This company has dishonest business practices. I permanently cancelled my move for reasons beyond my control. They refuse to refund my $209 deposit when they have given zero service. They want $209 of your hard earned money for doing nothing. Unethical entitled ownership. My transaction was done over the phone and at no time did the phone representative express that I would never get my deposit back should I have to cancel. They purposely leave such information out which is a SCAM. I am not letting this go and will be following up with the IRS and various consumer reporting agencies to prevent this from happening to future customers. read more

Zac and Kenneth showed up at our house, and for the next 6.5 hours, we watched in amazement as they quickly and carefully loaded/unloaded the trailer! At one point, I tried to help out by scooting a fairly heavy shelf into an open area, then Zac effortlessly tossed it over his shoulder and scurried out the door with it. These guys are STRONG! They don't waste any time, either. The way these guys worked their way up THREE flights of stairs with our huge pieces of furniture and heavy boxes blew me away. I don't know how we could have done it without them! Also, the apartment complex hit us with a curve ball on our moving day by informing us that our apartment would be ready on time, but Wildcat worked with us to get it done on the revised schedule! read more

Couldn't be more pleased. I hate moving, and I've had bad mover experiences in the past, so I approached my move this weekend with trepidation. I shouldn't have worried. Arturo and two other guys showed up at 8:15, right in the middle of the 8:00 - 8:30 window I'd been told to expect. They got right to it, and never slowed down. The move was done in about 2 hours (from a three-bedroom to a two bedroom apartment in the same building), nothing got broken, it just couldn't have gone better. Jose, James, and Cornell were our movers today and they did an excellent job! First off, they called us when they were 45 minutes away to give us a heads up. Secondly, they arrived in a timely fashion and loaded up the truck fairly quickly, considering we had a three bedroom house that they were moving. After arriving at our new place, they worked really hard to ensure that all of our furniture and boxes were put in the correct places for us. They also disassembled and reassembled our bed, which is awesome! We definitely recommend this company and would use them again for another local move! read more

These movers were efficient, quick, punctual, and polite. Tim, Zac, and Kenny were really great! I will definitely call Wildcat again for my next move. They brought the wardrobe boxes I had requested (for an additional fee of $10 each), and they had loaded up all the rest of my boxes before we had even gotten the chance to load up all our closets! My reason for dropping my review to 4 stars instead of 5 is for 2 minor issues. The biggest one is that my washer and dryer were not re-connected correctly at the new house. The water hoses were only partially screwed on, and the dryer vent wasn't reattached at all. Simple enough things that I completed on my own afterward. The second minor issue is the inconvenience of the phone answering service. When I first started calling around for moving quotes, Wildcat was the only one that I did not hear back from on the same day. Also when I eventually called to request the wardrobe boxes, the answering service tried to tell me that the business didn't offer boxes even though I had already talked to the owner about it. It just struck me as odd that the person answering the phones was so unfamiliar with the business. It was by no means a game changer though. I chose Wildcat because of the in-home quote. This was the only moving service I talked to that offered to come out for an in-home quote, and I very much appreciated that personal touch. They didn't quote me the lowest price, but I went with them because having met Zane I felt a great degree of confidence in his guys. This company was very easy to work with from start to finish. The guys showed up right on time and took great care with my things. More importantly, they were courteous and had a good attitude. Nobody likes moving but if you've gotta do it, I would definitely recommend for any friend to use them. This was the worse experience I have had with a mover. It took 6.5 hours to move a 1bedroom apartment with no appliances to another apartment with an elevator . The price tag $885 . I let the owner know how ridiculous this was and it shouldn't have taken that long to move a tiny apartment . He came up with every excuse in the book. I rarely post but this was out right robbery. There is a place in hell for people like this. Retribution and Karma will be swift and harsh. I'm so angry and thought this was a reputable place. HORRIBLE!! I have hired movers the last 7 years EVERY YEAR and NEVER had such an awful experience! I messaged the owner and manager and I guess they are to careless to respond or try to resolve this issue. I woke up yesterday morning actually thankful I decided to hire movers since I've been battling dreadful allergies. They showed up 30 minutes in head of schedule which was great! But then as the hours passed by and still very little to no progress made as far as the move itself I decided to see what the hold up was. One of the employees was literally moving slower than anyone, probably due to the fact he had trouble keeping his shorts above his rear and just seemed very confused of what to do if Sergio wasn't around. So I started helping move my own things once they finally arrived at my new place (TOOK # hours just to load my 1 bedroom apt). Not only was this employee lazy and incompetent he was also inappropriate (cornering me in the elevator and my own closet). Then he pretty much watched Sergio and I move my stuff. Sergio even admitted that the move took WAY longer than it should have and he kept apologizing for his incompetent co worker. Then at one point Sergio was bringing stuff up to my new place and this other guy was going through my box of clothes and hanging them in my closet (which I was already doing) I asked him to go please help Sergio get the rest of the stuff in. He disregarded me and kept handling my clothes and making it very uncomfortable. I finally told him bluntly I did not want him touching my clothes. He said "ok" then stood there!!! I again asked if he could try to speed things up as I'm paying them by the hour and this was just beyond ridiculous 4 hours in. He said "oh, my bad!" I didn't know you were paying by the hour". Then he just complained of his stomach hurting. To top it off he then tells me and sergio (as we are pulling off plastic and putting together furniture, right outside the bathroom) that "he's going to use my bathroom for awhile"!!!!???? I told him he was absolutely not going to take the first crap in my new apartment. He said "I was mean" walked out and sat in the truck for the remainder of the move. This move should not have taken anywhere near the amount of time it did, which I hope Sergio would vouch for. I also thought I was getting a $25 discount!? Instead I was charged $788 to move a 1 bedroom apartment! read more

Arturo and Richard were great! We had never used a moving service before, but Wildcat really exceeded our expectations. Both Arturo and Richard were very polite. They arrived early, introduced themselves and explained the pricing clearly. They were very efficient with packing up the truck. We were quoted 2-4 hours and the entire move was over in less than 2. Daniel, the move coordinator, was also great and took an inventory of our move and explained the process and pricing before we booked. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I paid $3300 to have my house moved and it was a terrible experience. First the movers did not do as they advertise. The "red carpet treatment" is not what to expect. The movers multiply times got into our fridge in the garage to help themselves to snacks and energy drinks without asking. Second there were no masks worn at anytime and third they dropped my refrigerator from the top of the moving truck, Totaling the unit. I paid $2500 for the fridge 1.5 years ago and it was a complete loss. I filed a claim with this company and it took two weeks to get a response that I initiated. They sent me an offer of $681.00 to replace the fridge. I asked them to reconsider and provided the receipt of purchase with the fridge and ext. 5 year warranty. They denied this, and said $681 is all they would pay. I yelled and screamed and they could care less. DO NOT USE THEM. Also the owner never once reached out to apologize or discuss. This move has now cost me $6000 out of my pocket. Their insurance is the required state minimum and they will not budge if anything is damaged. In the fine print their contract states any damage will be paid at .60 cents to the pound. So If they drop your 50 pound flat screen that cost 2K, your only getting pennies on the dollar to replace the item. Horrible experience..... I added pictures that I took the morning before they touched the fridge and after pics. Doors, hinges, and glass shelves were completely destroyed. And worst of all they left it for me to deal with. I asked them to schedule to come pick up the fridge and NO response. Move on to the next google search and pick another company, please..... read more

These guys were my heroes. A week before my move, my original movers bailed on me. I was stressed trying to find someone on such short notice. Daniel gave me a quote within the hour I requested it, and got everything set up quick. Alton and Henry showed up not just on time, but even 15 minutes early. As you can tell from my earlier review, I gave them a lot of slack considering I never got anything I was promised up until that point (which I mentioned in my earlier review for this same move): no day-before phone call, no call the day of on their way, they showed up 30 minutes after expected arrival time, then unapologetically responded to them being late by telling me "there's a one-hour arrival window" which was never mentioned to me beforehand. I called many times before the move date to get these confirmations but never received a reply phone call. Ultimately, despite not being present to oversee at least half of what they did, the movers seemed to try to take good care of my belongings and they mentioned that I'd get a discount if I wrote a Yelp review on the spot, so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and gave them four stars. I was just happy that the process was over, or so I thought. Unfortunately dealing with damage claims with Wildcat Movers (via the owner Zane) is a very frustrating and unfair experience. I went into this move in pretty good sprits considering the good reviews here on Yelp. However, one review in particular gave me pause, specifically the one by Michelle H. on 10/27/2015. She specifically mentioned that she had damage done to her mattress, took lots of pictures and videos, and ultimately the owner told her it was the movers' words against hers. This is exactly what happened to me. They moved a $4,500 bed of mine (including a $1,500 box spring) wherein the box spring got a corner damaged. I took pictures immediately (the move ended Saturday afternoon) and called as soon as I noticed (an hour or so after I wrote my earlier review). I called and was promised replies but never received a single one. Finally, I got David the scheduling coordinator on the phone on Mon who took my details and told me the owner would be out of town for 2 weeks but would get back to me before that because he had his laptop with him. That two weeks passed and then some. I finally had to call again this past Monday (almost 2.5 weeks after my move) and got the owner directly who said he'd give me a call back that same day. The day came and went with no call despite me following up and having him paged multiple times by coworkers. I again had to rely on David to reach out to the owner to finally get a response, and the owner finally called me unapologetically. I sent detailed pictures of the damage and stressed the cost of the bed in addition to there being no damage before the move began; to give you an idea of how careful I am in general, I take move-in and move-out walk-through videos of all my apartments and carry umbrella insurance just in case. The owner went on saying how he didn't understand how "an item that light" could be dropped and damaged, that he talked to his two movers Kenneth and Drew who he referred to as his "best movers", and they said they didn't do anything wrong. Ultimately, the owner told me that I don't have sufficient proof that Wildcat caused my damage and that he wouldn't cover anything. When I asked "isn't that what insurance is for" regarding covering disputes of this type, he said he doesn't file claims on stuff that "isn't their fault"; I guess I have to be a professional lawyer to get a payout from these guys despite me being very understanding and thorough every step of the way. Do NOT use Wildcat Movers. If they damage your things, they will not honor their $1.80/pound insurance policy or any other moving insurance policy. I repeat: do not use this company. read more

So, I needed to come back to change my review to go over the disastrous moving day that I only thought happened to the nasty reviewers on Yelp ! Well, last week my boyfriend scheduled a move for us and got the 1-3 pm time slot. 3:50 rolls around without a call or an update- so I ask him to call and find out what is going on. The manager Kenneth says that they will be about an hour later than expected. So we wait another hour ... I won't bore you with the details but they didn't arrive until 9pm that night. That being said, my storage room closed at 10 pm and that is where the majority of the stuff was. I would have started there if we didn't need to drop stuff off there from the first place. Kenneth kept offering me a Tuesday time slot because they were all booked until then... The thing is, I booked 1-3 pm on Saturday and kinda expected that to work out. I understand that some crazy stuff happened that prevented them from being on time ( service elevator broke, 4 guys went to help and it was a 3 min walk according to our movers) but, it's not my job to fix it. As you know, scheduling time off during a weekday isn't so simple especially when you know... You already booked the time. I was super bummed that this even occurred because I ranted and raved about how this company moved me the first time... They were fantastic! It was such a shame it went this way and the communication was horrible. To have to constantly call a company when it should be the opposite was disheartening to say the least and demonstrated that the "it's not our problem" attitude from management was ok. (Disclaimer: that is my perception, Kenneth could have actually cared.. It just didn't feel like it) I even waited a whole week to update my review because I wanted to take a moment and chill. I am disappointed overall because the perception I had was that it was ok to screw us over... (According to one of the movers we weren't even on the schedule today... Uh.. What? Don't get me going on that!) as long as everyone who booked after us wasn't screwed over. I most likely won't be using this company again- not knocking the movers because they worked hard to get us moved in. I'm not a person who asks a company how they are going to make it right- but, there wasn't even an offer to maybe comp an hour since... I don't know you were a total of 6 hours late? I wouldn't want it now because it would be insincere- I just hope that no one else experiences this type of situation because it genuinely sucks and is insanely stressful. If you do decide to use this company, be flexible on the day (have the whole week available apparently) and book them as the first time slot and not in the afternoon. I don't really care to have a response from the owner seeing as how he was aware of situation and didn't reach out anyways- at this point it would be moot. I hate being harsh in my reviews and this is probably the lowest review I've ever given, but I'm still annoyed by the whole situation. I just wish it would have gone differently. **Update 11/20/15** A week after our move and a day or so after I updated my review- I have received a compliment from Kenneth explaining his side of the situation and also that my comments may have been out of line regarding his attitude, you can read below: Thank you for you very detailed review. We appreciate every customer who gives us feedback on how to make our service better that being said this is the assistant manager Kenneth. I apologize for all the inconvenience on your move day but I tried my hardest to get a crew there to get you moved on time but for you to badger me and say I didn't care is a little uncalled for. I was doing my best to work with you and the moves I was already attending to. I care deeply about all of our customers I was willing to come out myself and get things started but we were short staffed. I understand you had a set date with us but a lot of things can happen in the moving business that can hinder our performance. I was offering a discount with the new date but that wasn't an option do to your schedule so we sent 4 guys over for the price of 2 which saved you an additional 109 per hour. But once again we are very sorry for the inconvenience and we highly appreciate your business Thank you I pride myself on giving honest reviews about service & my perception, I couldn't make up a false review if I tried. Zach also reached out to my boyfriend a week after our move to reiterate what Kenneth said, and as you can see, he even replied to this review. The movers were excellent- they did a great job and had some hustle- I think I said that in my review and Brett even shared that on the phone.
