All the food was fantastic as were Sue and her team! They kept our entire party extremely satisfied and happy.

Recently attended an event that used this catering company, and I'm so disappointed in what they had to offer. The tray passed appetizers came out looking sloppy (was a spring roll which should be rolled nice and tight) but upon taking a bit would fall apart everywhere. Was served a raw chicken skewer, and when I let the caterer know what happened she seemed very unbothered by the fact that she had served raw chicken and let me know she needed to pay better attention which was kind of alarming to me. The server she had accompanying her was actually lovely and very kind, and very apologetic about serving the raw skewer. Prior to posting my review I did go on to read other reviews and it seems as if this isn't the first time that raw chicken has been served which is very concerning. The appetizers lacked flavor to me, and unfortunately after consuming the raw chicken I threw my plate away as I was too concerned to keep eating. Not my favorite experience to say the least. read more

Susan catered my baby shower for 30 people and the food was OUTSTANDING! It's was a mix of fresh, farmer's market, homemade, but professionally cooked meals. I wanted to ensure our guests were well fed and she nailed the menu for the theme, which was early November, so we went healthy/harvest/thanksgiving. Her menu has so many good options, and she delivers everything and will do some light prep and help you figure out timing/schedule. Susan was very easy to work with and very accommodating.....our coffee order was accidentally left off the order, but Susan personally went to Starbucks and delivered coffee to us. We had Susan prepare dinner for eight of us on a Saturday night. We had a few emails discussing the menu: pork belly appetizer, soup, salad, sea bass, lamb chops and a terrific desert. Food was exceptional and I was extremely happy that I did not have to do a THING except enjoy our meal and our guests. Everyone loved the food and loved having dinner in the comfort of home rather than going out. Susan brought a wonderful server that helped move things forward without us ever feeling rushed. They also prepared a champagne cocktail and charcuterie that we enjoyed outside before moving into the house for dinner. They used our kitchen, dishes, glassware and a few pans. Service was terrific and everything flowed smoothly from appetizers to dessert. We had some special guests arriving and Wild Thyme completely facilitated this surprise for the other couples. When they left, every single dish had been washed (i think by hand) and my dishwasher was empty--so I had room for the last remaining dishes. My house has never been this clean after a dinner party. I'm not sure I can ever to back to planning my own dinner parties now. There was not a single stressful minute. The price was what we would have paid in a nice restaurant. I had eaten Wild Thyme catering at other events and was very impressed so I had them in my home to cater a private dinner to celebrate an occasion for my husband and me. Five courses of Heaven! We had Ahi Poke for amuse bouche, the best soup I've ever had - the Scallop chowder with tarragon, the classic Wild Thyme salad, a delicious mushroom and prosciutto stuffed pork tenderloin with veggies and potatoes and a flourless chocolate cake! We asked Wild Thyme to cater our wedding. We asked for a theme of fusion cuisine to blend Mormon, Polish, Chinese, and Teochew cuisine together and Wild Thyme knocked out out of the park! They rolled up and were able to work around how we had the ceremony and reception areas staged. When we gave them the signal to come in, they went right into setting up what they brought and food preparation. The appetizers they had prepared were a perfect, bite-sized tease to the wonderful flavor dance our taste buds would soon enjoy. It was a promising sight to see our guests lining up for the mocktails we had chosen and an even more promising view of the main courses having been nearly picked clean by our guests while Wild Thyme were making another batch. I grabbed a bit of everything for my plate and everything was so tasty! We even had a few guests coming up to our bride+groom table to specifically ask again what the food items were (again, we had a fusion cuisine blend of menu items) because they really liked it. My biggest regret with Wild Thyme, from the chaos of running around for photos of your own wedding, was that we didn't steal off with a bucket of any leftovers. My helper and I went to Susan's home on a service call to repair the beautiful double wall oven she has. She knew we were going to be there for a couple of hours so Susan told us we were in for a treat, and that she was making lunch for us. Best residential service call I've ever done! Very disappointed. Found caterer on Thumb Tack for 50+ person office event. All five star ratings on Thumb Tack. When the office sat down to eat it was discovered that most of the chicken was raw on the skewers. Noodles also were more like mash potatoes and mushy. All of the food so bad it was tossed out. When I voiced my disappointment to the caterer her comments were that she was sorry I was disappointed and perhaps she should have checked the chicken before it was delivered. She also acknowledged that she tried a new type of noodle and again sorry it was not to our liking. No discount offered. We paid bill, but will never use this caterer again. read more
