fair and there were some great deals. Even new bestseller books were a dollar or more cheaper than the manufacturer price. A great deal of: - romance (historical romance paperbacks, especially) - children's books (used and new!) - westerns - Young Adult - Large Print - and basically everything you can think of! The woman worker provided great customer service - she explained how everything is set up and the multiple sales that were going on. I told her she had an adorable store and she told me it was her mother's! How awesome to have a family owned local bookstore in the neighborhood! I will definitely come back. Today I got some pirate bookmarks as a gift but there's a lot more to check out. You could be in here for hours looking at all the books.

There were alot of books to choose from. we were all able to find something . After which we went in to take a look around. They had a wonderful selection of childrens books, rare books as well. Its a medium sized spot but they fit a childrens corner in. I was pleased to find vintage Richie Rich and Sugar and Spike comic books for 1.00. This was certainly a wonderful place to stumble upon which had alot of gems inside. The vintage type writers were a really cool touch as well. Everything about this place was inviting and warm. At the cash register I came across an assortment of stickers and if you know me, you know I love stickers..Of course I grabbed a couple to complete my purchase. There is a space right by the door that has a sitting area, the leather chair was so comfortable but it was thw huge leather ottoman for me and the chess set that makes you wanna learn to play, if you do t already no how too. I could spend hours sitting and reading. Finally it was time to go but I will most certainly be back to see what other treasures I can find. Until next time Indy reads!!!

I was thrilled to discover a new shop after passing through security to Terminal A at Indianapolis…read moreInternational Airport! As a frequent flyer I am a habitual browser (and random item purchaser) of fun gift shops and booksellers within airports. With IND being my home Airport I have been dismayed over the years that the shops have only been engaging or enjoyable to browse when the holiday merchandise of "A Christmas Story" comes through...Not anymore!!! ink by Hudson is a very welcome addition to not just the airport, but my new flight routine! Not anticipating a fun new store, ink was an exciting discovery today! There is a wide selection of books and a variety of Knick knacks and gift items that bring the store closer to what I see (and shop within) in larger airports I frequent like Boston, Charlotte, or LaGuardia! I was pleased to find markup minimal and on some items non existent, a rarity in airports these days. I encourage anyone with some spare time to stop in, perhaps just before an order of the famous shrimp cocktail of Harry and Izzy's?!
