We had to wait 30 minutes for a table. The restaurant was not busy at all We had to wait extremely long for our food. There was another table that was seated, served after us and was able to leave before our food was presented to us. My husband orders his sandwich lightly toasted and the bread was rock hard. It had to be remade and it took longer to come back out. Our server made the excuse that the other party had a much simpler order. The TVs had soccer game on them and we could hear the cooks cheering from the kitchen when a goal being scored. It was really annoying. My teriyaki bowl was okay but the veggies were burnt and chewy. The chicken was tasty. My friend ordered the French toast and quesadilla but both were mediocre.

I asked the person who seated us to describe the gravy that came with the biscuits and gravy. His words, "It's a country sausage gravy filled with chunks of sausage." I ordered that meal with hash browns extra crispy, eggs OM and bacon. I wish I had taken a pic. The gravy had ZERO meat in it and was thin, flavorless liquid you could see through. It just ran off the biscuits and puddled on the plate. The hash browns were almost raw inside and the eggs and yolks were cooked hard (with some gelatinous stuff in the white) and dumped in a weird pile on the plate, no effort was made to even make them look like two eggs on a plate. I did eat the bacon. When I paid for the meal, I looked the guy straight in the eye and asked, "You've never actually had the B&G here have you? Next time someone asks about the gravy, don't lie to them." I would go on to describe the steak and eggs one of us ordered, but I don't have that kind of time. He just put it in a to go box for his dog. Oh yeah, forgot to mention, the coffee was burnt and easily in the top 3 worst coffees I've ever had in a restaurant. I definitely won't be back here again.

I'm giving Beach Cafe a three star rating for two factors:…read more 1) The box lunches are worth it IMO. The convenience factor alone makes it worth it for Front Sight trips. They have a good selection, and contrary to another review posted here, you CAN customize your order AT CHECK OUT. There is a special request box on the check out page where you make requests that BC is happy to do for you. Or you can call ahead and ask. 2) The trailer at the Front Sight property makes the most hideous coffee I have ever tasted. I've had hours old gas station coffee that tasted better than the swill this gal is serving. Even the latte's are awful! The gal who runs this trailer absolutely doesn't have a clue how to make coffee in any way, shape, or form. Save yourself the agony and bring coffee with you to the range.

Just came back from the two day shotgun class. Used Beach Cafe for lunch both days. Ordering online…read morewas quick and easy, however, they need more choices in customizing your lunch. As for the lunch itself, the first day I had roast beef with horseradish mayo and it was a fantastic sandwich! The second was a turkey club that was partly soggy. Still a good sandwich but I could have done without the soggy parts. The rest of the lunch was meh. For $13.95 before tax, I got the sandwich, a bottle of water, (frontsight has cold water available for free everywhere so this isn't really necessary), an apple that was obviously unwashed since it still had a sticker on it, a small bag of potato chips, a warm cup of nasty reese potato salad, (potato salad needs to be kept cold as it has mayo in it), a bag of artificially flavored cherry rollups, and a cookie. All I ever ate was the sandwich and chips, except the first day when I peeled the apple and ate it too. The rest was worthless. If there was some way to customize your lunch a little more, or pay less to leave out all the useless stuff that would be great, but at $13.95, (paid $15 after all was said and done), it's not really a deal. Figure your lunch is worth $7-$9 and you're paying another $7-$8 for the convenience factor. Next time I'm packing my lunch.

Had he just told me go to where the cutoff is to Shoshone, I would have known. But, the only way he could describe where it was to tell me go past the resort in Tecopa We finally found it. It's near the post office in some old buldings in Tecopa. There was one little sign outside and that's why I decided to check that area. As described by others, it is a very small place. There are 5 or 6 tables--if you move the four tops into the two each you'd have more. The room is small. You order at the register and the woman brings the food to your table. I ordered a turkey club and my friend ordered a bowl of mushroom soup and a quiche. I also ordered a gingerbread iced latte. The food was brought quickly. The club sandwich was not your standard club but it had a good amount of turkey and cheese and was a very good sandwich. Forgive my photo. I cut the sandwich and was getting ready to eat it before I thought to take a photo. I tried some of my friend's mushroom soup--delicious!!! The woman forgot my latte, but when I got her attention later, she immediately got it and apologized for not remembering the order. This is a place where I'd stop again. Tecopa is a small town that you go through and be on your way before you know it. It's worth the stop if you're going to Death Valley or back.
