Cart path only is expected on par 3's but on half the par 4's too? Greens were recently punched ok thats fine can understand that but the fairways were in bad shape. Chipping green is ok if you don't mind some rocks in the sand trap, no range but some cages with mats to practice off of. Half the holes are well laid out and give you fairway to work with. They do have state of the art gps carts and a huge pro shop so thats some saving grace. For the price play anywhere else. read more

Enjoyed 18 holes with a nice, older gentleman (the course paired us up). Absolutely stunning Mountain views while playing a very well cared for course. Only complaint was the wives both had to pay to ride in the cart with us! That made it a little expensive; otherwise, I plan to return to play again, but it's doubtful my wife will pay to watch. read more

Cart path only until April, we were told. It only rained 3 times in the month of December. Today is January 2nd. Ridiculous to pay that much $ and walk that much, for no legitimate reason. Greens are sub par right now. Should lower the rates, if I'm walking half the course and the green are this bad. Clubhouse is amazing and views are great, employees are very nice. read more

This course is very unique and makes for a very fun round of golf! The clubhouse is lovely and is stocked with anything a golfer might need. There also a good variety of snacks and drinks as well! (Pro tip: their hot dogs are very good!) I absolutely loved the golf carts here! They all have touch screens and GPS technology. I was able to connect my phone via Bluetooth and stream my own music in the cart. Very, very cool experience! Would play again! read more

This is by far the most poorly maintained golf course I have ever played. The grass is dry and brown, and there is grass clippings everywhere. There is mud and poorly working drains. Farther, they set up tee times and then don't follow them. We arrived 20 minutes early and then teed off 20 minutes late because the group in-front of us teed off 40 minutes late. There was another group that then teed off 2 minutes after us and the began trying to rush us. They cited a 15 minute rule, however we were on each hole less than 10 and could not go faster because of the group ahead of us. This a sorry excuse for a golf course, and has no class or etiquette. I will not return, and I would absolutely never recommend it. read more

Went with my dad and boyfriend who are big golfers while on vacation! They said amazing greens, great fairways, beautiful views, one of the best maintained courses they have ever seen! The staff was so nice and they have good snacks and drinks! Hole 12 is spectacular and any golfer needs to play it once in your golf career! read more

Played yesterday on an absolutely beautiful TN day. The course is in good shape and should really green up soon. Greens have been over seeded so they are a little long. Should smooth out well once the warmer weather and they mow them shorter. All in all a good course and the difference in front and back are evident. Live and play course in Florida and flat is what I am used to but loved some of the shots required at Bent Creek. Always play here when we are up here in Gatlinburg. read more

The good: Course layout offers some amazing views. The 12th hole in particular is an amazing view and a fun hole. The electric golf carts were very nice, they would even slow themselves down when going down hills, which was cool since there are a lot of elevation changes. The bad: Through the first few holes the course is very well maintained. After that the tee boxes are really destroyed on all par 3s and par 4s that could require an iron or hybrid off the tee. It also just rained very hard two days before we played here, it was still cart path only but then the rangers were coming out and our groups cart was getting notifications about being behind the place of play which was very annoying. If you book a tee time for only 2 people you will be paired with 2 others, which isn't really what you want especially when the green fees are $75 a person. Price wise, I don't think it's worth $75. We play more well maintained course back in Ohio for $50 per person. Overall it was still fun, we made the best out of it. Would maybe come back. read more

We booked two for golf and when we got there we were paired with two singles. That was a little surprise and took some fun out of it. The course itself is very unique and fun to play. There were lots of hills and beautiful views of the mountains. As others commented, the grounds care leaves some to be desired. The weeds were thick in the rough. It seems simple weed spraying and watering would make the grass better. They only allowed carts on the path so be prepared for lots of walking up and down hills. That was not ideal in the heat. If they had better turf care I would have given it five stars. read more

Everyone that pays to play should have as much time as their group requires within reason like 15mins per hole especially when you are playing with your children but here they rush you through the course will never play here again all about the money not the game read more

Played 3/18/22 course is in dreadful condition, front 9 is closed , cart path only took nearly 4 hours to play the first 9, kids , hackers and women with mullets filled the course . The layout is amazing but with little to no fairway grass it's just not very playable. Did they discount for having to play the back 9 Twice ? Nope, did they discount for cart path only ? Nope.. all that aside the worst experience is the beer nazi lady working the concession. I'm 50 bald and gray beard , she carded me twice and would only sell me 6 beers at a time , sent my wife inside to get me 2 more at the turn and beer nazi wouldn't even sell to her with my ID and my bank card . I wouldn't ever play this course again until she is relieved of her duty, what a witch. read more

Absolutely wonderful, but tough course. Staff was very friendly in the pro shop and the snack shop as well. The burgers are really good with a lot of stuff able to be added at your choosing. Bathrooms were clean. Chipping and putting greens in great shape. They do have nets to hit in instead of a driving range but there's literally no room for a range so you can't hold that against them. Interesting layout with some beautiful views and a lot of challenge. Unfortunately the course is not in good shape. The green we're nice but fairways had lots of bare areas. Several holes were gimmickry with extremely narrow landing areas or blind shots over very tall hills. And who would have the forward tees on a Par 3 with a 190 yard carry all up hill. I have play this course a couple times not. It is a fun course to play with awesome views and nice fairways. The only problem I have had both times I have gone is how rude the staff has been to me. The last time I was there was the icing on the cake. I showed up on time for my tee time but got stuck behind a group of 8 during check in. Because of this they wouldn't let me tee off for over a half hour. Then the starter took me out on the course to find me a couple to tee off with which was confusing because if I was suppose to tee off with a group why didn't they just bring me to them? They finally started me off on the 5th hole with a great group of guys and told be when I come back to the first tee I could play my last 4 holes. But when I got to the first tee they said I would have to wait an hour to tee off and that it was my fault that I was late. They wouldn't even give me any sort or refund. I thought it was ridiculous how I was treated and how much of my day was wasted just trying to tee off. read more

The course is really fun and hilly, which was a change of scenery for someone who normally golfs in Indiana. Carts were path only due to a huge rain storm that week, so we got our steps in. The course is in pretty good shape and held up against the rain too! Nice course layout. Horrible tee box, fairway and green conditions. Starter was rude, guy at registration had no personality at all, no greeting, nothing. Fairways are brown and hard. Lots of bare spots. Many of the greens are diseased. Golf carts are nice. Food and drink was fair. Clubhouse and pro shop are nice. If you are expecting a warm greeting, friendly staff, plush tee boxes, fairways and greens, this isn't the place. Very disappointed. read more

I'm not sure what all these complaints are about. Absolutely stunning 12th hole. A must play! Carts have GPS. Cashier was nice enough, snack bar lady was a gem, starter was very polite and offered friendly conversation and course knowledge. Backstory: Came here with my group of 8 (split into two groups of 4) the day before my wedding. We had the first and second tee time of the day. The starter asked if we were okay to let a single go in front of us, which of course was no problem! He sends our first group of 4 off, then the group of 4 I was in went next. We had 2 elderly ladies starting behind us that decided to skip hole 1 all together. They went around us and cut in between our 2 groups, WHILE MY GROUP WAS STILL FINISHING THE FIRST HOLE. We get up to the second hole and have to wait to tee off because the little old ladies JUST came off the tee box. Eventually my 4 went, but we again had to sit still and wait for them to finish up hole number 2. We stayed right on them and laid on the pressure, because what they did was extremely unreasonable and rude. After cutting us off and putting us at a stand still, the 2 ladies then decided to get out from between our 2 groups, cutting off our first group that went out, CLOGGING THEM UP TOO. Hole number 3 took FOREVER because of the ladies cutting off both of our groups. We could see the group behind us backed up as well. We were in disbelief they clogged the course up and almost called up to the club house to complain. Sadly, we never did. THE KICKER: We finish up hole 4 and are heading to 5 when the starter comes zooming up to us on his golf cart. He angrily told us to speed up and that our group of 8 was holding up the whole course. When we tried to explain what had happened with being jumped, he cut us off and boomed, "I'VE BEEN WATCHING YOU GUYS!! YOU'VE BEEN SITTING STILL, PICK UP THE PACE!!!" We didn't give up and proceeded to explain what the ladies did but he refused to hear it. He said, "I RUN THIS COURSE!!! YOU GUYS HAVE GOT THE WHOLE COURSE PISSED OFF AT YA!! NOW PICK IT UP!! I KNOW WHO THOSE LADIES ARE AND THEY'RE MEMBERS HERE!!!!" I don't care if they're members. No one else would ever get away with what they did on any other golf course. And yeah, the starter was right! We were sitting still BECAUSE BOTH OF OUR GROUPS WERE CUT OFF. He continued to be insanely rude. I've never felt so disrespected as a paying customer, at any place I've ever been to. It absolutely trashed our golf round. Nothing like paying $65 a person for a group of 8, just to have your golf round the day before your wedding absolutely ruined. read more

We golfed here while on vacation. Nice, well kept course. The elevation changes provide for some challenges, but does make it difficult to know where the players are in front of you. Some of the fairways are pretty close together, so beware of balls coming your way. The staff is friendly and the carts are quite nice. Definitely recommend playing the course. read more

The tee boxes were rough and uneven, with little grass on them. The greens were very spotty and a lot of patch spots. I have played at many golf courses around the country. This course offers no driving range. No men's or ladies locker rooms with showers unless you're a member. And no ice/water machines to grab waters for the course. Have to spend $6 on two bottles of water?? We played in June 2016 at 11:00am. There were lawn mowers and machines that rake the bunkers on every hole? Completely distracting!! The greens sucked! Almost got hit by another ball. We left after 9 holes. We won't be back!! Save your $$ and play somewhere else!! read more

While on our trip to the Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg area, we picked Gatlinburg Golf Course as one of the courses we decided to play during our trip. The pro shop is very well stocked and they even have rental clubs available. Staff was very nice. We got the last tee time of the day at around 4. Played from the tips, this course is very short at only 6200 yards. The front nine is good at best, nothing really memorable here. The back nine is where it really gets good. While the greens are slow and not in the greatest shape, the layout of the course really saves it. Lots of elevated tee shots, many of which drop a lot from tee to green. The best hole here by far is number 12. This par three drops over 200 feet from tee to green and is very fun to play. Overall, this course has a very nice layout and lots of great holes. Would have been 5 stars if not for beat up greens. Highly recommended, would play again. read more
