Wild Greg's Saloon is a bit of a dive bar and I mean that in the best possible way. We grabbed a spot outside during the Pensacola Christmas parade and Wild Greg's had an outdoor bar set up, which made it an ideal place to park and enjoy the evening. Inside, the place fully commits to its personality. The bar stools are literal swings hanging from the ceiling. Yes, swings. It is exactly as entertaining as it sounds. The bar service was fast and mostly friendly, even with the crowd. There was live music going and plenty of pool tables, so there is always something happening. The energy is fun, casual, and unapologetically unpolished. This is not a posh wine bar and it is not trying to be. If you want a lively, slightly chaotic, very memorable local spot, you should absolutely check it out when you are in town. read more

1st things first, I don't think line dancing is my thing. Took a friend to try out the establishment and paid a 10$ under 21 fee for the girl just to vibe out upstairs and the impression of the music that was played upstairs was either "I'm a mf Redneck" 10x or the hybrid club western rap music that has become lucrative in the scene. The balcony was decent, but spent a total of 20 minutes upstairs, then headed downstairs to play some of the machines and pool. We're absolutely deplorable at pool. But it was only a buck in quarters for each game, and they had live music going downstairs which was a good vibe. If you were looking for a rating of drink or food? Nobody in that downstairs was eating anything and a couple of men were drinking beers. read more

If you're looking for a place where the drinks are cold and the bouncers are on a power trip, Wild Greg's has got you covered. The bartenders were friendly, the vibe was decent, but the bathroom policy is confusing. You're not allowed to bring drinks into the restroom (fine), but there's also no designated spot to leave them. I asked the bouncer politely if he could keep an eye on mine for a moment. A few minutes later, he stormed into the women's bathroom to loudly announce, "I'm not waiting for you all night that's not my job." It felt unnecessarily aggressive for such a minor request, especially when there's no clear solution offered by the bar. The rest of the staff was great, but the bouncer seemed more interested in flexing authority than helping guests. A little professionalism would have gone a long way. read more

Aggressive and unfriendly bouncers/security. They instigate fights with patrons on a regular basis. Bartenders are known to serve watered down drinks and over charge patrons, when bringing this to their attention management is often brought over and patron escorted out with no refund. Multiple customers have observed and video recorded patrons being tossed down the flight of stairs by over aggressive security. MANY reports of people being roofied here as well, definitely not a safe or friendly environment. Would not recommend this place. read more

Boot scoot, whip nae nae, come twist the night away at downtown Pensacola's premier country club offering the most expansive dance floor in the city with 2 bars & a balcony overlooking Palafox St.  Come join them each Thursday Friday & Saturday as DJ Trevor plays the hottest mix from the latest country & coolest dance hits spinning it on the 1's and 2's.   I discovered this place on a Yelp search for clubs in Pensacola after I attended an event that ended early & I still wanted to party beyond 7p. I looked at their pics and web site before I took the 30min drive to see what it was about. It reminded me a bit of Whiskey Jack's in Memphis so I decided to take the drive. The interior of their club is themed something reminiscent of Soul Train meet Nashville as the party environment is lively & laid back with a diversive crowd of young and old. When it comes to the drink selection it's expansive but nothing special offering all the favorites in beers & liquors that we are use to. Their staff I didn't interact with so I really can't speak for them. Except for the bartenders as they seemed pretty hospitable & good at what they do. I pretty much enjoyed my time here & will be back to party further on the weekends I spend in Pensacola. I'll definitely be riding their mechanical bull also on my next visit. The woman who took my card for the cover fee stole a dollar for a tip. When i signed the receipt she asked "no tip?" To which i said "no?" I signed the receipt for two cover fees ($10.37) and the next day my card was charged $11.37. 1: no you don't get a tip because you didn't provide a service. You swiped my card. 2: you'll probably never get a tip if you ask for one. 3: you committed theft. It was only a dollar but it's the principle. Who else have you stolen from? The woman had black hair and a nose piercing and looked like she was miserable which is probably why she felt the need to steal a dollar from me. Have been standing outside the back of the bar for 30 minutes and 2 people have been taken out for being roofied. Both males. Both taken to the hospital by EMS. Absolutely do not recommend to anyone! Wouldn't get let in because one member of our group was wearing a white t shirt and another one was wearing sweatpants...? Also we were underage coming from another 18+ bar so we had black Xs on our hands, and they said we couldn't enter with those either. Huh?? We asked them why they had so many rules upon entry and all they said was "oh this signs just been up forever." We we're like come on it's our last night in Pensacola! And they were like "oh it's lame tonight, no one's in there anyway." Hmmm maybe because you're denying everyone entry?? We had the option of going back, changing/scrubbing our hands, then coming back later and we opted not to because the guards were just rude overall. This place is horrid. I went with a group of friends Friday night and only three of us got drinks from the bar. None of us got enough drinks to be drunk or even sick from drinking. Saturday we all felt fine until late at night when things took a turn for the worst. Around 3 am Sunday morning/Saturday night all of us started throwing up violently and it was coming out of the other end just as much. We have all been violently sick (my personally this is the sickest I've felt in my entire life and I caught covid in the pandemic). The other two that I was with that got sick ended up in the hospital and the only reason I didn't go to the hospital was because I physically could not move without throwing up so violently. We thought it was just us until one of our friends said that someone he knew was at Greg's the same night and he messaged them and she said that her and whoever she was with that had drinks from the bar also got violently sick with all the same symptoms. I honestly don't know what it could of been but right now we are leaning towards some type of bacteria that is somewhere it shouldn't be that's getting people sick. Greg's is unsafe in every way. Honorable mention: this is a separate incident that happened to one of our friends but one time she was at Greg's and was drugged from being injected with a needle by someone while she was there. The trashiest most cruel set of low life bouncers and staff. My brother in law's wristband pushed up his arm, under his button down and was mistaken that he gave his wristband to an underage drinker. Upon showing the bouncers his wristband, to clear the water, they shoved him to the ground and dragged him to the elevator. My husband tried to back him up with an explanation for the misunderstanding and the bouncers inside took him down as well. We approached a police officer outside and all he could say was "this happens so often." How is this acceptable? The city needs to get involved after witnessing this and then reading eerily similar stories in the reviews here on Yelp and other review sites. How is this bar still operating? read more

Attended the Drake McMillan concert last night. The show was awesome but the venue is terrible. No serious artist should play at this venue. We waited 2 1/2 hours for the show to start and the air conditioning was turned up so cold that everybody was freezing. The manager said the thermostats were locked, and she couldn't change it, they were selling hoodies for the show but you were not allowed to wear them so you couldn't warm up. They also wouldn't let you leave the show to go get a coat from your car definitely would not visit this venue again. read more

Not really sure why such the bad reviews....came here Friday night to see Neil McCoy. Jessie Ritter opened for him. Great show!!! Drinks were good and reasonably priced. The staff was very friendly with the exception of one security guard who was kind of rude and acted as though he had a God complex, "you can't' stand here" and "you can't be here near the equipment " even though none of the other employees had said anything about where we were. The only other thing that I think would make it better is more seating. There's plenty of room for more stools. Overall though, it was a great night! read more

We were turned away at the door and asked to leave because a Type-1 diabetic was told he could not bring his bag of medical devices (insulin pens, needles, lancer, lancets, meter, test strips, sharps container) into the bar because, "bags aren't allowed," despite telling and showing the college kid bouncers at the door that the bag contained the devices. We asked why women were allowed with purses to which they responded, "because they just are." When I asked to speak to a manager or get a phone number or email of a general manager or owner I was told we had to leave. So they discriminate men (Title VII violation) for carrying bags and the disabled (Title II violation) for needing to carry their life-supporting devices with them. read more

I would rate this business negative stars if I could. Wild Greg's is a business full of hothead and money stealing staff members. I entered Wild Greg's at 11:00 P.M. wearing a beanie and paid for my entry after having only one drink. The staff at the door said nothing about my hat (keep in mind, the staff member who checked my ID was wearing an identical hat) and approved my entry saying nothing about my beanie. I went into the women's restroom and as I was washing my hands, as male staff member yelled into the bathroom regarding my hat (seems odd right that he was staring in). He then walked away, so I put my hat back on. Upon walking out of the bathroom, security rushed over and told me I was being kicked out because of my beanie. It seems as if the employee at the door let me inside only to be kicked out by the upstairs employees. I will never return to Wild Greg's and will discourage anyone who asks me about this business from going. Wild Greg's has had many complaints, including sexualizing underage girls, and I will never return to this establishment. read more

This nightclub is great for some country line dancing, but I highly suggest going before midnight. After then it is more of a club with today's music than some good 'ole country that I came here for. Regardless, there is always a line out the door, bartenders are always ready to help you with a drink and the location is clean. I wouldn't recommend making your plans on Thursday night where you only have to be 18 to get in, but it's a fun time to go for a while when your out in downtown Pensacola. read more

The security are the worst people I have ever met. The female security worker is very rude, so bad that it almost ruins my night every now and then. If you go to the woman's restroom she will treat you like you're in prison and you do anything slightly wrong or she will kick you out. Went to wild gregs a couple weekends ago. They wouldn't let two of my guy friends in because they had on white shirts but let me in with my all white shirt. It was my friends 21st birthday so we went in anyways while the guys went to Seville. My friend went straight to the bathroom to take a shit because we ate Mexican before (bad choice I know) but they came and banged on her door and said she had two seconds to get out or they're arresting her. She came out of the bathroom and they cut her wristband. She told them to eat her shit and left her shit in the toilet for them. read more
