Deep fried chili cheese coney vegan
    Maggie D.

My favorite thing about this restaurant is their monthly special, which is always able to be made both vegan or vegetarian. Every month I go try the vegan special with my friends and it has honestly become one of our little traditions. I do wish it was gluten free more often, but when it is not I get the gluten free frickles, which are fried pickle chips you can get with regular or vegan ranch. This place is wonderful for accommodations. They clearly label vegan and gluten free options all throughout the menu, which makes ordering so much easier when you are the one in the friend group checking ingredients all the time like I do. They also have a full bar with a long list of fun drinks. Seating is pretty good. I have only struggled to find seating once, and it was on a really nice day when we wanted to sit outside. They have large tables in the back for big groups and an upstairs area too. In addition to going for the specials, I have come here just to hang out for a bar night. Upstairs they have a pool table and it is a great place to catch up with friends because it is not too chaotic and you can actually hear each other talk. The decor is very aesthetic and cute with lots of little knickknacks and trinkets around the space. Overall I love this place and it is one of my favorite spots to bring friends when we want something vegan friendly and cozy. The only problem I have ever had getting the vegan special was one time they were out of it. It was pretty late in the month so that was probably why, but it was still disappointing to get all the way there and not be able to order it. Overall, I'll always continue to make this place a monthly tradition!

Ummm... so embarrassed to say I've been sleeping on this spot that is 10 minutes from home. Yes, I know about it, yes, I drive by it A LOT. No more! Headed here with my bestie on a busy Friday night. It's a great spot for burgers and friend food and a great cocktail offering- most deliciously, the pickle martini (gin for me) that is perfectly balanced. We couldn't decide so we shared fried pickles, potato salad, wings, fries, and a delicious burger, no bun. Everything was tasty and portions were generous. Bonus for us: a well marked menu with GF items. As I said, it was busy but they have a system and get people seated as quickly as possible. Our server was amazing with recommendations and service. The spot is fun and funky with multiple rooms. We sat in the bar area which does indeed feel like a boat/marina. Looking forward to returning.

We went for Sunday brunch. An awesome ambiance - fun, quirky, down to earth. We sat outside and there was plenty of shade with umbrellas on every table in the courtyard. It was normal noise volume. I had a coffee which came in a unique mug. The Bloody Mary's looked excellent. The food is great and greasy. The egg sandwich (no meat) was nicely toasted English muffin that gave some crunch and the potatoes were fried. It's a meal meant for day drinking.

Stopped here as it's a DDD which means Guy Fieri ate here. It's by Spring Grove Cemetery Arboretum which allowed us to visit there as well. The Yacht Club has a lovely outdoor eating area as well as an eclectic bar area inside. Let's talk about the smash burgers. We try a lot of new places and this has to be one of the best burgers I've ever had and I don't say that lightly. Fries are average. The Mac and cheese is superbly delicious. Service could have been slightly better as it was hard to get the attention of our waitress when we needed. But overall, I will be eating here again so I can try other items.

    Vegetarian chilichanga with fried broccoli
    McKinley H.

I had such a fun night here! My friends and I came on a Tuesday for their trivia night, and also to try the seasonal "Chilichanga." Parking is a bit stressful for those unfamiliar with the area, like me, as it is only street parking on very narrow streets next to a busy road. I guess don't bring your biggest vehicle if possible. We sat at a large bench table in the back, next to a wall full of the most interesting and hilarious knock-knacks. The place has a very eclectic and young vibe. I loved it. Everyone at the table got the chilichanga, as that was why we came and it was so hyped up to me. I got the vegetarian version, and that didn't disappoint. It came out hot, gooey, and so flavorful. They really got that chili flavor down. I thought I was only eat half, as it looks like so much, but I couldn't stop myself from finishing it. I also got the fried broccoli as my side and it was totally worth the upcharge. So crunchy and addicting. I will be trying to recreate that at home. Prices are standard compared to similar places in Cincinnati. I'd love to come back to try more food and more fun beverages from their large and diverse cocktail menu. Everyone got a different drink during our evening all raved about it. Highly recommend for a great dinner and fun evening!

Food is amazing. Had the wings and got halfway through them before i could finally put them down to take a picture. Mac and cheese hits harder than my drunk step-dad. Great service and even better tunes.

Hanky Pankhurst Smishy Smashy Phatty Patty Melt
    Kristina P.

If you like patty melts then RUN to Northside Yacht Club this month to get the Hanky Panky Smishy Smashy Phatty Patty Melt with fries. It was SO good and filling. The marbled rye bread was a nice twist to add to a patty melt. We sat outside and even though it's a little cramped out there it's still a unique space and the service was great.

    Keri W.

Omg! This place is delicious! The drinks are heavenly and the food and atmosphere are amazing. Literally the best poutine I've ever had! I'm so full and happy right now! The service is amazing as well. They come around constantly checking on you and it's wonderful!

Love the food here, they have a great vegetarian wrap! The decor is campy and fun, and they have a beautiful fish tank. Staff are casual and easygoing.

    Steak sandwich
    Aleeza A.

So I saw I post for their monthly special on social media and haddd to come try them out. The monthly special was a steak sandwich that had steak strips and cheese and sauces all over. When I went and ordered they brought out a Philly steak sandwich and so I double checked to make sure this was the special and they said yes which is when I was really confused. The fries weren't bad but I was pretty disappointed that what was advertised is not what I received especially when I am paying $18 for it. In a different note though, we were seated outside which I loved. The ambiance and atmosphere of a nice summer evening combined with their seating and friends was definitely a moment well appreciated.

    Cindy C.

Service was great, the atmosphere was unique. The food was outstanding. The wings were fall off the bone. They were not overcooked great flavor. Great ranch dressing great blue cheese they're special this month was a meatloaf sandwich. That was good very big and thick sandwich. We had the Loaded fries they were good and their fried pickles are excellent. We will be back.

    Killer tofu with potatoes
    Leah W.

Went there after a local 5k. Had the killer tofu and the Arnold Palmer. The killer tofu lived up to its name. Well seasoned and delicious. This is coming from someone who is not vegetarian. The smashed potatoes that came with it were cooked to perfection. Crispy on the outside and soft and fluffy on the inside. The Arnold Palmer was good but I felt a little overpriced($8). We sat outside and the atmosphere and service was amazing.

    Skyline ice cream
    Shirley X.

This was our second time at NSYC and it has such a fun, cool vibe. The outside seating was nice but the food took longer than expected, even in a busy Sunday brunch. The breakfast burritos were tasty and big but I was pleasantly surprised on the Skyline ice cream! They have a float drink with soda but we wanted to try the ice cream on its own. Only place to try the ice cream right now (sorry the only photo came from my instagram post)!

I see it's not good for kids, is this the case for their brunch also or just in general?

Their were kids at brunch. They have low tables in back away from the bar. If they are adventure seeking diners it would be fine. Only eat chicken fingers? Leave the kids with the grands. Lol

When my friend and I walked in, we were greeted by such a sweet staff who immediately welcomed us in, shared their thoughts on the menu (since we were first-timers), and suggested we leave a review (they were so lovely, so how could we not!) The entire restaurant feels like the diner Sam worked at in Cinderella Story from the early 2000s - very vintage, very retro, very 50s! It's what I imagine restaurants looking like when my grandparents went on dates when they were my age. I had gotten the tofu nugs via DoorDash, which were better IRL and the milkshake was scrumptious too! My friend got the Milkman Burger, fries, and a fruity pebbles shake. It was all great but let me tell ya...we had this meal almost two weeks ago and I'm STILL dreaming of those French fries. I have had so many iterations of fried potato before...shoestring, steak, wedges, sweet potato, those made from yuca, curly, dipped in ice cream, etc. and these are the best fries I've had in my life. If I could live off the fries, I would. They were that good. I already have plans to share this place with other friends of mine as it has officially worked its way into the rotation for me!

They were serving parties of different sizes indoors and out on a patio area. I had an impossible burger and fries which were both really good. They had good iced tea, too. The highlight of the whole experience for me, though, was my server Lanay. She was delightful. She was engaging, welcoming, and personable throughout. She was patient and easygoing, but she also had a lot of feedback and advice on the menu options. She checked on me regularly throughout my leisurely meal without ever making me feel rushed. I thoroughly enjoyed our interactions throughout the evening. She was a really excellent server and I hope the restaurant knows it. When I'm in that area again, this will make my list of options.

I don't get to Cincy very often, but I was in town for work and this happened to be the closest bar/restaurant near us downtown that looked decent. Safe to say I got very lucky. The first time I went, I ordered the chili as a starter and a chicken tender platter. And when I tell you I was so happy with both -- I mean it. I love a good chili. I grew up eating it with my grandma, and this one tasted like something she would have made. The cheese and sour cream were perfect. I'm not a huge onion guy, but even those worked well with it. Now here's the catch... it was so good that I literally went back and ordered the exact same thing again. And somehow it was even better the second time. They really outdid themselves on both dishes. One thing I noticed the second time around: I asked for three sauces right away, and they brought them out on a plate with a built-in sauce area. It was actually really convenient -- perfect if you're sharing with people. Now let's talk about the tenders. I'll start by saying I know fried chicken pretty well. Pound for pound, these might honestly be the best chicken tenders in America. The easiest comparison I can give is this: imagine if Cane's and Zaxby's had a kid and named him perfection. That's what these are. Sometimes Cane's can be a little light on seasoning, and sometimes Zaxby's goes a little heavy. These are perfectly in the middle with a great crunch and just the right amount of seasoning. Another thing I really liked about this place is the versatility of it. It feels like the kind of spot where you could do anything -- happy hour with friends, a birthday dinner, a corporate dinner, or even a family night out. I love that kind of diversity in a restaurant. Just 10/10 ambiance. And the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming, which always makes a difference. Honestly, writing this review is making me want to book a flight back to Cincinnati just to eat there again. Wow.

The seating is family style with long tables. You can order via QR codes (meh) or walk up to the side of the bar for food and drink. The manager came around and introduced himself to everyone and was all over the place. Helping in the kitchen, bar, cleaning up etc.. He's definitely an asset because he didn't disappear as the rush started coming in. The inside is nicely decorated and I was digging their Voodoo/skull theme. We settled in and watched the 4pm NFL game on one of the large TV's while chatting with some disappointed Bengals fans and locals. Beer wise they had a nice selection of classic Voodoo brews (we used to get them a lot in the Philly area several years ago), a balance of styles and some newer brews I'd never heard of. If you enjoy the dark side of beer the Where Our Secrets Go Imperial Stout was delicious and thankfully more along the lines of the traditional style Impy Stout. I had an IPA that I can't remember the name of, but it had a nice Belgian yeast/hop twist to it. My son enjoyed their root beer. Food wise the Jumbo Chicken Wings, roasted in house hit the spot, I highly recommend them. I added their Good Vibes BBQ "Sawce", but you can get them dry rubbed or chose from several other "Sawces". The wings were big with fresh meat and the sauce was great. The Pub pretzel we ordered was huge and the good vibes beer cheese complimented it well. The Mr. Pickles Fried Pickles were also a great choice for an app. They were a big portion. My friend had the Chili Mac and my son ordered the Lil Mashburgers - 2 little smashburgers oozing with cheddar & chippies off the kids menu. We ate, had a couple of beers and enjoyed our dinner at Voodoo before we explored more of downtown Cincy. I'll be honest I wanted to avoid BrewDog and Voodoo and experience home grown Cincinnati breweries, but we were really happy we stopped at Voodoo.
