We stopped in on a Sunday later in the AM, it was pretty busy. It's in a bit of an industrial area so most of the parking is street but wasn't too hard finding a spot within a block and a half. They had QR codes to scan for the menu otherwise a smaller menu to look at once you get to the counter. I went in knowing I wanted the seasonal spring flight. Came with 3 flavors- Paschal Moon (espresso) , Garden Fog (matcha) & Spumoni Mocha. You can get it iced or hot as well as choose your milk preference. I got iced w/ dairy milk. The Espresso was my favorite flavor wise. Overall I felt like they had a very good variety of specialty drinks, fun things to try. They had a few pastries as well. It's a shared space with a brewery that starts serving beer at 12pm. A food truck present and there was a craft fair going on which was cool. If I was rating just the Iced Neapolitan Latte it would be 5 stars - I've tried a regular iced vanilla oat latte (my usual) and the maple cold brew and both drinks I wouldn't order here again buuuut the Neapolitan keeps me coming back (and spending $8 ) and bonus points because the "strawberry milk" can be made with the alt milks. The shop / brewery gets busy and loud on weekends or during sporting events but the outdoor seating is such a nice perk! I might possibly have fallen in love with horchata chai. If you've tried it, you won't blame me a bit. If you've haven't, you should really consider it (unless you don't like sweet and spicy soul-comforting hugs in a cup). I came here to meet some friends and enjoy the lovely fall weather. It was easy to find parking on the street (bonus!). It was a truly fun experience. While there's tons of seating inside, we opted to sit outside, where there are picnic tables (covered and uncovered) and chairs that surround what I think are fire pits. The coffee shop is right next to the brewery, so we had fun looking at all the options available. They're truly extensive, and in addition to the classics, there are tons of creative options as well. I was excited to try this local spot once again! It is a popular place for morning meetings and I can see why! Nice natural light and casual vibe with nice seating options, indoor and out. The service is kind and quick, but I'd say it isn't my favorite coffee in town. I tried the You Betcha iced coffee with maple syrup and sea salt -- it was nice to try but I probably wouldn't personally opt for it again. Overall, it's a great space to work from, hang out, sit outside, etc. It has a really bright and welcoming atmosphere, with big garage doors that make it an open space. The baristas were really friendly and helpful. I went on a cool summer day and wasn't expecting it to be open like that, so I was pretty bummed we couldn't stay long because I was freezing sitting inside. I tried the seasonal blueberry basil latte, which was too milky for me-- I could barely taste the espresso. The syrup was great, it just tasted like more of a steamer than a latte. I also can't justify paying $1 everytime for alternative milks when the coffee is already $6+ and normally return to places that have that as a free option. This place definitely had some Wild Grinds! This vibrant coffee shop/brewery cross over was a hidden gem. The decor really leaned into the warehouse vibe and I love that it was dog friendly. They have a great outdoor space with a covered area. I tried the coffee flight, which was definitely a little gimmicky but I thought it was fun. I was surprised they gave us 3 full sized (I think 8oz?) coffees to try. I expected way less. If you do this I may recommend sharing with a friend because it was too much caffeine for one person. In terms of flavors, they were seasonal and definitely played into the cute names/insta worthiness. I thought the kiss of sage was super interesting and really liked the kick in the midnight in cayenne. I personally wasn't a fan of the peppermint mocha one. You could tell they used a syrup for the flavor and it separated a bit at the top (my friend really liked it though). Wild Grind seems to take their coffee as seriously as they take their beer. Which is a great thing in my book. I've been to Wild Mind(same place different hours) many times so the space is not new and more brewery like than coffee shop so it's missing some cozy seating that I would like in a coffee shop but everything else is exactly like I like it. They have great options for coffee purists like me. Single origin beans, pour overs, and espresso. They also have some intriguing sounding lattes which aren't usually my jam but I look forward to stealing a taste of my wife's next time I pick one up for her. I was at the Richfield DMV and needed a treat for withstanding that mandatory adulting requirement... and had a little extra time to kill: cue Wild Grind. Wild Grind - I think it named after all the millennials that are trying to do a 'wild grind' in this thing called life. You'll see them sitting around this place at 8:45am on a Friday. I was happy to could find a place that wasn't one of the mainstream places, prices are only slightly higher than what you'd hope for. Trying to live out my pre-single mom days, I was elated to see coffee flights on the menu. Delightful and delicious it didn't disappoint. I just wish I had someone to share it with. If you're looking for a place for good coffee AND beer, then Wild Grind Coffee is for you! I met a friend here for a coffee break and was so glad we tried it out! Vibe: It definitely has a warehouse feeling to it. I loved all the big tables and lots of folks were working/studying. Coffee/Food: I got the Paschal Moon (a rose cardamom latte). If you get a small you can drink from a real cup, which was more than large enough. My friend got the Cosmo & Wanda (such a fun name and it was a matcha+strawberry milk drink). Both were DELICIOUS. Some of the best fun coffee/tea drinks I've ever had. I also got the flan danish and again, YUM. If you've ever had a Portuguese Pastéis de Nata (custard tart) it tasted kind of like that. Perfectly flaky and not overly sweet. Parking: Not amazing. Wild Grind is locating in a warehouse area and there is street parking. 10/10 would come back again. Wild Grind was HOPPIN' when we stopped by on Sunday afternoon. What a great outdoor space! Perfect for the nice weather. We came for coffee, so I can't comment on the brewery, but it seemed like most of the patrons were really enjoying the afternoon libations. As far as coffee goes, we enjoyed our drinks. I will say, they are not cheap. This is the most expensive latte I've ever purchased - $8.50 for a vanilla oat milk latte. That's pretty steep. It was good, but not incredible - certainly not $8 incredible. My husband tried one of their seasonal iced drinks, the Wild Sunrise, which is espresso, orange juice, and cherry cream syrup. That was fantastic and very unique. We had an odd experience with the girl who took our order. She seemed so annoyed, even put her head down on the counter while we decided what to order. There was no one in line behind us, and it took us maybe 30 seconds to decide, so it's not like we were holding up the show. I'll chalk it up to having a bad day? But it was an awkward encounter. The barista who made our drinks was friendly, so there's that. Heard about this spot from a client of mine and needed to check it out for my afternoon pick-me-up today! Trust your GPS...I know it might not seem like you're in the right spot, but you are! Tucked into what I imagine is a fairly industrial part of town is this gem. Big indoor/outdoor space, a permanent food truck, and a brewery/coffee shop combo! Perfect spot to gather with others over the summer! Service was alright...the bartender/barista was on a phone call while helping me, and while he didn't necessarily do anything wrong, I was a bit put-off by the experience. The coffee was delicious, albeit overpriced. I got the Cherry Blossom, which was a cherry-inspired iced latte. It was yummy and well-balanced (I asked for half the normal amount of syrup) but probably wouldn't go back for a $7 iced latte. Also...the dreaded paper straws...I wish we could all get on the train of straw-less recyclable lids. A large room with double garage doors leading to a patio and long tables which you'll probably have to share on busy days but there's is plenty of outdoor light filling the place which is otherwise kind of bland intentionally. If you've ever been to Black Stack Brewery it's that kind of factory vibe. The order is set on a counter in another room and mine was not called out. I love that Wild Mind has entered the coffee game. I'd only ever been to Wild Mind and have loved the space, so when I got the chance to meet a friend for coffee at Wild Grind I was excited to try a different type of drink in the same space! I tried their pumpkin mocha and it was absolutely delicious. The use of dark chocolate mixed with the pumpkin was the perfect fall drink - not too sweet, and really rich in taste. Although I live nearby Wild Grind was new to me. It isn't easy to find as it is located just off of 60 Street South between Lyndale and Nicollet Avenues in an industrial area. The building itself looks like a warehouse and is easy to miss. Parking is not easy. Wild Grind Coffee turns into Wild Mind Brewery in the late afternoon which can also be confusing. They have a variety of coffee and tea drinks but no food was apparent. The coffee was good. The ambience is basic. Furnishings are comprised of wooden picnic tables with attached benches. Not particularly comfortable. Noise level is pretty high. Although some reviewers mention having meetings there the noise and seating arrangements make this problematic. They have a nice area for outdoor seating. At 9 am they were busy and the crowd is much younger than Patrick's. I think the Yelp average rating of about four stars is where it should be. read more

Very interesting twist in their coffee by incorporating herbs. There is a small parking lot right in front of the café, otherwise it's mainly street parking. A lovely third space for the Richfield/Windom area! Lovely natural light, a solid offering of rotating food, and delicious coffee. It tends on the acidic side for the discerning type, but I love it! And while the drinks can be slightly higher priced, theyre tasty! I do wish there were more outlets strewn about for the working crowd (there are only one or two outlets so theyre taken very quick) and the place could benefit from having the equipment to push out the orders slightly faster, but these are silly grievances when the place is all around a wonderful spot and one were gracious to have in the neighborhood! read more
