    Western burger +onion rings

There are two cafés attached to the ski lodge section. One is more of a café with cofffee, drinks, and light snacks and this one is the restaurant option. You have your basic burgers, chicken, hotdog, and easy food to scarf down after your day of skiing. There's only one person working the line, so it pretty long during lunchtime with this being the only real lunch spot as an option. I went with the western burger with onion rings. The wait was a little long for it and Service was just all right. Price range is a little high for a burger, considering the quality and size. It seems like when you buy the day pass you get a $10 credit per person which can't really buy you much.

This is Lee Canyon's restaurant, located on the first floor outside of the main lodge. This place seems to be less busy than the upstairs restaurant, so maybe that means you can get your food faster and hit the slopes again. However, don't expect fast service. We went on a Thursday when it was pretty empty, and it still took 15-20 minutes for our 2 orders to come out. On a busy day, I would expect the wait to be pretty crazy. Prices are on the higher side, but with the $10 corduroy cash at Lee Canyon offers. If you purchase your ticket early, it makes everything pretty average priced. If you go with a group, they allow you to combine your corduroy cash in one purchase, which is nice as well. Chicken Tenders- 6/10 ($16) - they give ranch dressing and barbecue sauce, which pairs well with the fries and chicken tenders - chicken tenders are pretty juicy, but taste kind of like the frozen ones you would get at Costco and then make it in a deep fryer - fries are pretty crispy, pretty good Western Burger- 4/10 ($19) - instead of giving you a side of fries, they give you a side of chips. I would have preferred fries. - Burger itself includes a couple slices of bacon, and overall taste kind of like a homemade burger. A little bit on the pricier side.

Overpriced, not a great food. For a portion of fries you will pay 10 dollars, burger is 15 dollars and fries is nothing like fries it is more like fried nothing. But really. Haven't even feel potato. Just my mouth hurts from Overfried. The guy at the counter was very nice. Ketchup was empty on every table. But the terrace outside has a lot of space and beautiful view to the mountains.

It took over 45 minutes to get an order of hog fries that ended up having cold pork on them. The restaurant was not busy at all, but everyone's food was coming on very slowly. Thankfully, they gave us a refund. 2 stars because the burger was at least warm and for the refund.

    Hair in food

We ordered the chili cheese tater tot's and while the taste was ok. We did find 2 pieces of hair in the food... when asking for a refund I was told there was nothing they could do but offer the same dish. In all not great customer service and not good food. Wouldn't recommend.

Good to have a spot for a break in between snowboarding. We ordered burger with fries and pulled pork sandwich. Both of the food are delicious. Didn't have to wait that long for the food. The only thing is, you will see crew going around but no one is cleaning the table, fixing the chair, nor refilling the condiments. We had to clean our own table and grab a bottle of Ketchup from another table. Even though they saw you doing these things, they didn't acknowledge nor initiate doing the same thing to the rest of the table.

So, I rolled up to Bighorn Grill in Lee Canyon with high hopes and an empty stomach, dreaming of a five-star Western Burger experience. But instead, it felt like a wild west standoff--except instead of gunfire, it was a showdown with the kitchen timer. The wait time was so long I could've taken a hike up the mountain and back (and I was only with a small group!). When my burger finally arrived, I took a whiff and wondered if I'd accidentally ordered the "Mystery Meat Special." Seriously, it smelled like it had been grazing out in the desert a bit too long. The folks there were nice enough, but the food was a real missed opportunity. I had such high hopes because, hey, Lee Canyon is stunning! But next time, I'll just pack my own grub and enjoy the view. Giddy up, I guess?

Alas the Big Horn has tanked completely. While Lee Canyon is awesome, the Big Horn Grill is awful. To start the Burgers taste like they are steamed, or boiled. The meat patty is thankfully microscopic. Yes, the meat is so bland, tasteless and strangely more awful than that I'm happy there is not much of it. The bread is not stale, but close to stale and not close to fresh. The cheese is not good and as far as the optional toppings on the other burgers I have tried, equally bad. In prior years the Big Horn Burgers were worth seeking out and waiting in line for if necessary. This year something bad happened. The Chili is decent, the proportion size is small and the corn bread is bla. The hot sauce, limited to Tapatio packets was stale one week and ok the next. The baked potato is so so. The French Fries are greasy. The staff on the book ends are great. By that I mean the cashiers and table cleaners. The servers are miserable and not helpful. The outside patio is nice in good weather. Bring your own food.

Went on a busy day. Waiting time was loooonnnggg... BUT, I was very surprised by the quality and taste of the western burger. One of the best burger I ever had. The scenic was amazing as well It worth the wait.

Lol The place is very retro and I loved the beer cans on the wall. They have a photo booth located in the back right corner for $5 for 2 strips. Honestly, this place was cool but only downside was I felt like it had dead air. I was sweating in there, but the vibe did overpower my only complaint. Service was good. We sat at the bar and were helped right away. I looked through their menu and settled on a fruit beer while my friend had a stout. Trust, there's something for everyone whether you love or like beer. This is a proper local craft brewery and taproom restaurant, with family roots going back four generations in the city, and they lean into that local identity with a solid house beer lineup alongside the usual bar standards. Wasn't too busy, which was great, meant we actually had good seats for the game. Ok options for slot machines too, this being Vegas and all. I had the fish and chips and it was good, though every place really skimps out on the sauces lately, unless that's just me being picky about my dipping ratios. Nice selection of local drinks overall. They had me try one of their more out-there brews, some kind of skunk-named one, and it genuinely smelled like Cheech and Chong's basement. Points for the experience, even if I stuck to my regular pour after that.

We added Canyon Restaurant to our trip itinerary only after resolving our misunderstanding: it had NOT burned down in 2021 (that was Mt. Charleston Lodge, a couple miles further up Kyle Canyon). Canyon Restaurant is integral to "The Resort on Mount Charleston" which is what the sign reads. Oddly, both Apple Maps and Google Maps identify it as "The Retreat on Mount Charleston." We were not hotel guests, so this review is only about our dining experience. The dining room was spacious and light, and very pleasing, with large windows capturing some views (and Kyle Canyon traffic). I had a very good Old Fashioned from the bar. Our menus did not match those you'll see on their website, nor those in the Yelp reviews. However, there were plenty of good choices. I had the wedge salad and it was excellent; generous and fresh ingredients. My wife had the baked half chicken. Also excellently prepared. The service was very good and our waitress could not have been more helpful and friendly. While my wife was briefly absent from the table I asked our waitress if they did "birthdays." She said not really, but she could bring a scoop of ice cream to our table after the meal. I said "well, I really wanted a song" (i.e. like they do at the chain restaurants, :-)). She demurred, but didn't totally rule it out. (Yes, it was my wife's birthday.) At the end of the meal, the waitress indeed showed up with an indulgent bowl of really delicious ice cream + two spoons!
