I always have the best experiences at this store, but today took the cake. The young man working there was so kind to me when I really needed it. And I was trying so hard not to cry that I forgot to get his name. But this guy deserves a raise. My car wouldn't start because something's wrong with my battery. I should have read their reviews before I bought there. One of them said the same thing I went through. Even word for word response of what they said. Other mentioned defective products. When I bought my vape mod and tank, they were friendly and helpful. After one day my tank started to leak. I called the shop and told them that I just bought my tank and vape mod there the day before and the tank is leaking. The person said I should bring it in so they can take a look at it. They never told me that there was a 48 hour return policy, and when I called the person never said anything about the 48 hour return policy. (Was this to avoid the return?) I went two days later as I don't live near there. When I did go. I was passed on to two other workers, one says he will call the manager to see what he could do. The person then gives me the phone to talk to the manager who said the same thing. Sorry we won't replace it, but we will give you a discount on another one. I explained that if they had told me that there was a 48 hour return policy, I would have gone that day. The manager said, even if you did, we wouldn't have taken the return. So they replaced the coil saying that was the problem. The problem is that the tank would leak randomly. Buyer beware read more

I have nothing bad to say about this place and I think the amount some of the negative comments on here are a little uncalled for. They have a great selection even for someone as picky as me. Its not the cheapest place ever but given the lack of competition in the area the prices are completely fair. That's just supply and demand. You're not going to get Chinatown pricing at a place in the Conejo Valley....if you want Chinatown pricing you should go to Chinatown. I've purchased at least 4 or 5 things here and can't come up with one complaint. The guy who helped me last was quite enthusiastic but he was pretty cute and I appreciated the effort. This place is great, they have a huge selection of glass and a very knowledgeable staff. I went in looking for something specific and on Andrews recommendation bought something completely different which at $200 was a bit of a risk but I couldn't be happier with the piece I got. I definitely recommend Wild Side for your next piece, go talk to Andrew and he'll send you in the right direction. It looks like a lot of the negative feedback they've got in the past about high prices and people breaking their piece and wanting money back are ridiculous and shouldn't be paid attention to. Walked in here trying to buy a cheap as in -cheapest water pipe you have- piece because I travel weekly and don't want a broken piece in my luggage. The kid working the counter refused to give us price ranges or tell us which pieces were inexpensive. "Yeah dude every piece in here has a price tag" is the most condescending bull I've heard this week. Not one recommendation on ANY of the items I was interest in? Ok thanks buddy. I end up seeing an acrylic junker hidden in the novelty section of their cases we wanted to buy it and get out of there, the only problem is that another guy came in the shop right as we found what we were looking for. My husband and I were left waiting for 15+ minutes while the clerk and random guy talked about a pyramid scheme the customer was peddling. The clerk then gave me an attitude when I asked if I could interrupt them to make a purchase. I never thought I would be annoyed trying to buy a bong. Listen, I know you're 19 and work in a smoke shop but try and pretend you give a crap about the people who enter your place. If I can give this smoke shop ZERO STARS I would. They really dont care about their customers. If you purchase something there and it breaks the next day they pretty much say sorry about your luck. Their glass is cool but priced to high. I recommend shopping around cuz u can find it cheaper. And if you tell them that watch how fast they drop the price. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR E-NAILS. Tonight was my first time hearing about this smoke shop after a friend recommended me to head over and I was pleasantly surprised by the wide variety of batteries, wraps, RAW merchandise, glass, etc. The shop may be seemingly small but it has most of the essentials. I was looking to pick up a metal down stem and the only ones available were the glass ones, but honestly I'm not complaining! The airflow was pretty nice and the down stem itself is fairly thick and sturdy. The minute we walked in we were greeted warmly by the gentleman working the cash register and he checked up on us to help us out if we needed anything and he was more than willing to show me the different sizes of their down stems and even compared them for me so I could actually see the differences in sizes, and it was at a very fair price. I've been the smoke shop across the way from Kellogg park and the place is just too cramped and there isn't much space to look around and take your time, but I was very happy and comfortable browsing in this smoke shop and I am definitely coming back for all of my essentials. I also wanted to say how appreciative I was of the great customer service I had with the gentleman that helped me out. I wasn't able to catch his name but he wears glasses and wore his hat backwards, anyways, super chill dude and overall very helpful. He even offered to bubble wrap the down stem for me and I almost didn't know how to act because no one has ever offered to do that and I thought it was a nice touch. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Good Prices, Bad Quality, Questionable Customer Service. Last night, I purchased an 18" tall 8 tree percolator glass on glass water pipe from Wild Side down town on Main St, with a 5 barrel downstem and bowl to replace my piece that I broke earlier this week. After using my brand new piece to medicate for two sessions last night, I was in love with the piece. It hit smooth, worked well, I was excited about the purchase I had made. I woke up this morning to give my new toy a try, picked it up, and upon doing so 3 of the 5 barrels on the down stem simply fell off. I didn't drop it, or bang it against anything, I simply lifted it up off of my carpeted floor and it fell apart which I didn't know was possible. I came in this morning to see if it could be fixed or what could be done. The gentleman behind the counter told me it could not be fixed and offered to sell me sub-par down stem at full price. After I explained that I did nothing to make the break happen (I honestly didn't it just broke), and asked if he could do anything for me, he then offered me $5 off the sub-par downstem, explaining that if he just replaced it he wouldn't be able to stay in business. To which I thought, he also isn't going to stay in business if he keeps losing customers. I am a local small business owner and clients satisfaction is an incredibly important part of my company, and I do understand that companies must make money to stay in business. However, I have spent hundreds of dollars purchasing various pieces from Wild in the past, the disappointing purchase I made yesterday will be the last. Similarly, I have a friend who also needed to replace a piece that broke this week, and after I told him what happened he said he was going to go to Salzer's or Venice instead, and now I wish I had too. read more

HUGE selection. The people are friendly and informative. The guy that was helping me gave me personal likes/dislikes about units I asked about... no sales pitch. The prices are pretty fair. I've looked online and the 2 items I have bought were priced exactly the same... only I didn't have to pay shipping and handling. PLUS, they will give you a discount if you pay with cash. Also, while I was there, a guy came in and said he accidentally dropped his glass bowl just outside... they replaced it immediately, no questions asked. Horrible Smoke shop. Sells sub-par glass that looks good but breaks the second you take it home. Had a perc simply crack within the piece (Phyre Legacy) upon opening it, called this place up asking for help and I was verbally berated and insulted. When I asked for a return, I was immediately told "there is no way you are ever getting your money back". When I then asked to speak to the owner, I was denied that privilege as well. Huge selection of everything. Cant even begin to explain. Vaporizers of all shapes and sizes even portable ones that fit in your pocket!!!! Largest glass selection i have ever seen. from the moment you walk it the atmosphere in friendly and very upbeat. Customer service was GREAT the employee made sure to switch between the people that were in there that way we didn't feel as is we were just window shopping or just left unhelped. After purchasing a one of a kind SIMBA i arrived home and all troubles then left me. I have never used a better, smoother, nicer piece. If anyone hasn't seen these pieces they are a MUST!!!!! Buyer Beware! I bought a device there. It was defective. Turned right around and he would not exchange. Showed the "dude" the defective part compared to another of the same and explained how the difference made it defective. Offered to trade up to a more expensive model. They would not credit me for the defective part. Asked to speak to the owner. Dude doesn't know. Called credit card company in his presence and cancelled the charge. Went to Sam's in El Rio and found the defective part is sold as a spare. read more
