My husband and I got breakfast here on our way out from camping on the spit. This was a super cute little cafe! The ordering area is small but there's another building next to it that has a bunch of seating for customers. The staff were super friendly and helpful even though they were very busy. My husband got the TBA and I got the Deja Vu. Our food took a long time to come out but I think that's because the TBA is supposed to only be served after 11 and I don't think the cashier knew that but they made it for us anyways even though it was 9. The Deja Vu was good but more plain than I was expecting. This one is why I have 4 stars and not five. There was nothing on top and all the items listed as being in the crepe must have been mixed into the meat cause it was just meat, cheese, and egg. Not sure it was worth the price and I got tired of the meat pretty quick which is probably just a me thing but idk if I'd get that again. The TBA was great! It wasn't dry or soggy and it was HUGE! It's a quirky little place just inside of Homer proper. Hubs and I went to Homer for Mother's Day weekend, we were supposed to go fishing... that's a whole other story about boats and reliability. He ate a good sized breakfast, I did not. So, by the time we got to Homer from Anchorage, I was hungry! We found this place through Yelp and stopped in for a bite. I had the BLT, it was amazing! The croissant was definitely freshly made, the aioli was yummy, also. It was a bit pricey, as Homer tends to be. They have a short window for the season and need to capitalize on the foot traffic. The sandwich I had was delicious and the service was pretty quick. Hubs wasn't hungry so he had a latte and thought it was tasty. I can imagine during peak season it might be a bit congested and a longer wait. Good luck to all y'all who visit between May and September! read more

I visited Wild Honey Bistro on my way out of town and was excited to try their crepes and grab an ice coffee for the road. I ordered a custom crepe that reminded me of what I used to get in Paris with just ham and Swiss cheese. The crepe was nicely prepared without being too heavy. The cafe is super cozy but very tiny. The line was out the door by the time I ordered and there was not really any space to wait for the food. Fortunately they opened a second shed feeling building where I was able to sit at a table and wait for my food until they brought it out of me. My main disappointment was that the didn't serve iced lattes, which I thought was very odd. I only drink my coffee iced and since it was the end of a warm week it would have been very nice. I wound up having a glass of Costco orange juice. For me, this place was hit and miss, but may fair better for someone else. read more

Received a recommendation, so on a Sunday morning at about 10 am, we got in line on the outside deck. It appeared to be organized chaos but turned out to be a well-oiled machine. You step up and order from the sandwich specials, sweet or savory crepe boards. We went for the Bugie Beef and Crepe Madam. You then find a seat from the quickly turned over rustic tables. We had several locals highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast. They specialize in crêpes so we both ordered savory renditions. My particular crepe just did not ring my bell so I pushed it to the side and waited for my husband to finish his. A waitress came out and took my plate and asked if everything was OK and I told her it just wasn't to my liking. The owner came out and was very concerned about the plate she saw returned to the kitchen and wanted to make sure there was nothing horribly wrong with it. I told her it was just fine, it just wasn't my cup of tea. She replaced it with a chai cinnamon roll that was an A+. It saved the breakfast and I was blown away by her excellent customer service. This is such a cute spot! If I lived in Homer I would be addicted. I had the hot honey latte and was pleasantly surprised, as well a chunk of the lemon berry monkey bread. Such a fun, tasty treat to start the day. The inside of the cafe is really lovely and I enjoyed the french jazz music. Made for a nice environment to sit and read for a spell. Usually when in Homer we're up early for activities, but finally got to give this place a try. It did not disappoint! Another staple added to my list of Homer restaurants! The crepes here were delicious! They have plenty of different options to choose from. Their menu is easy to decipher, and the only issue you will have is trying to decide if you want sweet or savory (correct answer is both, obviously). The place is small with limited seating indoors, but ample outdoor seating. It's located in Homer's historical downtown area so it's super quaint. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Aside from the crepes they offer a selection of pastries, hot/cold coffee beverage options, and different flavored mimosas. The crepes are made to order, and are whipped up reasonable fast. They are a good sized portion and loaded with toppings. My favorite was the smoked salmon out of the savory that we sampled. The berries sweet crepe was light and refreshing. The perfect "breakfast dessert". Next time you're in Homer be sure to wander away from the spit over to Wild Honey for some breakfast! read more

Stopped here for brunch. The staff was so kind and helpful. We ordered 4 entrees and a few drinks. The drinks came out quickly despite the restaurant being completely packed.
