My visit was for a "second opinion" Dr. Silva "saved" My tooth and enabled Me to be able to get a crown, instead of having it pulled which was the recommendation of My old dentist. They treat you like a friend or family here from the moment You walk in! Staff was extremely attentive and highly skilled. I was amazed at the professionalism and expertise of the hygienist working on my crown. She was also incredibly kind. You get what You pay for. Make sure You check with insurance before booking a procedure. This office uses state of the art technology. If you just need "routine" dental care may not be your place. But for fillings and crowns, they are top of the line. I am so thanful I called their office! I got excuses from the person who answered the phone from January through March that, "I'm new and I don't know how to get that information for you. Could I get a good number so that someone can call you back and answer your questions?" Don't expect to get a call back. You will need to stay on top of it. I also was on hold for over 20 minutes, got disconnected, and called back just to hold again for another 20 minutes to find out that they would not send my last visit to my dental office as there is no billing code for a re-evaluation. That's laughable because there is a billing code for everything. Took me until the end of February to get everything straightened out from my two visits with them in early December of last year. They don't worry about following up on claims because as I was told, if we don't get it from your insurance company, we'll bill you. Last but not least, make sure you get information as to what the insurance company will pay before setting up any appointments. If by chance they overcharge you at this office, you have to wait at least two weeks to get a check, will not put it back on your credit card. It's not two weeks from when they get payment from your insurance but two weeks from when they get around to account billing updating. Not the way to run an office. Beth B.

For reference, I have worked in the medical field for almost 20 years, so things like bedside manner register for me. Last week, I was seen to investigate some tooth pain. I was given a de sensitizer to hold off one of the teeth that was hurting (there was 2). The other tooth was written off as possible referred pain (it was not). As the other tooth pain emerged and has sustained for 4 days, I have been completely unable to furnish any help or meaningful communication from Chesterfield Smiles. Dr Moreno apparently went out of town, without leaving any systems in place that would deal with patients with dental emergencies. After a delay, I was called in an antibiotic, for pain that is not presenting as a gum infection (saturday). Sunday I was able to call, and reached a call center, of which the lady was polite, seemed to care, and said something would be called in after sharing with her the pharmacy details. Monday, after checking with the CVS, there was no prescription. Calling the office, Cameron was completely unhelpful, saying that there are no notes from the call yesterday. She fixated on a lack of notes, and that Dr Moreno was out of town. Providing some definitive treatment and relief to me as a patient, was not a priority. I am extremely disappointed in the patient care, and lack of attentiveness, and subsequent pain and lack of sleep over the past few days. This was fixable. Think twice before booking!
