My wife and I bought tickets to see the Steel Woods, one of our favorite bands that we've seen numerous times because my cousins band used to open for them. We saw the opening act. Then my wife went to the restroom with an empty beer in her hand. She didn't know that wasn't allowed. They kicked us out for that. I've never heard of such crap in all my life. Hopefully good bands like the Steel Woods will never play this place again!!! It sucks because we didn't get to see one of our favorite bands over a stupid beer can taken to the restroom. This is not a review of the bar but of the drink stand set up on the sidewalk during Gallery Nights. Wife and I stopped by their stand on 5-22-2015 to pick up a lemonade type drink they were selling for $10 in a plastic quart jar. Before my wife could order a gentelman stepped up and told the attendant his drink was wattered down. They gave him a new one and I was thinking "well, some people are just picky". My wife got her drink made a face and asked me to try it. It was not quite ALL water but damn near. Told the young lady who rolled her eyes, took the drink and handed us another that was already made and sitting on the table. It was just the same. Told the young lady again, "this is all water, take a straw and taste this". Her reply was another eye roll and "well, it comes out of a gun" I again said to all three of the people working the stand "I'm not trying to be a jerk or making this up, one of you shold taste this stuff and see what you're selling". Just went to go in on a Thursday night for a bachelorette at 12:47AM. Woman at register did not give us an answer to when they closed. The security man and guy giving out wrist bands said nothing. They just wanted last minute cash even though they were closing soon. The place was DEAD and gave no one our money back when all we did was walk up the stairs to see no one there. If you're in the age range of 18-35, this is the place for you during 10:30PM-2:00AM. If you want to Two-Step/West Coast-East Coast Swing, then go between 7:00PM-10:30PM... Terrible Bar Service.. downright ignored for a half an hour.. Was forced to buy extra drinks because I was charged for 5 instead of 4 and was told it already charged my card before signing... Low and behold 4 days later when my card was charged I was charged 23.50 instead of the 17.50 I signed off on. That's downright unprofessional handling of customer's money. Im not here to get the lousy 6 bucks.. but Wild Greg's needs to tighten some screws and listen to the negative accounts that customer's have. Its 2016.. you should be able to accept a debt card without issue, and if you make a mistake.. you shouldnt just force the customer to buy more product then overcharge in the process. first and last time I'll be back ***Was also charged 3 dollars twice to get a 20 dollar bill out of the ATM....really might be the most money hungry establishment in Pensacola.. Take your money elsewhere. This bar not only sexually harasses their female employees but also treats it's customers with utmost disrespect. They cuss at you and throw you out for no reason at all using extreme force.My first experience at this bar I was yelled at because my boyfriend and I were dancing and he barely lifted my feet off the ground. Not even 10 minutes later I was also yelled at because there were no open chairs and I sat on his lap (mind you the two of us together weigh less than the manager). I felt like I was at a high school dance where I had to stand arms length apart from my partner to avoid getting yelled at. Line dancing is for me, which makes Wild Greg's Saloon for me. I must come here more and dance in lines with strangers. Also, drinks are decently priced, the big room is well-ventilated, and there is a mechanical bull. Not every song played is for line dancing so there is a chance for twerking and such. The only place for country music, line dancing, and two stepping in Pensacola, unfortunately. Pros and cons: Pros: 1)there are some regulars there that are absolutely AMAZING and are super sweet and will literally teach anyone to dance that wants to. I learned to dance from them and they were very friendly to both guys and girls. 2) SOME of the staff is really nice 3) really cool venue Now Cons: 1) the owner is terrible. I'll leave it at that about him, I could go on about him for days from people that used to work there. (The owner is the really fat, creepy looking guy) 2) $3 cover starts at 9, really means 830 just a heads up. 3) you have to pay for water. 4) no: drinks on the dance floor, standing in "walkways", moving chairs, I could go on. The place is awesome, the management ruins it. Some of the bouncers are terrible, others are great. The worst place I have ever went to. I came with a good attitude and the person taking payment (zack) had the same worst attitude. I recently met up with a friend I haven't seen in a long time and accidentally handed zack my ID and he said "I don't need your fucking ID I need your card". I was in shock when He said this. I handed him my card and told him that he didn't need to be so rude. He then proceded to tell me that if I had an attitude that I could "get the fuck out". My sister behind me also didn't have a good experience with him, he cussed her out and made her cry. I tried to talk to the manager, not sure what her name was but she was not helpful at all. She made us feel very belittled and said that zack had never acted like that before. When I told her how I felt she started to get aggressive with me. I soon after tried to talk to the owner and her gave no mind to the situation. At one point the manager tried to get us kicked out because we made a deal about the situation we had experienced. This is not the place for anyone of color. Me and my friends definitely feel like this event was racially impacted and we went about it a very respectful way, yet we got no where. I will continue to write on this company because this is not the first racial discrimination complaint they have. This is unacceptable for any company. this is my second time coming to this dump and i've never felt so uncomfy in my life. I was trying to buy myself a drink and the bartender was giving me the weirdest vibes. He was young looking like low 20's he had brown hair and some facial beard hair. I went there yesterday on a Friday night. He was working at the bar and he kept starting at me like he was trying to get laid that night. I thought he was planning to steal me at the end of the night. I'm glad i had my taser on me but i don't think it would do enough damage by how hard he was staring at me. He was an attractive looking guy so you'd think he'd know how to flirt or at least had a decent sex life but jesus why was he licking his lips at me. At one moment I looked over to see if he was still staring and he winked at me. I have a bf but even if i didn't that's not how to flirt with someone especially while ur working. I purchased a VIP ticket to see Matt Stell at Wild Greg's Saloon in Pensacola. The ticket holders were sent a last minute email directing to show at 5 pm vice 6 pm. There was no one to open the door at 5 pm and the door didn't open until 6 pm. I'm not quite sure what that was all about. Wild Greg's Saloon wasn't at fault as the ticket seller didn't think to notify them of the time change. Anyhow, Carl, one of Wild Greg's Saloon managers arrived and unlocked the door and let us in. Carl was awesome. He apologized for everyone having to stand outside for an hour. He made sure everyone was checked in and taken care of. He checked back with us during the venue to see if we needed anything. He was everywhere making sure things were running smoothly. Thanks Carl for making a rough start into a stellar evening. Tonight was my first night going to Wild Greg's. The venue seems nice from the outside, but as you walk in, you'll be greeted by one of the most polite gentlemen in this here city, Kori. This man is an absolute fucking legend. He would prefer to give up his left nut than to show some humanity for even 1 second. A couple of friends and I decided to have a good night, and this man, Kori, was like, "nah, I'm just gonna let you guys pay to get in, stop your friend from getting in, even though he was obviously 18+, and then NOT give you guys refunds, even though you haven't even walked up the stairs yet." Obviously we were not going in without our friend, but Kori persisted and refused to give me my money back at the very least. Well, the atmosphere was fine, the service was fine, but they refused to give us tap water, forcing us to pay for bottled, and they don't offer water fountains. Which FYI, is ILLEGAL. This place is a lot of fun. Regardless of whether you are into country music or not. The bartenders are great and the scenery is fantastic. You have all ages there and also a good mix of personalities. Like any place in Pensacola you have your regulars and you will know within seconds who they are because they know every dance that's coming. They only add to the environment though. came here on vacation to have a good time with a couple friends and the staff was so beyond disrespectful from the moment we walked in. the security had the worst attitude ive ever seen. one of my friends got on another persons shoulders because we thought itd be fine (since back home at the clubs it isnt an issue) but security marched over to us and immediately started yelling at us to "get the fck out", i politely tried to explain that we werent from here and we didnt know and we were sorry and they called the manager and they started to get in our faces and yell and put their hands on us (women)- mostly me-and since i felt threatened by the men manhandling me i threw my drink in attempt to get them to let go of me but they put my hands behind my back and dragged me out of the club, took a picture of me, called me a bunch of names that i probably cant type on here, and told me not to come back. dont come here, the staff is insane. i woke up with bruises on my arms. a bunch of people were getting kicked out for no reason, there were at least 5 different people that said they also got kicked out and that staff was so disrespectful to them as well. read more

My coworkers and I went out and were let in thinking we would have a good time but that was not the case. 30 minutes after paying and getting in we were told that no backpacks were allowed although my "backpack" was really a purse and the bouncer hadn't said anything about it when we walked in. We were then told to move our drinks since we were on the dance floor which is 100% understandable and not an issue. Then as time passed we went to use the bathroom. As we were waiting for our friends to finish we noticed a security guard in the bathroom and asked if she needed to wash her hands but she simply stated she was "waiting for us to finish" as in get out of the bathroom. She then proceeded to state that we were not allowed to "wait" in the bathroom as it is not a meeting place.
