Wild Rose Tavern menu

While we were in Death Valley, staying at Furnace Creek, we had a couple of tasty meals at the Wild Rose Tavern. ... and some tasty beers too. Walkable to our hotel room, the restaurant was super convenient and the food was good. Service was friendly, the food was tasty, and if we find ourselves back in Death Valley National Park, we'll definitely eat at the Wild Rose Tavern again. Ambiance-wise, we were in Death Valley... it's Beautiful!

It wasn't our first choice to dine here, but we had little to no options for something quick and affordable. The menu was small with only 9 options in total. I wouldn't have minded that except that the portions are so small for the price point and quality. My family ordered the pizza, which turned out to be a personal-sized flatbread cut into four pieces. I opted for the rosemary chicken sandwich with country-style potato salad and the chicken was dry. The service was also very slow and it took over 30 minutes for the food to arrive. It's a table service restaurant but you seat yourself when walking in and wait for the server to arrive at your table. There's some entertainment in the center of the seating area and most of the tables were taken, with a lot of the bar seating available.

Club sandwich & macaroni salad (great sandwich, okay macaroni)

After stopping at the Furnace Creek Visitor Center, we walked over to the Tavern. At 2pm they said they had a limited menu but we found some good choices. This is located in the Oasis Inn by the golf course. Service was attentive & the food was excellent. We shared the club sandwich & shrimp salad. Being a tavern in Death Valley, it has a rustic saloon vibe. Sports on multiple tvs, game tables & darts, a great place to take a break. We are staying at the Furnace Creek Campground so having a great meal before hitting Zabriskie Point was nice.

Wild Rose Tavern is nestled in an oasis resort within Death Valley National Park. It is near the gold course. Finding it wasn't the easiest as it is in the very back of the complex. The staff were friendly and attentive. I opted for the burger which came on a pretzel bread and a side of chips. The burger was cooked just right and was flavorful with the sauce and green chiles (not spicy). Fixings are provided on the side I also ordered a "furnace creek mule" (Moscow mule) which was tasty and made to perfection. This visit was a little splurge as I was camping at the campground next door and within walking distance. I am glad I did!

Quick service, yummy food, and gorgeous backdrop for a quick lunch in the park. We split the barbecue chicken flatbread and turkey sandwich. Furnace Creek is a must stop!

There are two entries for the wild Rose tavern for some reason so I'll probably post this review twice. First of all the hours are wrong on yelp. It was already well closed when we popped in and turned out they were still serving food well after 7 PM. They had a limited menu image attached. But all the other restaurants are either closed or had hour plus waits. Simple food done well. Being able to walk in and still serving food is a major bonus.

Best views on the property. New menu as of 11/20. Portions are generous, especially the salads. Flatbread pizzas feed 2. Food was really good. Good service!

This tavern is on the property of The Ranch at Death Valley. We stopped in during our pool day for a quick lunch & break from the heat. We started with a bowl of chilli & for entrees we had the chicken caesar wrap & a turkey club no bacon. The chili was a big serving full of flavor & the sandwiches were exactly what we were hoping for. Our server was friendly & we had a nice conversation about the other National parks that she has worked at previously.

Service was a little slow, but the server was really nice. Food was ok, the chips and salsa are store bought, so I'd pass on those next time

Great paninis! The pepperoni pizza bread was way too burnt. Other than that great ambience and food comes out quickly.

We came here on an unusual rainy afternoon in January. We hadn't made a reservation (the rain…read morealtered our plans), so we got there when they opened to make sure we got a seat, and we were seated promptly. The service was excellent - our server was very friendly and personable, chatting with us and making recommendations when asked. Everything arrived promptly and as requested. (For instance, I ordered a cocktail with our appetizer and also asked for a glass of wine to be brought with the steak, and the timing was perfect - not always the case when you ask for something to come 20 minutes later.) The food is basic "steakhouse" food - no bells and whistles, and nothing to make it unique, but the steak was delicious, and the sides were perfectly fine. It certainly hit the spot after a day of hiking and exploring. It's expensive, as one would expect in a remote location like this. In normal circumstances, the value wouldn't be there to make it worth visiting... but in the middle of Death Valley, I'll take it! I would go back if I was staying the night again for sure.

I had the roasted chicken, which was quite tasty, particularly the sauce it came in. However I was pretty disappointed in the portion size, particularly given the prices are pretty steep. The size of "veggies and potatoes" was 3 small cuts of a potato and 2 similarly sized cuts of a carrot. The chicken portion was essentially just a leg. The entire area has a bit of a theme park feel to it with pricing, but this felt pretty egregious for $29. Our entire group had a similar takeaway, though some others didn't find theirs as tasty as mine was. I'd pretty strongly recommend against coming here, the sports bar nearby is a far better bang for your buck with probably slightly better quality of food

Nice place to grab a quick snack. We were in town during a recent trip to Death Valley National…read morePark and this place came highly recommended to us. It did not disappoint! There are multiple small eateries inside with different hours. The main area has a bunch of snacks, including many sugar-free options. They also have toys and some novelties. Not the cheapest, but pretty reasonably priced overall. We tried the coconut dark chocolate haystacks and laffy taffy. The haystacks were really good. So much dark chocolate and nuttiness. The laffy taffy was alright. Prone to melting even at room temperature, but the kids enjoyed most of the flavors. There's also a gas station - very convenient!

Snack Heaven [Beatty NV]…read more During road trips we like to stop by this store for snacks before heading to and out of Las Vegas. More than a convenience store it is a gift shop offering hot food, desserts and bulk candies of all types to satisfy anyone's sweet tooth... it is a specialty shop where you can order fresh sandwiches and other made-to-go items and get your hands on chocolate, beef jerky, nuts, snacks like popcorn, dried fruits, wasabi peas, and more salty treats, and of course, ice cream and just about any type of candy you can dream up. We shared a beef burrito... it was good. The banana split was yummy! They also sell stuffed donkey toys and other souvenir merchandise but you will also see real donkeys there sometimes blocking a gas pump LoL! This is definitely a one-stop shop for gas, candy, ice cream... and donkeys, if you're lucky to find them there while passing through Beatty in Nevada. The cold treats were perfect for triple-digit weather. Review #3962

We'd heard from the locals, The Hubb is some of the best food in town and is a popular watering hole for the younger (under 70) crowd. The lady who served us for lunch was rude and seemed bothered we came in. Eventually she brought us our drinks and gave us a heavy sigh as she explained she didn't know why the restaurant was even open for lunch because she had too much to do to prepare for the evening shift. A second older woman brought our meal out (Taco Tuesday special) and tossed it onto our table without saying a word. The ground beef Caucasian tacos were over seasoned but generally edible. The service was absolute trash. My tip was reflective of that. If you have to visit Pahrump, bring your own food and cook at home, in your Air BNB.
