The coffee is delicious, the staff is friendly, the atmosphere is warm, and the establishment is locally owned. What's not to love about Wild Hero? My only complaint - and it's not that big of a deal - is that I'd like to see more vegan-friendly pastries. A little soy milk can be substituted for dairy, while egg replacement powder could easily be substituted for egg without changing the flavor or texture of the baked goods. Anyway, Wild Hero is the best place to get coffee in Mustang. Disappointing to say the least. This used to be my favorite coffee shop, but it has quickly lost my favor. Not only have the prices risen but the cups have shrunk. They are more expensive than Starbucks and have nothing to show for it. They lack nutrition facts. With the launch of their app, I thought they would have definitely invested in making the nutritional information Available to their customers. In the day and age we live in you would think it would be a common sense thing to provide nutritional information. We can still have a sweet treat but make better decisions about them. I.e. ordering your frozen drink with sugar free syrup, skim milk, or no whip. Thoroughly disappointed with wild hero. Would not recommend this coffee shop. read more

We stopped into this little fast food joint turned coffee house this morning and I'm glad we gave it a shot. There aren't many local coffee shops west of the metro, so it was a nice find. We just needed a quick bite and some caffeine, so we each ordered a breakfast panini and a coffee. The cashier seemed pretty new and maybe a little unfamiliar with coffee (skinny vanilla latte seemed to trip him up) but fortunately the barista knew what she was doing and made me an excellent cuppa. It was a little sweet, but I didn't order my standard one pump of vanilla for fear of throwing the cashier for a loop. The breakfast paninis were pretty standard. I would've loved for the eggs to have a little salt & pepper thrown in for flavor, but BZ had the sausage and that provided more flavor than my ham, so that may be the way to go. For a latte, drip coffee and 2 sandwiches it was $14-- not too bad but definitely won't make a habit of it unless we are out and about. They also sell bottled sodas like you would find at Pop's and had an impressive pastry case, so there's a little something for everyone any time of day. read more

Wild Hero Coffee house just opened here in Mustang, Ok. On this occasion I tried both the sausage breakfast panini and the turkey bacon ranch panini, accompanied by a large iced mocha. I recommend both panini's, as they were excellent! The iced mocha I had was very good, all this at a better price and service than at Starbucks. Wild Hero also has pastries that, while i haven't tried, look delicious. Wild Hero carries a wide range of sodas from Jones bottling and naked juices, if your not in the mood for one of their excellent menu selections. If you are an internet junkie, wi-fi is available for your use. If you wish to be outside there is a large patio area or you can sit inside on their oversized furniture. This place is AWESOME! I'm not a coffee expert, but I know what I like, and the coffee here is my favorite in the area. But that's just the start. Their staff is always smiling and friendly and eager to help. Drinks are made fairly quickly, though they have room to improve the way they're brought out (need a name or something--I've had a couple times where someone else has mistakenly picked up my drink and they've had to remake it for me). The inside is a great place to work, as well. Lots of outlets and tables for work or study. I work from home and I often come by for a few hours if I want a change of scenery. During the day it's fairly quiet unless a group is there (I've seen book clubs, church groups, etc. meeting there), and so long as you have some headphones to drown out the stock coffee shop music. There are also some couches for those who prefer to relax while sipping their drinks. Have only sampled a few of the snacks on offer (they have the usual pastries, along with some sandwich and panini options), but they have all been tasty. Make sure to pick up a loyalty card! Ten drinks earns you a free coffee. They add up quickly! read more
