Busy locals bar where you feel welcome with very friendly and attentive service. Food prices very reasonable and a lot of wings and onion rings being served. Wings came out in a soup base of hot sauce- perfect way to serve them! My basket of curly fries was heaping. The celery that comes with the order must have been two celery stalks! The blue cheese offering is more like a garlic sauce. Wings were big and meaty. Sauce was the X-Hot and really good! My only criticism is when you precook fries and wings and just finish them off for a few minutes when ordered they can dry out. Unfortunately I experienced some of this here. Not as bad as what I experienced at knuck but another experience like today's would stop me from ordering food here Sauce and service were exceptional and worthy of the four stars!

Best eu Cheese in the city by far, in the state-probably, in the country- likely, in the galaxy? Possibly. Classic style American pub/eatery, this particular location boasts the best bar and beer selection. The wings are always huge, and the bleu cheese, chili, and a lot of the sauces are made in house. Can't go wrong with BBQ hot, Parmesan garlic medium, or teriyaki extra hot. Mikes mix is surprisingly perfect, get it extra hot with extra bleu cheese. In my opinion their bone in wings are the best deep fried chicken wings in the city. Only problem, it'll ruin everywhere else's bleu cheese dressing. Nothing compares. No joke, I didn't even like bleu cheese dressing until I had theirs. Now I love it, but again theirs is by far the best.

Hands down! Wild Mikes has the BEST wings in the city. From mild to wild, they have a flavor to pair with whatever heat level you can handle. What makes their wings so special is the crispy exterior even after the wings are sauced. I believe their secret is that they double-fry the wings because they are not breaded. One thing to note is that the wings are sold at market price so you could be in for a bit of sticker shock when you get the bill. On this occasion, 8 wings was about $11.50 so not too unreasonable for what you get. Luckily, there are three regional locations for this establishment and the one on Bridgetown road is the only one that still serves their infamous, curly fries. It's worth the extra drive just for this side. Also, their blue cheese is homemade and the best I've had. This location also has a large, bright and clean bar area to enjoy the game on one of their many TVs and the restaurant will usually be filled with families on a regular evening or weekend but this location has plenty of room for even larger groups. If you enjoy hot wings and cold beer, this is your spot!

Of course, you come to Wild Mike's for the wings, burgers, and excellent service but don't overlook the soups and chili. The roasted red pepper gouda soup is some of the best around.

Wild Mike's recently added a new bar on the right side of the building with 20 taps and rotating craft beers. Lots of good food and beer!

Last time at Wild Mike's the wings were horrible. Very over cooked. Or they sat under a heat lamp too long.

What a darling place! We were looking for a place to eat that was heading towards Indianapolis and…read morefound this restaurant. Hubs is from Germany so we thought we would give it a try. The restaurant sits on the Miami river which was very picturesque. They had a bier garden complete with a stage for live performances. We were waited on quickly and they carried Warsteiner, which we enjoyed! We had a friendly and efficient server. The first item we ordered was the Bavarian pretzel with bier cheese. The pretzel was a decent size and tasty. The bier cheese, however, missed the mark for me. It didn't even resemble any beer cheese I ever had. And unfortunately, I ordered my broccoli with that cheese! My husband ordered the Kaiser burger--which sounded substantial and delicious. And I ordered the Mettwurst and sauerkraut. The portion sizes were great! But let me just say--they are no Hofbräuhaus! Not at all! Not even close. The only thing I managed to eat was the Mettwurst and only a few bites and it wasn't that great. And then the potato pancakes? They were cold and tasted like they were fried in old oil. We were starving and disappointed. But coupled with fatigue we were just happy to have eaten and gotten on our way home. The restaurant was pretty packed by the time we left. And people seemed to be enjoying their food. So we may try it one more time--especially because the venue was very German inspired. Our bill came to about 100 with tip. Wished I could have given a better review--sorry!

We ate at the bar and were served by Jocelyn who was most amiable and helpful. She's been there 14 years and I learned the establishment is 2nd generation family owned, over 40 years in business. There are several small cozy dining rooms for larger groups, a main dining room, plus outdoor seating. The pork schnitzel was delectable, pounded thin, tender, right amount of breading, and the amazing schwine sauce on top which is apple cider vinegar based, perfect sweet/sour mix. Also on top comes bits of thick chewy bacon, and nice big slices of well cooked onion. It's a master dish. After I chose it, my husband ordered the same thing and we both loved the meal. The potato pancake is real German style, very dense but nicely seasoned. Add sour cream. They had 10 beers on tap and numerous bottled options. Full bar. Not a lot of wine choices but that is not a concern of mine. The atmosphere just screams BEER to me. Or, more accurately, BIER. I had a pint of Shiner Shandy which was cold and citrusy and perfect. We would gladly return, hopefully on a sunny day and take that beer outside!

With the exception of sitting at the bad, I've had one thing in common with every experience: bland customer service. It feels like every time I've sat at a table and had a server, they aren't all that friendly and always seemed rushed. Outside of that, the food is always consistent and great value. I wasn't as pleased with the wings, but everything else I've had I would order again. The goetta quesadilla is on point! These pulled pork nachos were also super great! If you enjoy a good sports bar, this is your spot. They stay busy, so they must be doing something right.

The biggest issue was getting the attention of a server. Even after we placed our order she was hard to find. Especially when we wanted the check. The food was decent, not spectacular, but above average for a sports bar. We were on the west side to see a very limited release movie down the street. Look for my review of Cinemark West if you want the skinny on that experience. I mention this as I wouldn't make a special trip. One humorous note... Their website suggests a great skyline view. Well, the view is of the Skyline Chili at the bottom of the parking lot. Lol
