    Western Burger (comes with chips)

This is Lee Canyon's restaurant, located on the first floor outside of the main lodge. This place seems to be less busy than the upstairs restaurant, so maybe that means you can get your food faster and hit the slopes again. However, don't expect fast service. We went on a Thursday when it was pretty empty, and it still took 15-20 minutes for our 2 orders to come out. On a busy day, I would expect the wait to be pretty crazy. Prices are on the higher side, but with the $10 corduroy cash at Lee Canyon offers. If you purchase your ticket early, it makes everything pretty average priced. If you go with a group, they allow you to combine your corduroy cash in one purchase, which is nice as well. Chicken Tenders- 6/10 ($16) - they give ranch dressing and barbecue sauce, which pairs well with the fries and chicken tenders - chicken tenders are pretty juicy, but taste kind of like the frozen ones you would get at Costco and then make it in a deep fryer - fries are pretty crispy, pretty good Western Burger- 4/10 ($19) - instead of giving you a side of fries, they give you a side of chips. I would have preferred fries. - Burger itself includes a couple slices of bacon, and overall taste kind of like a homemade burger. A little bit on the pricier side.

Overpriced, not a great food. For a portion of fries you will pay 10 dollars, burger is 15 dollars and fries is nothing like fries it is more like fried nothing. But really. Haven't even feel potato. Just my mouth hurts from Overfried. The guy at the counter was very nice. Ketchup was empty on every table. But the terrace outside has a lot of space and beautiful view to the mountains.

It took over 45 minutes to get an order of hog fries that ended up having cold pork on them. The restaurant was not busy at all, but everyone's food was coming on very slowly. Thankfully, they gave us a refund. 2 stars because the burger was at least warm and for the refund.

    Hair in food

We ordered the chili cheese tater tot's and while the taste was ok. We did find 2 pieces of hair in the food... when asking for a refund I was told there was nothing they could do but offer the same dish. In all not great customer service and not good food. Wouldn't recommend.

Good to have a spot for a break in between snowboarding. We ordered burger with fries and pulled pork sandwich. Both of the food are delicious. Didn't have to wait that long for the food. The only thing is, you will see crew going around but no one is cleaning the table, fixing the chair, nor refilling the condiments. We had to clean our own table and grab a bottle of Ketchup from another table. Even though they saw you doing these things, they didn't acknowledge nor initiate doing the same thing to the rest of the table.

So, I rolled up to Bighorn Grill in Lee Canyon with high hopes and an empty stomach, dreaming of a five-star Western Burger experience. But instead, it felt like a wild west standoff--except instead of gunfire, it was a showdown with the kitchen timer. The wait time was so long I could've taken a hike up the mountain and back (and I was only with a small group!). When my burger finally arrived, I took a whiff and wondered if I'd accidentally ordered the "Mystery Meat Special." Seriously, it smelled like it had been grazing out in the desert a bit too long. The folks there were nice enough, but the food was a real missed opportunity. I had such high hopes because, hey, Lee Canyon is stunning! But next time, I'll just pack my own grub and enjoy the view. Giddy up, I guess?

Alas the Big Horn has tanked completely. While Lee Canyon is awesome, the Big Horn Grill is awful. To start the Burgers taste like they are steamed, or boiled. The meat patty is thankfully microscopic. Yes, the meat is so bland, tasteless and strangely more awful than that I'm happy there is not much of it. The bread is not stale, but close to stale and not close to fresh. The cheese is not good and as far as the optional toppings on the other burgers I have tried, equally bad. In prior years the Big Horn Burgers were worth seeking out and waiting in line for if necessary. This year something bad happened. The Chili is decent, the proportion size is small and the corn bread is bla. The hot sauce, limited to Tapatio packets was stale one week and ok the next. The baked potato is so so. The French Fries are greasy. The staff on the book ends are great. By that I mean the cashiers and table cleaners. The servers are miserable and not helpful. The outside patio is nice in good weather. Bring your own food.

Went on a busy day. Waiting time was loooonnnggg... BUT, I was very surprised by the quality and taste of the western burger. One of the best burger I ever had. The scenic was amazing as well It worth the wait.

We ordered the giant pretzel which came with beer cheese sauce, a gyro which came with hot crispy fries, a mango Heff (beer) and a bottle soda. We were able to take our food to the upper outside deck which had great views. Everything was delicious and portions were large. The pretzel was nice and crispy on the outside with a soft interior. The gyro meat was cut thin with a little crispness on the edges with lettuce, tomato, onion, and tzatziki sauce! We couldn't eat it all and had leftovers for the next day! The staff was nice and efficient. It was a little pricey at $51!

I say my food was actually pretty good but I have to take 2 stars for really slow service (took almost 40 min for the food to come out) and none of the tables were cleaned. I understand they're short staffed but omg 2x I've gone there, no one takes the time to clean the tables so you're stuck sitting on unclean tables.

Ski lift area - Big Horn in the kedt
    Rick K.

First time up to Mount Charleston - checking out the ski lifts - Big Horn Grill is the restaurant that is currently open - I'm not sure there's another place - but is COVID-19- upper building on the property was t open - could be a bar/restraint The food is pup type - not much versatility Sitting outside you can see the ski left & people watch. We ordered a protein burger and chicken wings - it was average (not bad), kind of expensive but that's expected in tourist zone. The Service was pretty good but it's wasn't very busy. I could see it being super slow if it was packed using the ski season. All & All if was cool to hang for an autumn road trip. If your going to check out the lift's or going to ski it's not too bad if your hungry - it'll do in a pinch

This occurred well over a year ago (09.27.24 to be exact) so hopefully he has moved on. Bartender described himself as a "professor" of all things beer and blabbed on and on about this and that. We were drinking and enjoying a framboise lambic that I regularly have at home. He said well if you like that you have to give this a try. So, we did. He didn't mention the cost and we didn't ask. The lambic we were were drinking cost $14 per bottle/glass. We ordered ONE bottle of his recommended beer "Framboise 2022" (which was not as good as the $14 one we were drinking, btw), at a cost of $35. We were heading to a show so when the bill came we were in a hurry so paid it without reviewing it. Our bad, but much more so the bartender's as he ensured 1) a larger bill for the owner, and 2) a bigger tip for himself. I have meant to stop by to discuss with the owners but the opportunity has not presented itself. P.S., I'm from NYC and never, ever did crap like that happen at any bar I ever visited -- and there were many! For the owners ... Perfectly crispy and ridiculously flavorful, the kind you keep eating even after you are full because quitting feels like failure. The garlic knots were absolutely to die for.
